Outstanding...the best ever..!!! I'm from the bay area and he was right there working on my rentals in Imperial beach..! I spoke with him on the phone and he seemed very pleasant and could understand my concern since I was miles away. I had a family coming in for their vacation and I was shook up knowing my front door locks were jammed and no-one could enter my unit. He was very calming and prompt and very professional... went above and beyond his service as far as programming, and observing the area which was part of the cause of the problem. Joey really helped us out for a condo in Eastlake! The sellers never got the mailbox key from the previous tenants, so we had to get it re-keyed in a hurry for our buyer. Joey got over there as soon as we found out the box location, called and kept us posted along the way, took the agent's payment information over the phone so the buyer wasn't bothered will a bill, and confirmed when it was done. My patio access door was not operational for the past several months. The deadbolt would not lock or open, rather it would just spin and spin. I called a few guys that advertised on the internet and when I described the door and the problem they passed on the checking it out. The door is an Andersen Patio door with a secure three way locking system. I have not used the door in quite a long time due to not being able to find someone to fix it. Then, the other day I was walking home from dropping my daughter to school and I noticed a truck with locksmith ad on the door. I saw someone getting into the car. I introduced myself and my problem to Joey of Joey's Locksmith. He said he could come by in a few minutes to check it out. Sure enough he came by a bit later. He knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem by looking at a similar door in the master bedroom and then taking off the hardware on the broken door. The fix was simple, he realized that there were some loose screws in the lock. Nothing broken and no new parts needed. The door works great now. Joey knew what he was doing. My take away from this experience is that the fix may be simple if the right person looks at it, however, if someone who doesn't know what they are doing looks at the problem a lot of time, money and effort may be wasted. Our mail lock broke and had been broken for a couple of days. Found Joey online, saw the previous reviews on Yelp so I gave Joey a call. Answered right away and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Was at my house within 20mins!! Mailbox lock replaced within another 15mins. Crazy fast/efficient but never felt like he was rushing off thinking of the next customer.
