Spent 20 dollars on a shrimp fettuccine and chicken parm it didn't come with a dinner salad or soup so that was kinda disappointing dosnt seem like your getting a great value. Overall my trip to Joey's was pretty good. The food was all pretty good, the garlic knots had a good amount of sauce and tons of flavor, the mozzarella sticks had a crunchy outside and a pleasant cheese inside, and the spaghetti bolognese had a decent amount of flavor with a pretty good meat sauce. The service was pretty solid, our waiter was very nice and even had a laugh with us. The atmosphere of the place was also pretty good, having some nice decor and everyone was quiet. Atmosphere - Very nice. The restaurant has a family/home style feel. There are two large rooms indoors and a large patio dining area with a couple of bocce courts. There are booths and table seating options inside. Service - Excellent. Our server (Trista) was very pleasant and attentive. We never had to ask for anything. Food - Excellent. The menu has lots of options. I had the linguine with marinara sauce with meatballs and sausage (a slight up charge of the second protein). The entree came with garlic knots and a side salad. I'm sure that the knots are very popular, but I would have been much happier with garlic bread or a roll. The side salad was ample and fresh. The marinara sauce was absolutely delicious as were the meatballs. The sausage was cut in slices and were a hot sausage. Overall Value - Excellent! The entree was huge and the price extremely reasonable. You can not go wrong. read more

Just popped in for a nice dinner and when we got the food, I saw that there was a full plate of spaghetti that could feed about 7 people. There was not very much broccoli or chicken that came on top of the meal. Great locally owned restaurant near home! Every time my parents and I come here, we always leave happy and full. Food and service are top notch. The restaurant area has two dining areas and a spacious bar area. At the other end of the location is take out for pizza (longo's) under the same ownership and the regular menu. You can tell the food is homemade. It's divine. My chicken Madison has so much flavor with the Parmesan herb crusted chicken, cheese, and mushrooms. Penne pasta nice and tender. Their side salads are huge! I usually fill up on this and their yummy garlic knot rolls before I get my entree. I know that they have entertainment on some nights, I'm assuming in the bar area. My hubby and I went here for the first time ever, for our anniversary on Halloween. We arrived right in time for happy hour and sat in the cozy back bar area with the raging fireplace. Ashley G. was our server and she was sweet, thorough and prompt. I started out with the happy hour Long Island ice tea, which was made fresh and stiff, not from a mix like most places do. Next we had the caprese salad as an appetizer along with the Cajun grouper bites. Both were excellent. A nice sized side salad and garlic knot rolls arrived shortly after. (the garlic knots are frigging awesome!) For our main course we had the eggplant Parmesan and the Joey's trio. Both were fresh and very authentic tasting. We had to have dessert, of course! The tiramisu was exceptional and the cannoli was great, but I've had better cannoli. Maybe that's the cannoli snob in me talking. Either way, we will absolutely be going back to Joey's! read more

Seems to be a very popular place. Well designed facilities, but I have to tell you my chicken Parmesan was one step below Stouffer's frozen entrée. Not impressed with two small chicken tenders that were breaded with some watery linguine with a very thin sauce. I had a side salad, which was very nice. It would've been better headed. Had some onions. The server couldn't explain their featured HOUSE Italian dressing whether it was a straight vinaigrette, or it was a creamy vinaigrette. He obviously couldn't explain the difference in what they were offering. Member of our party enjoyed their calzone that was well done and well-made. Another member of our party had their traditional spaghetti and meat balls. Apparently it only comes with one because we were up charged $1.50 for a second one. Another member had the super salad with chunks of chicken, which were kind of skimpy and the protein. They seem to want to add a $.69 surcharge if you add cheese to anything. You're asked if you want to add cheese unless you've paid attention to this on the menu you're going to get nailed for the conversation that clearly doesn't present that there is a extra charge for cheese on your Italian made items. Our server clearly was probably a college kid that wasn't well supervised or well trained. The next table had a much better server who was attentive and understood their role. . He never check back after our meals were delivered until it was time to present the check.. Dining at any restaurant includes show. Show is keeping the things that the public don't need to see to themselves. Nice young staff and delicious meals. It is very big once you get in and we sat in the bar area because we prefer the high top tables. Had the chicken floritine and pizza. They provide you with these little garlic balls which were delicious and not saturated in too much garlic butter. We had two baskets! Pizza had a great crust with a nice balance of sauce and toppings. And the drinks are cheap during happy hour! They had trivia going on and it appears to be a local favorite pastime. Finished with the cannoli's which were fresh and plentiful and some of the best tar taramisu we ever tasted. Definitely recommend giving it a try. Every table gets a basket of garlic knots which were yummy. I had a cheese and pepperoni calzone which was cooked to perfection. Nice size, full of ingredients and tasty crust. My husband ordered Joeys Trio, which was lasagna, chicken parm, fettuccini Alfredo and meatballs. When his order came out, it was just barely warm. My guess is that his was ready before mine and his sat while mine was baking. Anyway, we stopped the server and they brought him a whole new meal which was piping hot. Just left from dinner tonight. Can't say too much bad about the food. Not bad but not great either. The purpose of this review is a warning to those who might order their drinks as a "Double". Your drink will be priced as two drinks. A vodka/soda with lime is $5.50. A double is $11.00. We have not seen this type of pricing at an other local establishment we frequent such as Billy's, etc. Any other place does an up-charge for an extra shot of liquor. To us, the biggest problem is that the wait staff does not warn you on this level of pricing. You find out when you get your bill. We spoke to the manager who did a lot of apologetic gestures and shoulder shrugging. Further blaming it on company policy but no offer of working with the cost. So to be sure, if we ever do go back to Joey's, it'll be waters all around hoping they don't charge for the lemon slices. read more
