Picked up the car today and the paint had some specs in it, and they said they would wet sand it to get the specs out while I waited. It didn't work. Eric Zamora offered me $50 or $100 discount so he wouldn't have to paint the whole door again. He said the paint had a "Lifetime" guarantee. I said that's fine, I would pay the full amount. Drove the car home and then noticed that the passenger side side view mirror was melted. Literally the paint and plastic was melted.....!!!! So I called them and drove all the way back to the shop and Eric was already gone for the day, but his worker said that they looked at a picture from the front of the car and said they could see a shadow showing that the sideview mirror looked "wavey" Bull crap!!! He said they took the mirror and the door off the front passenger side to do work on the rear passenger side, and that they only put the sideview mirror in the car and that it couldn't have gotten damaged.... I said there is NO WAY that my sideview mirror could get MELTED on the top of it while it was on my car. The plastic and paint are literally melted!!! Car is in great condition except the door that had to be repaired. Now they are saying that the MELTED sideview mirror must have already been like that. No pictures of the sideview mirror damage prior to doing the work. They melted the sideview mirror at the shop. Don't know how or who, but it wasn't melted when I dropped it off....... Every place I have ever been too takes detailed pictures of a car to make sure that this exact thing doesn't happen!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. BEWARE. Dishonest. Go somewhere else.....

For awkward professional furniture such as my electric table, dentist chairs, and movie theatre seats, mobile is the only practical option. How many businesses allow their upholstery to be in disrepair? It's not a very professional look. They also do repairs for autos including camper vans and RV's, leather sofas, and if you have any other material that needs to be fixed you can ask. The owner does a lot of the work herself. She's smart, resourceful, and cares about doing a good job for a fair price. And she has a sense of humor.

And to boot, they do work that no one else would touch. For me, that included a complete rebuild of my 2006 transmission in 2024 in their shop. Yes it was costly but it was not a remanufactured tranny and extended the life of my car. If the engine goes, I'll likely return for an engine rebuild rather than a remanufactured engine. On another day, some basic work that should be simple and easy they seem capable of completely missing the mark. Couple this with their reliance on Metro Motor.com and their BG maintenance recommendations and you have what feels like a very hard sell to get your money. The BG recommendations are like a laundry list of what you MIGHT do to your auto if you had unlimited funds and just wanted to spend freely. There seems to be no rnyme or reason to the recommendations either in milage or elapased time. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying premiusm prices (which Ken's is) for premium work. That's the issue. I feel like it's sometimes worth it and other times not. I've reached the consclusion that they will get my more difficult jobs but routine maintenance will be handled elsewhere. I wonder if over time they have changed ownership or have new sales incentives in place. It's a shame. I really want them to be like The Car Talk guys from Boston and only do what's right.

I took my car here for paint work after somebody sideswiped my parked car in a lot. I had taken my…read moremother's car here before and they did a stellar job on hers. So I assumed mine would be the same. I was not as impressed with the job that they did on my vehicle. For starters, when I originally went in for an estimate, I got a ballpark estimate (I told them I would not hold them to the eyeball estimate they gave me in the parking lot) of around $500-600 and that it was about a 3-day job. I was under the impression by what I was told that they had to remove the bumper and paint the entire thing to get it to match the vehicle since the pant transfer and scratches covered part of the bumper and the front fender. I also received an estimate for my insurance company from another autobody shop, and I also got the impression from them that the bumper would be removed and fully painted. I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday, fully expecting that they would be finished by Friday or so. I waited until Monday to call them. It was at that time that I learned that the vehicle sat for three days and wasn't even assigned to a painter until Friday! I was told that a manager would call me that evening and explain to me why there was a mixup. I never got that call. I called back on Tuesday to explain to them that nobody contacted me on Monday evening. They eventually found a manager to talk to me and they profusely apologized and explained that they would get my vehicle done probably by Wednesday evening. Wednesday morning I got a call advising me that the job was done. I was kind of surprised because I expected it might take them a little bit longer. I wasn't as pressed about getting the vehicle back as I was making sure it was done correctly. So if they had to keep it for a week, I would've been fine with that as long as it was done right. When I arrived at the shop and looked over the paint job, I was not entirely impressed. There were what look like several dings from rocks, and there was even a smudge in the clearcoat, and there was also a line that looked like maybe the metal flake had flipped. When I addressed all of this with them, they pulled it into the shop to have the painter look at it. At that point, the vehicle died. They had to jumpstart it because apparently it sat for three days and I don't know if the lights were left on, or something like that. They cleaned up the front end and showed it to the painter who apparently thought it looked pretty good. When they pulled the vehicle out, the manager came out and discussed with me that my insurance company didn't pay to have the entire bumper painted, but only to have the paint blended in with the fender to match up. I was very shocked to say the least because the check from the insurance company and my deductible combined was approximately $900. I know that's not a lot of money when it comes to body work nowadays, but I would think it would cover the cost of removing the bumper, prepping it, shooting it, and covering it with clearcoat. There was absolutely no body damage anywhere on the car. It was merely a paint job. And I figured with the supplies and the amount of time that they spent painting it, it wouldn't come to $900, especially when I was told it was roughly a $500-600 job and the fact that they didn't even paint the whole thing! The paint work itself was decent, and they are all very nice people working there. But I don't know that I would take my vehicle there again. I was a little disappointed with what actually occurred compared to what I thought was going to happen. Maybe that was my misunderstanding, but I don't believe so.

I've used Top Gun on two separate occasions. the first, my car was involved in an accident and the…read moreneeded to be repainted. the paint quality and application was so poor that the paint bubbled and had to be repainted two more times. Their attention to detail and customer service was also not as to be expected. Recently my car was involved in another collision that was the fault of the other driver. To get the process started for a rental car before liability was assigned, Geico my insurance company insisted I started the claim with them and can be transferred. So I brought my car to the recommended shop and they started the assessment process. Without my knowledge they completely dismantled my car and told me my car was totaled. I drove home 1.5 hours from the accident - no alarms, damage to the tires, etc. Just front end damage. When liability was placed on the other driver, I decided to get my car and get a second opinion and take it to another shop. They threatened that if it was anything but totaled, it was insurance fraud, did not put my car back together to be sent to the other shop, and when a tow truck came to get it, it was insurance fraud parts and the entire front bumper was missing. Needless to say, the other shop fixed it, State Fark paid for the damages, and I will NEVER take my car to Top Gyn Collision again. They are overpriced, work is shotty and I just don't trust them.

Incredibly disappointed by work performed at Top Gun…read more I chose this shop as it was one of Geico's preferred shop (Xpress) I usually look at the reviews and make a decision based on an overall picture but man was I wrong with this shop. After getting into an incident, I had my car towed here and at first everything seemed fine but as my car sat at the shop due delays in parts which I understand was out of their control, I started getting frustrated and lack of transparency became obvious as I kept pushing for a date of when I was going to get my car back. My car was returned to me, without informing me that the window button was not working along with my lcd screen which was not even part of the reason as to why I brought my car into the shop. My TPMS sensors were also not working. In essence, this shop managed to introduced issues that were all electronic related and failed to diagnose them and are now having me deal with insurance to get those issues resolved with the Lexus dealership. They did repair all the physical damage but along the way they don't have qualify people to handle electronic issues so please BEWARE as they are now pushing these issues on to me to handle with insurance and I may be out of thousands due to their incompetence.
