Now I'll drive from the south east into the north west about 40 minutes just to get fresh fish I'm going there for so long I know how great the fish is and how fresh again how honest she is which is so important when you're buying food let alone fish!! I love everything that is great about this little fish store is it's tiny and all they sell is fish. I get about 15 to 20 pieces of fish she puts it in a plastic that is sealed and I can keep it three months in the freezer I could go on but I won't, it's late I'm tired and I have to go to sleep however.... just know everything is fantastic about this place!!

I wasn't expecting the fried rice at the end to come with it like in Korea which was also really good. The only critique I have regarding the food is that there weren't that many side dishes (banchan) and the lettuce on the side was an extra $5. Service was on point. It is located in the suburbs and a bit far from the actual Calgary Chinatown, but it came with ample parking and prices with the high quality food were simply unbeatable (Small: 5.95, Medium: 6.75, Large: 7.35 CAD). No carts, but dim sum is served all the way up to 3pm. We came just before 2pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant was huge and very easy-going at this particular time. We ordered the classics off a paper slip -- shrimp rice roll, siumai, har gow, turnip cake, ham sui gok, etc. -- and were blown away at the portion size which were on the larger end of the spectrum. They certainly do not skimp on the filling. For instance, the siumai and har gow contained very plumply-sized shrimp. Flavor was spot on as well. The hot tea was complimentary which is unusual from my parts. When we finished ordering, they even brought out a complimentary dessert which was a slightly sweet agar type thing. What a great end to a short and sweet visit to Calgary! We even had so much food to take back through airport security. The parents were much pleased with the leftovers.
