I've been buying pizza and subs from Paisano's for years. Until recently, the food's been consistently good. But, the XL pizza I purchased yesterday left much to be desired. It was overcooked. Cheese stopped FAR from the crust. Three toppings were added, but it was like Finding Waldo to spot them. I don't think I've ever had a 3 topping pizza that was so sparsely covered. The overall taste was little better than a frozen pizza. The large garden salad was as usual for Paisano's. I wish it included more than 2 thin slices of tomato. Their salad is consistently overwhelmed by enormous green pepper slices. If you love raw bell peppers, this is the choice for you. (I toss them and lament the lack of tomatoes.) The service was fine - I placed an online order, and it was accurately filled and waiting. This is basically a carry-out place, but there are a couple of small tables for dining in. read more

the Food here is extremely good! The meat on the steak and cheese subs aren't really season like they should be but it's a decent amount! The salads also have a decent amount of meat and it's pretty big for it.. Good Deals, Good Coupons .. Especially for lunch. 12.7.2019! ^* I ordered food last night .. The male who delivered had no change for a $20, none of my condimentand he didn't have my receipt .. He asked me 3Xs what did I want him to do .. I told him go down to the front lobby and get change he said UGHH. I told him again "He needed to go get change because he wasn't getting a $16 tip". He was gone for maybe 10Minutes .. then came back with an attitude and asked "Are you going to tip me or not?" Ordered from Paisano's tonight, and... I've never been more disappointed in an order in my life. First off, the pizza: white chicken pizza. The pizza was partly folded over on itself. Disappointing, but I could live. But the pizza itself though? Extremely garlicy (yay), but also soggy, wet, and doughy. I've never had a pizza I could say was "wet". Greasy? Sure, but wet? The chicken was extremely dry, too. Wet and dry are not mouth textures that go together. I've never thrown a pizza away until tonight, but eating food that you can only describe as "gloopy" is a terrible experience. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese for $5.99. Received an incredibly tiny cup filled about half way up. Not only does it come in the smallest possible container, but you can't even be bothered to fill it all the way? Mac and cheese isn't expensive to make. It tasted pretty good at least, so I can't fault the quality, but for $5.99 the portion size is almost insanely small. Also ordered a double cheeseburger for my roommate. He enjoyed the burger, but for $8.49 it doesn't come with a side of fries or chips. Absolutely delicious! First time trying their gyro and fries and it was great. The gyro is huge and way bigger than expected. Lots of meat and toppings. The fries were also seasoned very nicely and a good amount. Will definitely order again when craving gyros. read more

Food unfortunately was tasteless to include both buffalo chicken salad, mild buffalo wings although they did accommodate for all flats.

I am very disappointed with my order for the following reasons;1) My order arrived way after the 45min window and I was told that it was because of the holiday. 2) My food arrived cold and the condiments I asked for was totally wrong after I repeated what i wanted on it at least 3 times..3) The bread on my burger was hard and stale. 4)The reason for the food being late by the driver did not match what I was told by management. 5) I had to request compensation rather than being offered 5) The compensation offered 20% on my nest order which is not satisfactory. Especially since I don't plan on ordering from any ot their establishment again. I just do not feel valued as customer. i WOULD BE WILLING TO GIVE THEM CHANCE IN THE FAR FAR FAR FUTURE. I asked around the neighborhood about a good pizza place, & my friend told me to try Paisano's. So, since I hadn't had pizza in almost 3 years, & I love it, I decided to try. Drove to the nearest one, which was in a street mall, near "Mom's" in Woodbridge, VA, & ordered a medium (leftovers are always yummy!) with extra mushrooms, & fresh tomato pizza pie. No one else was in the store, so I just waited & read awhile. Took the puppy home (1 mile away) intending to feast on great pizza finally!!! Sadly, when I opened the box, first thing I noticed was all the red sauce and toppings were in about a 4-5" circle in the middle of the dough. Second, I noticed that I had *very* few mushrooms for a regular order, much less having paid extra for additional mushrooms. Third, the mushrooms were canned and I think they forgot to drain them, because the pizza looked like it was waterlogged! So, for $15.00, I got an outstandingly lousy pizza experience, with no leftovers to save! Needless to say, I'm *still* looking for a decent pizza like I *always* got in California and Arizona. read more

The pizza was great. So was the delivery person but whoever took my order did not listen. I told them exactly what to tell the driver so she could locate us, that clearly was not passed on. The driver could not find us. I also gave the lady my cell number but my work phone number was given. Yes I made the order from my desk phone but I gave the caller my cell phone number. I'm so not impressed. Food is expensive here compared to other similar shops and they're within 2 miles of Tony's. Pizza is so-so. About in between a chain and a bonafide pizzeria. Subs are nothing to write home about and there is STIFF competition for cheese steaks near here in Old Town. Staff are nice, so I give em two stars for effort. When we were here in this trip, there was a hella funky stench coming from inside, like a sewer backed up. I just couldn't. My wife ordered a Philly and I headed to Bonchon. This is what pizza should be. You see pizza in cartoons and the melted cheese sticks to the edges of the other slices and its smell can lift characters off the ground and float towards it with its enticing scent. Every element is delicious. The cheese is fantastic, the crust has a great taste and is seasoned perfectly, and I always get onion topping, and they are delicious tasty onions. And when you put on X-tra or XX-tra, they really out on extra. The price is great too. It's easily the best pizza in town. read more

I've ordered here more than a few times. The garlic spaghetti is delicious, the staff is very nice and helpful. But don't order the spaghetti for delivery, because it seems corporate decided to go cheap on the containers and ever since I get a mess in the bag along with my dinner. When I want pizza, I usually order from Paisanos. I don't care for really thick oily crust and tend to enjoy the NY thin crust style more. Paisanos is pretty quick to deliver a tasty pie, whether it be the normal red sauce with my favorite, onion and sausage... or the garlic lovers white pizza that will keep the vampires away for a week. The gyro salad (sans the olives and banana peppers) is one of my favorite things to order. They serve it with taziki and their house made creamy Italian dressing. (The Italian dressing here is unlike anything I've had elsewhere, it's amazing.) The subs here are pretty solid, the steak and cheese is far from Philly but it's better than most of the options around here. They offer super quick delivery and there are multiple locations around NoVa so you're bound to be in the delivery area of one of them! read more

The pizza is about as meh as you could imagine. It is the typical mediocre style that plagues this area.

I can only speak for this particular one but it's so good it's become a weekly staple for us. Kids love the spaghetti, ravioli, or meatballs, and we're always happy with the pizza. But ask for yogurt sauce on the side otherwise it'll be all over your gyro. The zeppolis are good too! read more

This is a new Paisanos location and I decided to give it a try. I've been to Paisanos in Centreville and thought it was good but out of the way for me. I ordered the chicken parm sub platter which included fries. You could tell the employees were still learning and trying to figure out how to serve customers and use the cash registers. The sub was good but the fries were not good at all. The fries were fresh and hot but they were soggy and did not have a good flavor. The sub had lots of cheese and the marinara sauce had a good flavor. One of the employees was friendly the other was not. You should give this place a try but skip the fries. read more

This chain deserves credit for being a cut above the rest. Many national chains offer pizza and derivatives that lack freshness and substitute dried powdered garlic, salt, and dipping sauces. Paisanos pizza has a fresh tomato taste, rich cheese, and better quality toppings. In addition to their pizza, they have proper Italian entrees such as lasagna, chicken alfredo, and chicken parm. They also offer a variety of fried appetizers, and healthy salads, which by my sampling have all been good. The only negative I can think of is that though their pizza, calzones, etc. are great, there are a few hole in the wall local places that are better. If comparing Paisanos to a national chain, they are hands down better, if comparing to a few particular local places the breadth of their menu might be the deciding factor. One additional positive is that if you are ordering pizza while watching a game, you can order beer from them as well, which is helpful if you don't want to miss a couple innings or a quarter to make a beer run. read more
