To go I couldn't resist taking another pie and Cesar helped make my night by suggesting a half and half of my two favorite white pizzas ! I loved the recommendations, the specials and personally my favorite thing about these pizzas is the crust ! I kicked things off with the meatballs as an appetizer, and wow--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, swimming in a sauce that tastes like it's been perfected over generations. After years of going to their previous locations in Downtown Dadeland and South Miami, I finally made it to their West Kendall location. And, yes, they still deliver the same amazing quality. Everything about this pizza just sings to me. Their pillowy dough, crispy laced edges, and jammy tomato sauce is a perfect marriage. Top that with blazed pepperoni cups and hot honey and I'm in another world. Love the 70's retro future Detroit style atmosphere here. Service was great, staff was friendly. The place was empty when I first got there, but quickly filled up. Glad to see they're still going strong. I wish there was a closer location to me, but maybe it's best to keep it as a special treat! We ordered a Caesar salad and lemon pepper chicken wings to start, and both were flavorful and fresh. If you are a Caesar salad fan like me, you will love it here! So good! The location is tucked away towards the back side of the shopping center on 147th Ave. It's cozy and had bar seating as well as several tables along the back and a couple outside. Not overly noisy but had music playing and a tv on in the background. Service was fast and came with great recommendations, everything on the menu sounded so good. Our server suggested the prosciutto croquetas and we will be back to try them but my bf had a craving for some meatballs and boy did those meatballs hit the spot. A plate of 3 with a dollop of ricotta in the middle and sauce - omg the sauce! They also come with 3 pieces of focaccia bread. The outside was perfectly crunchy while the inside was so soft it was divine! I had a few bites of bread with meatball on top and then I saved some just to dip in the sauce, because what else does one do when there's extra sauce and bread around! Now for the pizza, so many awesome options to choose from - including a large variety of vegan options. We thought we knew what we were having but when I got back from the restroom bf pointed to the table next to us and said we are having that one. I was not upset with this change, the pizza staring back at us was topped with pepperoni, ricotta, banana peppers, red onions and I couldn't wait to meet it properly. It didn't take long, again service was very fast. The edges were toasty, the cheese perfectly melted, every piece had an even amount of pepperoni, ricotta and all other toppings distributed evenly. Wow is all I can say. The sauce, the crunch, the zest in every perfectly curated bite. All in all, this little spot tucked in a shopping mall in Kendall is a must! The service was great! Everyone very attentive. It's a small location, with I believe 8-9 tables and a good number of seats by the bar. Their menu is small but you won't go wrong with anything you choose. If you are worried in trying their hot honey, don't be shy to ask for more or less of it. For dessert I ordered the pistachio tiramisu and it was a huge disappointment, the lady fingers were super hard and there was no coffee flavor to be found. When our go-to pizza joint closed, we went on the hunt for some fire Detroit-style pizza. Finally tried Vice City and they delivered big time. It's a low-key, casual spot but there's nothing understated about the pizza. It was DELICIOUS. Service was excellent, apps and dessert hit the mark, too. From the moment I walked in it was cozy and welcoming! This is a hidden gem in west kendall. We got the fig and brie pizza and Ron Swanson (no banana peppers). We did half and half and split it since it was just two of us. We were so full that we couldn't finish it! The crust was 10/10. So I've tried a couple of pues and all are delicious! The pepperoni gets perfectly crispy which complements the also crispy dough. Add on some hot honey and it's a match made in heaven! I'd also recommend the shrooms pizza with some red pepper flakes, and the Brie & Fig is also quite good as a finisher(it's quite sweet). Food is what I come for and I was more than satisfied. I previously ordered takeout so I knew I liked the pizza - fyi there's a 10% service charge for takeout. We arrived and there was 1 empty 4 person table but they made us wait until a 2 party table finished eating to seat us. They didn't even tell us that's what was going on, we realized it when we stood there for several minutes. Immediately after we sat, a party of 2 came in and were seated at the the 4 person table next to us without wait. The server took quite some time to get to us and was not pleasant at all. We ordered our pizza, ate it (hot, delicious, smelled yummy, and not too much hot honey) and got out of there. The experience was overall not nice. I don't think I would purchase takeout or eat in again due to these experiences. Hopefully their other location has more pleasant staff. read more

I had a "Johnny Cuban," a German lager to drink. I tried the "Roni & Hot Honey" and the "Brie & Fig" pies. The Roni & Hot Honey is made with their O.G Base, Rosa Grande Pepperoni, Mike's Hot Honey, and Calabrian Ranch For Dipping. The Brie & Fig is made with Mozzarella, Brie, Gorgonzola Dolce, Caramelized Onion, Pistachio, and Fig Jam. The dough was thick and fluffy; the crust was crunchy on both. Of the two pies, the Brie & Fig was my favorite because it was different from other pizzas I've had before. The fluffy crust with these toppings was perfect. Their "Crispy Tiramisu" is made with Tiramisu Cream, Cold Brew Liqueur, Kimbo Espresso, and Lady Fingers. Their Tiramisu might be too crispy for my taste; the lady fingers were too dry. Overall, I did enjoy Vice City. The service was attentive, offering suggestions and descriptions of the menu items. I also liked that you could see them making the pies from the tables or the bar. read more

All of my pizza dreams came true when I finally made it to Vice City Pizza! It is about a 45-minute drive for me, but worth every mile. My brother and I went the Saturday after Thanksgiving on the early side for dinner, to hopefully avoid a long wait. We got immediate seating at the bar! The pizza was absolutely amazing. I'm pretty plain when it comes to pizza, so I ordered the O.G. Cheese. The crust was crispy, yet moist, with cheesy edges. Tip: if you want to try more than one variety, they let you do "half and half" pies, so for my other half I did the Brie & Fig to try something 'different.' My brother has more of a gourmet palate, so he did half Shroom / half Ron Swanson and had the roasted bone marrow app. We also shared the fried provolone. May have been overkill with the two pizzas, but I couldn't not try it after seeing it so many times on Instagram! I truly hope I get to return soon! This is absolutely the #1 pizza!! read more

I basically planned a trip out to the Everglades to eat here. This place is amazing - I love this style of pizza. Their meatball appetizer was also awesome. The crust is nice and crispy + cheesy, the pizza is generously topped, and it was truly the perfect pizza. Their menu includes delicious appetizers, including some of my favorites, such as the truffle stracciatella, prosciutto croquettas and Vice Chopped Salad. Also, their pizza options are all amazing, so if its hard to pick one, the good thing is you can do half and half.
