Beyond disappointed. I was loyal for 4 years and during the time I recommended so many friends and family to her because we hold spiritual beliefs and that follow a holistic approach to our health. I experienced an ugly separation that Involved domestic violence. My ex husband continues to use our daughter to attack me and my spiritual beliefs and she has been supportive of his actions by giving him appointments without my knowledge. This has happened TWICE now. This has been extremely disappointing and hurtful. It's so disrespectful towards me, as her mother, and disrespectful towards my child's body. Since my daughter got vaccines she has been congested Non stop!!! Dr. Jofili has been the biggest blessing for our infant son!! We brought our son to Dr. Jofili when he was 5 months old after seeing that he was having systemic skin issues that looked to be eczema. Simply outstanding is the summary I have for Dr Jofili. She has been the pediatrician for my 4 year old son since birth and I feel beyond blessed to have had her gentle care and expert guidance for him and us. She is head and shoulders above her peers, I know this because having recently moved to Ojai and searched extensively for a local pediatrician for our newborn, absolutely no-one measures up to Dr Jofili. So much so, we decided to keep her as the primary for our son and travel to LA as and when needed. Her blend of traditional medicine with a wealth of natural wellness and homeopathic treatment knowledge is fantastic. She always has time to dive deep on topics I am unsure of, or want more information on and everything feels like a health and wellbeing partnership not a doctor/patient dictatorship (which sadly is all too common). The annual fee to be part of her concierge practice is well worth it. It has always seemed to me that the fee simply replaces the payments usually received by Doctors from pharmaceutical companies for pushing unnecessary drugs and low quality vaccines - she does not do this. We are so grateful for Dr. Jofili and the amazingly thoughtful care that she has provided to my 5 yo daughter in the last year. We found Dr. Jofili through the Functional Medicine community as we needed to find out why my daughter was having chronic stomach discomfort (not just treat symptoms). We drove over an hour to see Dr. Jofili for the first visit and have since been using telehealth. She utilized a comprehensive history taking and tests to find that my daughter had parasites, factors deficient in her microbiome, & other vitamin deficiencies that needed to be addressed. These tests pick up on factors that conventional medicine ignores. She identified what supplements would support my child's gut health. After using these more natural supplements & avoiding certain foods, my daughter has been doing so well & no longer complains of discomfort. We are continuing to explore the gluten and other food sensitivities to see whether there are some foods that she can resume. Dr. Jofili takes the time to really examine the child's history and the multiple factors that may be affecting the presenting symptoms. Although we're sorry that she had to learn about these approaches through her own health challenges & the experience of raising her own children, we're so happy that this experience took her down the path of functional medicine so she can treat her patients especially those with presentations that conventional medicine finds hard to address.
