We come here weekly, usually Friday evenings, for pizza family nights. The food is always fresh and very good. Best pizza that we can compare to NJ/NY pizza, since we are from there. I get a range price. The girl at the register lacks connecting with the customer even when told it's one's first time there. 2 The Pizza compared to actual NY Pizza. (Don't claim it if it ain't it!!) (1/10) Far reach!!. Order -- Pepperoni Slice and Sicilian Slice Look -- The slices are much smaller than a true NY style pizza. You can tell the slices aren't that hot. It cooled down after two bites. Taste -- Not NY flavor. Both slices lack greatly. The sauce tastes like water, no real flavor even with garlic added. The dough flavorless and just blah! The Sicilian was missing that first bite crunch. Wasn't that hot. Time to get Food -- It took just shy of 10 minutes to get my food for 2 slices!! It wasn't even real hot. They forgot the pepperoni on the Sicilian slice so they put it in after the fact and it was not good. Cold and it looks cold. Atmosphere -- Not welcoming. Typical old style attempt at an Italian pizza joint. 3 Overall Rating (1/10) Manassas you are being had by believing THIS stuff is NY Pizza. I have only tried their cheese, pepperoni, and the Vinny's special NY pizza. They're not bad pizzas, but they're also not the best. I've lived in NY and obviously these cannot compare to what you get in NY, but these are NOT the crispy thin crust NY pizza you're looking for in NOVA. The cheese slice was almost flavorless, same with the pepperoni, and the Vinny's Special did not use fresh ingredients (either canned or pre-cooked veggies). The crust: not crispy, and a bit too much dough for it being thin crust. Ngl I've had better Papa Johns pizza than this place. For a local spot, sure it's not a bad place to dine in for family dinner. But if you're looking to itch your craving for a NY thin crust pizza, this place is not it. read more

I'm very relieved to have found this place. It's closer than the other Tony's New York Pizza around town and even more delicious. We have had Tony's about 10 or 11 times since we moved here and they have been super consistent, fresh and delicious. I'm super picky about pizza and Italian food in general after working in Italian restaurants for years when I was younger. Their NY style pizza is very tasty, but their Focaccia pizza is definitely worth trying out. I have had Sicilian pizza before but this is something special. We had it with fresh mushrooms and sausage for the first time. Tonight we had it with pepperoni and sausage and it was by far, one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Yeah so also, it's a huge, square pizza (if you are not familiar with it, and it's super filling!). I love the square slices like my old pizzeria's used to do, (you tend not to eat as much so that's a huge bonus). The other dishes that we have had multiple times are the antipasto, a very fresh and flavorful salad almost overflowing with beautifully ripe veggies and loaded with Fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, roasted peppers, hot peppers, sliced radishes, carrots, cucumbers, onions, mushrooms, olives, ham, salami, and provolone cheese. It was so delicious served with the house dressing (olive oil and red wine vinaigrette). This was served with garlic bread. Yum. Next have been the calzone with spinach and cheese -- so delicious, filling and perfectly cooked. We also have had the Italian cold cut sub, turkey and cheese, meatball and chicken parmigiana. The calzones and Stromboli's always come out cooked perfectly. A lot of other places leave the cheese only partially melted on the inside and you end up having to finish cooking them in the oven. The NY style, thin crust pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese is always a perfect option, (we have some picky eaters), and they totally loved it. And at last, what should've been mentioned first was the garlic bread with cheese. Very cheesy and delish. We've eaten from here so many times now that they know me when I call. That's super nice. I enjoy the fact that there are a lot of booths in you dine in. It's very relaxed and comfy. You just can't go wrong with the place. read more

My husband and I have ordered from Vinny's 3 times now and it's awesome! Super authentic food and great service. We've gotten take out each time but the order is always straight out of the oven. Today we got the large wings which the buffalo sauce and ranch are both delicious. They put both sauces on the side which is much appreciated because their wings have the best crispy skin I've ever had at a pizza place!! We just discovered this place very recently and we are annoyed that we didn't visit this place sooner. The place looks aged but well-maintained and clean. We ordered two NY style pizzas - Pepperoni and Vegetarian. We also got a Greek Salad, two types of soup, fried ravioli, wings, tiramisu, and cheesecake. For newbies: order and pick up at the counter. Pizza seasonings are near the counter as well. Everything we had was amazing: my date loved the wings (they serve authentic buffalo sauce) and salad (also authentic Greek salad), I enjoyed the soup and the pizza was delicious. I ordered a Stromboli tonight as a quick dinner option. I ordered mine with Ham, spinach, mushroom & black olive. I drove over about 15 minutes later & it was hot & ready to go! You could smell the lovely yeasty aroma from the freshly made dough. There was a nice container of savory sweet marinara dipping sauce that was fabulous. The Stromboli had plenty of all ingredients wrapped in a lovely blanket of melted mozzarella cheese. It was delicious! The interior is large & clean with several sections of booth seating. There were a generous amount of menu selections & they had at least 4 different types of slices available for purchase. I did not use the bathrooms bc I was grabbing takeout. I didn't hear any music piped over the PA system but they were close to closing. The interior was nicely decorated in a typical Italian pizza parlor type memorabilia in a predominant theme of green, red & white colors. I noticed other Yelp complaints about the balding man behind the counter being grumpy but to me he just seemed like a quiet type & he looked very tired. He was perfectly accommodating & nice to me. Unless someone is blatantly rude to you, I would be careful about rushing to judgement about them. They could be just really tired or they could have other things going on in their life. I have been eating here for over 25 years. It was the first place I ordered food when I first came to town and still remember how great the veal parmigiana sub was back when Sal ran the restaurant. Vinny is the new owner and I met him last time I was in. Food and service are always great. Last night I tried something new. I had seen the tri colore Sicilian pizza on display where you can order by the slice. It's not really on the menu but it looked so good I ordered a whole tray to bring home. Sicilian pizza with pesto, red sauce and Alfredo/ cheese. What's not to love. It was amazing. Great balance to the sauces. The thick crust holds up to all the sauce and if you can't decide which sauce you want, this allows you to get all 3. 12 huge slices. We had plenty left over and it was still awesome cold today. Vinny has added some new specials and the arancini were incredible as well. They also sell authentic Italian Nutella which is a little different from the American version so I always grab a jar as well to bring home. Still one of my go to Italian restaurants in Manassas where I know I'll always get a great meal. read more
