I had a great experience every time I use Joe's taxi service. I find the rates very reasonable for a a taxi service in the state of Maine. Sometimes they get busy and you might have a little wait but it's well worth it and plenty of space for luggage and or grocery bags and very clean interior. The best was the driver's I had on 2 occasions were very nice and doesn't ask a whole bunch of questions. But social if you engage first with an question. Can't speak to their drivers or ride service, because I never got that far. Dispatcher was rude multiple times on the phone, and when I commented about it, politely, she said I should just book with somebody else and hung up. So I booked with someone else. You should too. read more

so I've lived in Rockland for years. im a manager at Lowe's. when I need I use a taxi only to go to work . I usually never need to. but regularly enough. a week ago I got a ride from joes taxi his driver who was his wife explained they took credit now. great. so I had unusual hours at work and left at six I needed to call joes taxi company. when he picked me up and im a good customer I asked if we could stop at nouria gas station literally in the same shopping center and was gonna charge me five dollars for stopping so I could get a coffee for the morning and a pack of cigarettes.his excuse was he took credit carda now. Huh? Well when i said never mind and I probably won't use you again he stopped in the middle of the highway in a four way intersection and kicked me out. Sophomoric little kid. Anyway Reed's taxi is a way better experience far mo reliable and cheaper even if you use a card. 8 dollars from reeds period. joes sucks. read more
