**Note: this is now called Amore not Joe's** I'll start by saying I get it. Small town in West Texas, but I'm also from these parts. So I'll cut you a little slack. Nice large dining room and bar. It was much bigger inside than I thought it would be. The wine menu was about what I expected it to be. I saw some people dressed up & some in shorts & hoodies. The service was good for the most part. We weren't offered refills and I was a little upset that we were offered oil to dip the bread in but were not told it was an up-charge. I knew as soon as I saw it but I was expecting the little plate with a drizzle in it that most Italian places offer. She called it hot oil, and it was spicy. I just think they need to specify that it's an add on. The portions were a good size. The tomato basil soup had cream in it which I wasn't expecting. Again, something small but could be better. The Italian wedding soup was oily and didn't have any meatballs. My main issue is that most of the food only tasted like salt. The pasta was over cooked and soggy. I got chicken piccata and I drizzled some of that hot oil on it and squeezed on the lemon from my tea to give it some flavor. My husband had a lasagna. He said it was "basic". read more

What a unexpected surprise to find such great Italian food in Andrews, TX. So it's called Amor now instead of the old establishments name. Great service and a very nice interior. They have a full bar and a great menu to match. My buddy grabbed the meat balls with a side of spaghetti and he liked it a lot. Moist meatballs and the pasta was perfect. I opted for the pasta elgio olio. Veggies in spaghetti with top shelf olive oil. It was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes when I'm in town. read more

This is an unassuming restaurant with very little parking, but find a spot and stop in! I had spaghetti with Italian Sausage and Meatballs. The spaghetti was a bit past al dente for my taste but the meatballs and sausage made up for it. My wife ordered a pizza, which was also very good. The "Don't Miss" here is they bread and butter that they bring out before the meal is served! People around us got salads, seafood, and several other dishes. All looked and smelled great! read more

This restaurant used to be a great place but not anymore, I believe they are running under a new management, and it really looks and feels as an abandoned place. I spoke once with the owner at that time, and he was thinking to sell the business, I think he did, sad. There was only one other table at 19:30 when three months ago it was full. Service is bad, food is not fresh and the portions are minimal, prices as well as the quality is cheap. Sorry for Andrews, TX, they don't have another good Italian restaurant anymore. read more

I'm thrilled with my visit today. We started off with their stuffed mushrooms which are served in a pink sauce. Highly recommend them! We had simple spaghetti and lasagna which both were in generous portions and tasted great. Servers were friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean. To top it off their iced tea is very good. We were driving through town heading home and decided to place a to go order. First impression spot on! Every person that works there asked me if I have been helped yet. Waited less than 15 minutes for our order. We ordered a pizza, Alfredo, and lasagna. Everyone is super happy with the food! Great experience! read more

Unfortunately for me, I dined here. And there's not too many positives I can say about this place. I had the veal Parmesan, and frankly it was terrible. It tasted like it was out of a box. They put a slice of processed cheese on top of what I guess is the meat, and microwaved it. "I'm not exaggerating" Also, the marinara sauce for it was flavorless and chalky. I also ordered a Caesar salad, and the dressing for it was funny tasting. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was nasty. Worst Caesar dressing I've ever had. I would consider the prices to be somewhat reasonable, but that does not and cannot make up for taste, and quality. 3 stars = AOK per Yelp rating scale. Carryout order came with no utensils or napkins. Food overall decent, probably better than you'd expect, but not objectively fantastic. Lettuce had a lot of brownish/reddish edges on the lettuce and a bunch of the world's smallest croutons. Chicken piccata - way overcooked. The capers had been cooked to the point that they burst. The pasta was overcooked and very soft. Not much flavor to the butter/lemon sauce. Impressed that the cannoli shell was truly crisp, though. If I lived in Andrews or frequently had to be there on business, I'd still come back. In a bigger town, it wouldn't be at the top of my list. read more

Frozen Italian food you could get from the market and make at home in less time and far less money. Our server had no knowledge of the menu, and worse yet no idea of what Spumoni even was - but the word was on the menu. Just wasn't what they brought out when I ordered it. She actually told me I didn't know what Spumoni was, even though I had to point to the word when I ordered it. Too many teenagers with poor work ethic and bad attitude when the place gets busy, and it does get busy only because there isn't an eatery in town that isn't benefitting from the oilfield whether the food is good, bad or toxic. Great for the price Good quality. Generous portions. I ordered the chicken cacciatore. It was excellent. A lil spicy , fresh veggies and good sauce. I've been here before. About 7 months ago. Went there with 2 coworkers . Haven't been there since. But I think about it when I drive by there. Had no lunch today. So it sounded so good as I was driving home. Stopped and ordered. Like the last time, people waiting . I decided to order it to go. I got the linguine tutomare. A seafood pasta dish. This place looks like a mom and pops place. Set in a 1980 setting. But the smell is so good. But the food is so much better. If this place was fancy and in a big city Joes would be the place to go. Like here in Andrews. I've been told to get the chicken parmesan. But the one I chose has a lot of fish and seafood. I was impressed the first time I came. And can't believe I haven't been back sooner. It's loaded with big shrimp, sea scallops, clams and fish. With a great red sauce. The bread is average. But if I was going for the bread, I wouldn't be writing this review. If you go there look for parking. Take the first one you see. There is just street parking. And every time i drive by its full. My food was great again. And can't wait to stop by again. In this area. Being in the Permian Basin it's hard to get great food. But glad this place exists . Very good for Andrews texas. I had baked ziti lunch with salad. It is salad from a bag, but it was fine. Ziti had no meat, just tomato sauce and ricotta cheese but I asked for some sliced sausage and they gave me that for free which was nice. The homemade warm garlic knots were tasty and complimentary. For 7.99 it was an inexpensive and yummy lunch. Good service. Of course there were only five people in there at 1pm on a Thursday. I would go again. read more

Don't let them fool you nothing is made from scratch more like Joe Boyardee. I was looking forward to them coming to town, nothing but disappointment, gave them many chances but when you continually get burnt subs or 2 tbsp of sauce on the meatball sub. I asked for extra sauce on a pizza once and got no sauce, al dente pasta they have no idea what that is, they seem like good people they need to hire a chef and start fresh! read more

I drove into town, from Arizona, saw the place all lit up and busy! I thought it looked great and would try it. After picking up two other people, we went there for dinner and it was fantastic! To our surprise the menu offered steaks paired with pasta sides, salad, and bread (delicious bread)!!! I've never had ribeye made " the Italian way" and after this, having ribeye ( my favorite) will never be the same! Mine was served with 3 perfect sautéed shrimp also! We met the owner/chef (which is always nice-he was great) and our server, Ben, could not have been more fun and accommodating! Great old fashioned candy machines in the breezeway! People would have to be crazy not to love this place....I'll go a couple more times before I head back to Arizona! Will miss Joe's! read more

Great food, my family especially loved the rolls. Unfortunately, we were served by an unenthusiastic, apathetic and rude waitress. She frequently interrupted us while we were ordering, rolled her eyes and spoke in a hostile tone. I have never spoken to a more rude person in my life. I would recommend eating here if you don't mind being talked to this way by staff, if you have any dignity, I'd go to mcdonalds or something. read more

This place is by far The best restaurant in andrews!! Their service is a step above every other restaurant in town. Their food is SOOO GOOD, nothing to this day have I had anything disappointing, and I've tried about all the dishes they have... They also have fish chef specialties on the board as you walk in. I agree with previous post this is probably the best place to eat in Andrews. The food is good but the service always seems to be better than other locals. This is a refreshing change to Italian food in a town completely smothered by Mexican food. I would recommend stopping here to anyone passing thru town. read more
