I gave 2 stars because the delivery was good the driver polite but the food was NOT. We have ordered from Joes for over 25 years and this new management is not good. The phone goes to a voice mail trying to get you to order online and if you do they will take of 20%. Well I did use there terrible online ordering system and I DID NOT get the discount. The system is not user friendly at all which resulted in our getting subs that we did not enjoy. And for the price now these subs should have been delicious but sadly they were not. My husband called and order carry out and then I picked it up on my way home. I ORDERED an italian sub (says spicy italian on the menu but they say they don't have spicy) and he ORDERED a corned beef and provolone SANDWICH. what they gave us was one italian sub and then another italian sub basically but with corned beef in it instead. both had teeny tiny bit of meat in it, almost nothing. of course we discovered this when i got home. we called to tell them their mistake and they sat their on the phone and argued with us. they tried to tell us that we ordered wrong. how do i order wrong when im the one that knows what I want. and also it was supposed to be a sandwich for my husband. not a sub. so you are already wrong. we used to go here once in awhile but not anymore. they've been going downhill and now they want to argue with us when they were in the wrong. Just tried this pizza place and was very good. The crust and sauce was delicious, ordered extra Cheese but probably didn't need too. Will definitely try other items on the menu , like all the choices of dinners, salads and subs and more, plus coupons for the special days a bonus. Also the staff was very friendly. I have eaten at Joe's Pizza Manassas Park since the day they opened their doors. Always happy to stop by to pick up my dinner and see the faces I have known for decades. That is no more. The new Owners/Management has taken a Manassas area pillar and driven it into the ground. The food is portioned small, nothing on the menu has been left unchanged; for the worse may I add, the ingredients are subpar and the once vibrant flavors I have loved are now bland and full of salt, the prices have risen, and the employees are rude and condescending. They have lost my entire family's business. We will have to look elsewhere for our pizza fix. read more

I call back to complain about the pizza and the clerk proceeded to tell me that's the way that Joes pizza and sub cooks their pizza. unsatisfactory customer service the clerk could've been more apologetic about the situation. I told her that was wrong I've gotten pizza there before and my pepperoni was always on top of the cheese not under the cheese. For many a moon I have overlooked this establishment. Day after day for nearly 4 and 3/12 years I have driven past, jeering at what appears to be a mediocre dive. How could a modest shack serve a quality pizza able to meet my high demands? How could this measly stall hope to deliver me an authentic Italian experience able to rival the expectations set by my dear little Nonna? After a bad shift at work in the mines one day, I felt at my lowest. I was in desperate need of something, anything, to remind me of what once I had. By some providence, I drunkenly stumbled my way to this humble shop. Though my expectations were low, I felt as if I could fall to no point below where I already was. With heavy heart, I placed my order. A simple Sicilian pizza, topped with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. In spite of my low faith, I began to eat. What I found was pleasantly surprising. A perfect blend of sauce, cheese, and crust formed a beautiful symphony on my taste buds. This is no mere pizza, this is an art. Ravenously, I began tearing into slice upon slice, devouring each one. I quickly learned the idiotic folly of my nonbelief in Joe. Now past my uninitiated ways. Quickly, I ordered another. And after that, another. Within the first two hours, I had consumed 3 large Sicilians. My veins flowed with their sauce. My flesh, now formed anew, had become the crust. My bones pulsated with the raw beauty of the mozzarella. My soul had been fully purified by the delectable grease of the meat. I have ascended beyond the confines of my meager human form, evolving to a state beyond that of the mortal plane. I now live for the rest of time, dwelling behind this fine, nearly holy establishment, sustaining myself off of the dumpster and the scraps of pizza I manage to wrestle from unsuspecting patrons. How could they ever appreciate the pizza to the degree that I am capable of? They have not been chosen by Joe, the sauce lord. With chunks of my former flesh, I will form a vessel capable of holding Joe's purity. When the day is come, he will pass judgement on this earth, and He and I will live in eternity beyond the stars. We ordered the specialty all meat pizza and it was sooo thin, crust burnt, and little to no sauce. Also pizza was cold. We also purchased the Stromboli. But I never thought of stopping by until my friend that lives in Alexandria says he makes the long drive to Manassas just for Joe's. The sub comes with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and banana peppers. The bread was excellent, and the veggie toppings were plentiful. The meat was a finely chopped steak - which had good flavor - BUT - it was a bit on the salty side. The fries were very good. They offer lots of other stuff: Gyros, subs, pizza, pasta, and more. I was in my second bite of my sub and bit into something hard. For a second I thought it was a bone but it's a veggie Sub. Then I spit it out and I found a STAPLER! Absolutely horrible and how in the world would a stapler end up IN a SUB??? There was no post it or receipt attached to it. They wrote on the foil with a marker/sharpie. Joes is a Manassas Park staple... I will always visit occasionally but over the last few months, my three visits have not been anything stellar, matter of fact, they've been rather disappointing. Joes was once my "go to" for pizza delivery. The last two pies we've ordered have been bland, undercooked and soggy; we now order pizza from Pisano's. We also ordered a Philly Chicken Sub lunch special, while the accompanying steak fries were killer, the sub itself was pretty blah. It wasn't chopped up seasoned chicken like what you would expect a Philly to be, it was chunks of grey meat, no seasoning, no cheese, no onions, just mayo and lettuce - similar to a chicken breast that had a knife coarsely run through it. The meat was pretty suspect so it was primarily just removed from the sub. I still love the salads and gyros here, but the quality of food has drastically declined. read more

It's cheap. Close to the road. The guys that work there are nice. They don't stop speaking Spanish to each other even while you order. I know a little Spanish so I understood every other word. They were miles away talking about anything other than making a meal. Don't blame them but I felt I was interrupting their routine. I should have called my order in from my car parked in front of their place and probably got better service. Once I ordered, I wanted to eat outside but the tables hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I asked for extra napkins so I could clean the tables. Food was decent and really hot. It was perfect for the price but I wish it had been delivered so we didn't have to experience what it was like for take out. I should have ordered from my car and ate it there. It wouldn't have been a better experience. Order by phone and have them deliver. Don't eat there is my only recommendation. read more

I wish this restaurant was transparent with their menu like what's included and what is not. Most subs come with fries even if it's a handful. The picture of one of the subs with fries is misleading on the mobile order menu. Well, I had a 12 inch steak and cheese sub. I was full, but I wasn't satisfied. They do give you a lot of meat for the price paid but it's heavily saturated with mayo on bread with onions, lettuce, mushrooms, and green peppers. The cheese tasted non existent and the mushrooms tasted like it was boiled. Now the type of steak would of been helpful in my ordering because the steak makes the sub. For instance, "our subs are 100% of ...." It just didn't taste like it normally would. I just don't like when restaurants put a spin on something that's very simple and classic to make.
