I was craving eggplant parmesan and found the perfect place! The bread is soft and from a local bakery, while the eggplant is perfectly fried without being greasy. The amount of cheese and marinara sauce is spot on as well. Best of all, the sandwich was served with delicious fries! My fiancee ordered the meat-lovers calzone, which looked very tasty! Although I didn't try it, he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff is really nice and friendly. This place reminds me of Primo's Hoagies and Paisanos, but a bit homer and better ingredients. We arrived just after the lunch rush and although the service wasn't stellar, it was adequate for what the place is - a strip center sub joint. My wife had the hero and was very happy with it. I personally think that they have the best calzone in the area, bar none. If I had to complain about something it would be that the calzone may have been a bit too big! We stopped here because we were in the area and it had good yelp reviews. The reviews are RIGHT! The service was really good. During dinner, our server had to go out on a delivery and the guy making the pizzas (seemed like an owner or manager) took over our table and he was really great too. But, the most important part is that the pizza was delicious! We got two pies: the supreme and the white pizza. Both were superb. The crust was just right (it's all about the crust, right?) with just a little bit of crunchy burn. Overall, an excellent dining experience (the kids loved it too, by the way). Been to the restaurant a few times in the last 4 months. I called in the food order on the visits. The woman who answered the phone was nice and verified not only what I was ordering though - since I requested no cheese because I'm not supposed to eat dairy - asked if I wanted them to skip adding butter to the pizza crust. That was appreciated that she thought about the fact that butter is also a dairy product. The food was done when I arrived and the same nice lady completed the payment transaction. I ordered the steak and cheese "8" sub. It was amazing. The bread was light and crispy. There was the perfect amount of mayonnaise. The cheese melted perfectly with the meat. The fries came out fresh and crunchy! I was very impressed. Service was quick and fast. My sub came out in about 3 minutes. Perfect spot for lunch. COLD DELIVERY, UNDERCOOKED AND JOE DIDN'T CARE . DO NOT EAT HERE! On March 3, 3017, I ordered a steak and cheese with onions and green peppers. When my food arrived the fries and sandwich were cold. The bread wasn't warmed up or toasted in any way and the few bits of green peppers and onions, were thrown on the sub raw. I called the restaurant to tell them about my food issues, and explained that it was my first time ordering food from them. Joe told me to call back the next night and he would give me a percentage off. A percentage off? I'm not going to eat this now, I want a hot meal. So I called him the following night and he said, he was too busy to fix my order and have it redelivered to call back Friday. At this point I am just shocked. So I called back Friday night and he says, "I can't help you tonight, I don't have a driver". What pizza place doesn't have a driver on Friday night?? Needless to say, Joe, gave me the run around. He said he would replace the meal, but then offered a percentage off my order, two calls later, said he would take half off. I didn't eat the original order! Joe tells me to call back on Monday. So I call on Monday evening, and yep, you guessed it, he told me, that he would only replace my food at lunch time. I had already told him in a previous telephone call that I work in DC, so how is lunch going to help me on Monday or Tues? In total, I made 5 PHONE CALLS OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK to replace my cold food. Joe did nothing but tell me they were too busy to help me. I finally gave up. MY FOOD WAS NEVER REPLACED. I have filed a complaint with VA BBB as well. read more

I called to place a pick-up order. I have usually dealt with one of the men in the restaurant. They are great. This time a woman answered the phone. She was horribly rude. Said that the menu I was looking at online was outdated. How would I know that? She has absolutely no clue how to deal with customers. This was the first time my husband and I ordered from here. We occasionally do a pizza weekend where we order pizza for our lunch and dinner for Saturday and Sunday and for Monday. Margherita pizza was alright. Would have been perfect if it had fresh basil leaves on it versus dried herbs. The buffalo chicken pizza was good but needs more chicken. I ordered a family size and swear you get the same amount as you would on a small. The garlic bread with pepperoni looks like something my 8 year old nephew would make. It is literally sliced garlic bread with a little slice of pepperoni on top. The cannoli is tiny. I thought I was going to get a single regular sized cannoli but nope they were kid sized portions. There are 3 per order and we ordered 2 orders. They are supposed to have chocolate chips in the filling, well we got the chocolate chips in 2 out of 6. Hawaiin salad was awesome. No complaints. The mezzaluna calzone was really good as well. Very cheesy. Would order again but probably only the salad and calzone. Overall, I give it 3 stars because some items were good, some need improvement, and some just need to be on the kids menu only. read more
