Last minute haircut, needed to return from Covid hair back to pre-Covid hair, and local barbers were booked for the month. In the past, these on the fly cuts have always left me lamenting my life choices, but Sue was able to accommodated me, and actually did a good job to boot. A couple issues I could knit pick, like a choppy transition in the blend, but then she took my hair from 18 inches to 4, which, as a layman, seems the hardest cut, so a lot of grace should be given (though not needed). If I had walked out with the same do as a simple trim, I would call it a solid B+ haircut. Mostly wrote this so I could say cash only/Venmo for payment. My kids have been getting their hair cut by Joe and Bin for a few months now, and they have been telling me to stop cutting my own hair and walk up to the shop. I got done work a little early today, and decided I'd stop into the shop. I walked in, Joe says no problem, have a seat it shouldn't be long. Joe proceeds to introduce himself, and everyone in the shop. You really feel welcome. I didn't even wait a half hour, but it's such a friendly shop, the wait doesn't even matter. Bin cut my hair and shaped my beard. It came out perfect. I watched Joe cut a few guys, and they all left looking razor sharp as well. I highly recommend Joe's shop. Great set of guys and girls here. Everyone is friendly. No appointments, but that is expected when you are getting a quality cut and not rushed in and out like chickens going for slaughter. $15 for a cut and a nice hot straight razor neck trim. This is a barbershop for white people or hispanics... not racist or anything but i asked for a blowout and all i got was lineup plus got cut twice and was charged $23 for a half ass'd job. This place is a gem! Joe is a great guy...interesting and interested. On top of that he gives a great cut! He takes his time and makes sure you get it just how you want it. He doesn't rush you through the chair like a Super-Cuts. It's a true "throwback" barbershop experience. It's also a GREAT place to have a groomsman party before a wedding. After a recommendation from my roommate, I went to Joe's last week for a haircut. I showed up around 4:45 and both seats were taken and both barbers were working. However, Joe immediately introduced himself and told me to take a seat and he'll take me next. I talked to his son a little bit, and then Joe brought me up to take a seat. He did a fantastic job with my hair and asked questions throughout the whole time to make sure the cut was what I wanted. I recommend scheduling an appointment because there are only two chairs in there, but it's a fantastic place. I been going to Joe's for my last 3 cuts and Matt has be doing them and to be honest the last cut I had was probably the best cut I ever had he takes his time and the razor finish makes it feel so fresh when u walk out and they don't rush you to get u out. Most shops have me and out in 10 to 15 mins and make you feel like they just want to rush you to get another person in the chair. Not these guys they make u feel good about spending your money and there one of the cheapest around so if you want to get a great cut you can go to anybody that works there but I would suggest Matt he's a nice guy and works really well on how you want it cut. Short review...this place is fantastic! Customer service is severely lacking in business today. In many cases, I feel like I'm a bother. But that couldn't be further from the truth at Joe's. I was a groomsman in a wedding and the groom treated us all to a fresh haircut and straight razor shave. There were five total guys there. What impressed me most was that Joe did not rush through. He was attentive to each guy...and that made the experience all the better. We basically hung out and enjoyed the experience. Joe fit right in with not only the groomsmen, but the other customers who entered the shop. He has clearly created a culture of camaraderie in his shop. I did not need a hair cut, so I only enjoyed the straight razor shave (a first for me). Joe was a true master of his craft and also was great at educating me about the process (which I found interesting). The shave was an awesome experience and really felt amazing.
