First! The theme of the place was cool, with the photos of all the celebs that pass through the place! The service of the lady that attended me that day was nice and the made the pizza in a timely manner. The pizza itself though was actually one of my favorite of that day (Pizza Tour)! The sauce was really good and the dough was really tasty! Really good portion in my opinion!
This is my second time coming to Joe's NYC Pizza in Wynwood with friends after a night out, and every single time it hits the spot Being from NYC, I can honestly say this is the closest thing you're going to get to a real NY slice in Miami. Hot, delicious, perfectly cheesy, and the best part? They have all the toppings and seasonings laid out on the table ready for you to dress up your slice exactly how you want it. I had the spinach slice and the pepperoni slice, and both were 10/10. The vibe is casual, quick, and exactly what you need after being out all night. Me and my friends were definitely happy campers by the end of it Highly recommend if you're craving authentic NY-style pizza in Miami.
I went to Joe's Pizza on May 9th because I was in the Miami area and wanted some pizza. It was a nice warm night, and everyone was outside walking. There were a lot of people inside, as the pizza place is small. You can eat inside, outside patio, or choose a food delivery option. I was recommended Joe's Pizza since it's very popular in Miami. It was a very busy night there. I ordered two cheese pizzas, and didn't wait too long for the food. What I didn't like was that my pizzas were left in the oven too long. The crust was burnt, and I wasn't the only customer who had burnt crust on their pizzas. Overall, it was just an okay Miami pizza place.
Wow! New York style pizza from Joe's in Miami. What a treat ! While we were walking the Wynnwood Walls area we spotted this Gem. Upon entry you knew you had stumbled into something special. The walls were covered with famous celebrities with the orginal owner Joe. We order the thin crust Pepperoni and Caprese Style both we absolutely delicious with a subtle crackle each bite the texture was smooth and had just a touch of char to it , as good a bite I've had anywhere. Really made the day out one to remember.
Do you know that feeling, you eat somewhere, and the next day all you can think about is going back for more? That is how we feel about Joe's. Mind you, I am from Jersey (NJ) and set a high bar when it comes to pizza. We went here after an awesome Shakira concert in downtown Miami, and it hit the spot. The Sicilian was perfect! Thick, fluffy, with that slightly burnt cheese on the edges. The regular pizza pies were just the right level of crustiness on the bottom. You could eat it folded if you prefer or flat. Top this all off with a cool Miami neighborhood that has a revitalized vibe. Go try yourself! Thank you Joe's Pizza for bringing me back home with your culinary excellence.
I've been to the original location in NYC, lived it, and this one one delivers as well. Authentic, cheap, and really feels like NYC. Can't go wrong with this place. Get a mozzarella slice, I think the best (but they're all good).
If you're craving authentic New York-style pizza in Miami, definitely check out Joe's Pizza in Wynwood. The slices have that classic NY taste with a thin, crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and the perfect foldable slice that reminds you of grabbing pizza in Manhattan. For being in the heart of Wynwood, the prices honestly weren't too bad either. Great spot for a quick bite while exploring the area, and definitely one of the better pizza spots in Miami for true NY pizza lovers.
Was in Wynwood and decided to try the famous Joe's pizza and walked away a little underwhelmed. The sausage and pepperoni slice was soggy, greasy and I could not pick up the slice to eat it it was so soggy. The back half was better. The cheese slice was dry and nothing to write home about. They do a very brisk business there and the pizza is definitely acceptable but nowhere near the legendary status people think they have. At seven dollars a slice it should be a lot better. Nonetheless it was decent and I would probably go back if I wanted pizza and I was in the area
Excellent perfect white pizza cheese cooked it was delivered pretty quickly. I use Uber eats and it was a good shape. No problems with it. Nice and hot. don't have anything much to say I didn't have anything else but the pizza.
We walked by on a Saturday before noon to get ice cream for my grandson two doors down. The smell of the pizza was just too much to pass up. We went back and ordered a couple of slices, one regular one Sicilian. My favorite was the regular, the perfect amount of sauce and cheese and crispness on the bottom and crust. I also liked that the prices are not typical of Winwood either. Took me back to when I was a child in NY and I would stop to get a slice most days after school. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. Will absolutely be back!!
Very chewy cheese and pricey. I wasn't please. I'd have to try it again before ruling it completely out. Apparently the locals love it, the door was continuous revolving.
Joe's is always busy, always with a great buzz in and out of the shop. I always wondered what it was like or why there was such a buzz. I heard from many that they sold pizza from slice and that it was reasonable, especially for Miami/Wynwood and so finally for lunch, I decided to try. My husband and I popped in on a Sunday and it was busy but the team had the hot pizza's coming. The space inside is really small but they have casual seating, first come first serve, and it's really meant to be a pizza shop where you eat and go. We tried 4 different types of pizzas and our favorite was the pepperoni and the cheese! Loved this casual, quick, lunch spot!
Tried Joe's today was in the area. Service was great. Ordered 2 slices of plain pie. Pizza had excellent crunch and was cooked to my liking. Nice and thin ny slice. The only problem I had was that it wasn't very flavorful. I would go again to try another one. Overall very good

Great late night food option! Needed some food after a night at puttery and I'm so glad we tried this spot! There wasn't a long line or wait, which was nice, despite it being pretty busy. The pizza was a great end to the night. The cheese pizza was tasty! And of course only con of eating a red sauce pizza is it will end up on the white clothes you wear (lol beware). I would definitely come back. Only con is they do not serve any alcohol! read more

Came here because we heard great things but honestly the bathrooms and the eating area were a hot mess. It was not busy for the amount of left over trash, video only shows one side of the place but the other half was as bad. I would understand if it was 1am and drunk people everywhere but not the case it was 430pm and pretty empty place. read more

Well...I finally got a chance to drop in at Joe's Pizza in Wynwood....and let me tell you something....This pizza lives up to the hype and fame of Joe'sNever had a slice of pizza that was so consistent with its crispy crust from the front of the slice all the way to back that is a feat that is hard to find in any homemade pizza. Joe's pizza is King Of Miami !!!! Hands Down!!! read more
I'm honestly gifting an extra star on this review. NY looking pizza with no flavor and too much sauce. Ordered a plain pie and the sauce overpowered all other flavors. I had to pour a ton of crushed red pepper flakes and some oregano and still mostly tasted the pizza sauce. The dough wasn't that good either, kind of rubbery texture, had to throw it in the oven for 10 minutes to actually cook it. There is some "good" I guess: the size is pretty big but at almost $30 a pie, it's not worth it due to the lack of flavor. read more
One word: DELICIOUS! this has become our favorite pizza spot. It's always fresh and nonetheless amazing. The staff always seem jolly which makes the experience great! I really enjoyed Joe's Pizza. My friends and I wore in Wynwood area really late and were looking for something to eat. Joe's didn't let us down. I will say there wasn't much that made them super special from other pizza spots I been to in miami but the restaurant was clean and hearing that it was based on the same pizza spot from the one in spider man was cool. read more
Not much to say. Place looks and taste like a real nyc pizza joint. Can get it by the slice or the pie. One of the if not best pizzas you can get in south florida. Though it looks delicious. Would advise you to let it cool down a bit or else you'll burn the roof of your mouth. read more

Ordered a pizza via DoorDash and it arrived fast and hot. The quality of the dough and toppings was great. The cheese and toppings slid off too easily when you picked up a slice and there was a lot of moisture, so I think next time I'll ask for it well done to see if that helps. Food: good, hot, huge pizza slices (once they started to cool the crust got a little tough.) $4 cheese slice and $5 one topping slices Service: fast, friendly, enthusiastic! Fit the Friday night n Miami vibe! Ambiance: small space with outdoor seating and indoor seating. Pretty hectic on a Friday night but there were families, gen zers, gen xers, and millennials all enjoy pizza in a very busy, very loud space. Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! I needed a lot of pizzas, so I called not knowing what to expect. The person taking the order was very accommodating and pleasant taking my order. I came before she told me it would be ready, and she kept me informed of how much longer it would take. When it was done, they helped carry it out to the car for me. I acquired pepperoni, cheese, and margarita. Overall, I enjoyed the cheese the most. The sauce had a slightly sweet taste to it. The crust had a great crunch to it, but it did have a little flop. Overall, I was impressed with the service as well as the quality of the pizza. read more

We had Joe's in NYC and then decided to try it in our hometown of Miami. And not to toot our city's own horn, but Miami Joe's has NYC Joe's beat, hands down. When people say Miami is the new NYC I always tend to squirm a little, no offense to anyone from New York City . With that said, Miami IS giving NYC a run for its money, especially when it comes to the foodie scene. And this Joe's Pizza just proves the old saying true: " there's no place like home." I've been back a second time since this original photo was taken and the pizza was just as good. Btw: Miami Joe's offers sprinkled Parmesan and Red Pepper flakes while NYC Joe's only offered sprinkled oregano and Pizza Salt (?) . There is also better seating options available at the Miami location, as well. Not to mention the customer service is a little more friendly, no offense again New Yorkers. You'll still find all the photos of celebrities lining the walls like the Joe's of NYC and I'm pretty sure they're using the same recipe, but for some reason Miami Joe's just does it better, at least for me. read more
It was a Monday night in Miami, and my friend and I had just walked over here from a local LGBTQ+ friendly bar nearby. We were super hungry and wanted to just order and pizza for takeout and then would Uber back to her place. The staff was friendly and we were able to order a pizza that had different toppings on both sides so that my friend and I could both enjoy different flavors. It's a huge pizza so we definitely had leftovers for the next day. I'm not usually a big NY-style pizza (I prefer California thin crust or Detroit-style usually), but this one was excellent! We went here for lunch after the Balloon Museum. It was a typical NYC style pizza diner. The pizza was delicious. My husband had the mozzarella (caprese without spinach?) and I had "supreme" which was pepperoni, Italian sausage, onions. The seating was small but typical for a pizzeria like this. There were two round tables with high stools and counter space on the perimeter, and a couple tables outside. I was surprised at how many people it fit though. The wall was adorned with pictures of celebrities who have eaten there. For those who think it's important, the bathrooms were pretty clean! Two unisex bathrooms decorated inside with graffiti. Everyone that worked there was busy but friendly. read more

This is a pizza-by-the-slice, quick in-and-out pizza experience where they heat up the slice. You can, of course, order an entire pizza and pick it up, but that's not really this place's strength. I had 3 slices, the regular cheese, the caprese, and the white pie. The regular cheese was the best. The crust was nearly perfect. I have had the one from Joe's in NYC and this is very close, but not exactly the same. I'd say it's 85% of the one in NY, but that still good enough to make this one of my favorite pizzas in Miami. Honestly, why overpay so much for a slice at Miami Slice when this is so good? That said, I do think Miami slice makes a better pizza for A LOT more money. read more
Really yummy New York style pizza! If you want to grab a quick slice after a night out or for a snack, this is definitely the place! The slices are huge so 1 or 2 is enough. The crust is thin and crispy and the cheese is perfect. They have several different types, but my personal favorite is the classic cheese. Great to dine in (you should eat it hot!) or take out! New York pizza in Miami yes, yes, yes. If you haven't ever tried Joe's Pizza from New York, you can try it if you are in Miami. I bookmarked this place on Yelp because I miss this New York Pizza and haven't been to New York since 2020. I got a vegetable slice pizza and one slice is good for me even though I want two that would just be too much. The slices are cut super large and they have different already-made pizzas that you can order. The guys running it here are fast and reheating the pizza just takes a few minutes. When it's hot and you're eating it, that's the best part. You will be so happy after eating this slice of pizza, it's what I would think Heaven is like. read more

Joes pizza is a New York must. When I found out that they had opened one in Miami. I couldn't resist stopping mid day in wynwood. It is easy to locate. As soon as you go in there's a line to order. Very reasonable prices. I went for the cheese. You can grab and go or sit and enjoy your pizza. This spot has some of my fav pizza. I am definitely coming back for the Mozz. Great to curb your pizza craving. Joes is simply the best ! Service was great. Love how it's it's in the middle of wynwood. Pizza was crunchy and just hit the spot. read more
Best pizza Miami! I'm big on pizza and this one is definitely in the 8's (if you follow Portnoy). It's New York style so it's thin and crispy and you can get it by the slice. Be prepared to wait in a line, especially if you go during prime hours. Definitely worth the wait! read more

Stopped in after a Yelp Event nearby. What's better than having Yelp handy to search for a good bite nearby? Having some new Yelp friends be your in person guide. What I truly thought was Joey's, which is another pizza place across the street (no relations), luckily it was not. From the minute we got near I knew from the smell alone this had promise. My momma mia hand was already in full swing. The place was pretty packed which for a Thursday night was a good sign. But as a good pizza shop should they get you in and out quick. A couple of slices and a Mexican coke was my damage. Crust was nice and crisp. Folded just right and very little flop. Not greasy and perfect balance of cheese and sauce. No complaints. Came to grab something quick and the pizza supposed to be very very good. Well..... we ordered two cheese slices I did ask for only one to be extra crispy not both but I don't think he understood me that's fine. The pizza was really good and of if I was in the area I would go again they were really busy and getting busier. There are tables to sit inside they were pretty full we found a corner hi-top to sit at. There are restrooms to use and the service was friendly and quick. Pay parking . read more
Stumbled upon joes pizza before catching my flight back home. I asked ol dude if this was the same joes from NY, apparently it's the exact same. Except this place was alot cleaner and had more pizza slice options. I opted for the supreme (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom). They'll heat it up for you as well. The pizza slice was thin crusted and cheese melted perfectly. All in all good for a quick bite. read more
