I usually don't like to write any negative reviews but I just really want other people to be aware. First off, the girl at the front desk is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY RUDE. How she still has that job, I have no clue!!! She has a horrible attitude (this is an understatement). Hangs up on you without saying thank you or even a simple BYE!!! She should NOT be working there with that rotten A** attitude. Never ever have I experienced such HORRIBLE patient treatment. My feeling is that she is either related to someone there or has some kind of connection. That isn't even it. My very first visit with Dr. Julie was pleasant. She was welcoming and I had a good vibe from her. After that, it just went downhill. They overbook and each visit I'm waiting at LEAST 45 minutes. Once I see her, she rushes the appointment and I literally only see her for MAX 5 minutes. Such bad practice. I understand it gets busy but don't overbook! No wonder there's always availability. I'm glad I no longer take my kids there. I've always sucked it up, grinned and beared it but for the sake of my children, I can no longer receive this horrible treatment. read more

She always remembers them and my oldest always refers to her as Dr Julie :) Jenny in the office is also wonderful, she has been so helpful with insurance and referral issues I've had and is always so lovely if I call. She gets how frustrating it is with insurances and really is on your side! They will usually get you seen the same day if you call in and that is so reassuring with little ones as they can become sick really fast and accidents happen. My children have been patients of "Doctor Julie" since my oldest (now 16 y.o.) was four days old. Dr. Julie is just the kind of pediatrician you'd want for your kids . . . kind, knowledgable, upbeat and VERY VERY caring. She has never missed a step with us, whether it be having a nurse (go Gladys!) who can administer nearly pain-free shots, a staff that can turn around all those forms you need for school, camp and other activities in a fast and friendly manner, or having the spot-on recommendation for additional medical/developmental professionals should your child need additional outside assistance. Doctor Julie's office (which she shares with four or five other doctors) is always spotless, and each examination room is clean and well-prepped for each visit. Her building's parking lot is large, never full, and free. On the occasion that Dr. Julie is away, she has always provided the best in stand-in care during her absence - Dr. Andrade (now with the practice) and Dr. Craig have been fantastic. I'm not one to leave reviews but My daughter just had her physical and I was so impressed that I felt I had to share. She is now 15 and has been coming to Dr. Douglass since birth. Typical teenager dislikes appointments but was happy to go in and see the doctor and say hello to the staff. She was actually excited to share her hobbies and update them and have them see how she's grown up. Made me happy to see how comfortable she was and how they are like family to her and are invested that she is healthy and happy. Always easy to schedule appointment, minimal wait in lobby, clean office. Too old for her now but they have great toys/books/ and a playground that she enjoyed when younger. Dr. Douglass and staff have helped us get thru it all -sickness, dislocated shoulder, brocken arm, teenage acne, ear infections, rashes you name it and My girl actually enjoys going to their office, that speaks volumes!!!. If i could give zero stars i would and i will be removing my child from this practice. The office is DIRTY. The restrooms are disgusting the floors are dirty and the walls are as well i would not let my child walk barefoot let alone crawl on those floors or play with the toys in the rooms and definitely not the toys they have in that waiting room. You can tell the Drs here cut corners when it comes to cleanliness and entertainment. I've spent more time in that crowded waiting room than with the Doctor. Dr Douglass is constantly "running behind" and rushes our visit and brushes off any questions my partner and I have. Our last visit there she ran out of our room to tend to her dog who was crying and paraded him around which is not very professional or sanitary in my opinion. The staff looks overwhelmed with patients and are honestly the only reason we've stayed this long. Very accommodating but they should schedule accordingly due to long wait times and the lack of Doctor patient support. It seems to be easier to get an appointment than a call back from Dr Julie. We are definitely not happy and unfortunately will be leaving her office. read more

I called in to have my son check out the receptionist pick up and asked me if it was Medi-Cal or cash I said it's cash, then proceeded to ask me what was wrong with the patient. I told her the symptoms she check with her doctor and the doctor said that she's not willing to do second opinions so I proceeded to tell her that I don't need a second opinion I just need a solution to his cough. Hello to those who are looking to see Dr Juile Douglas. I find that Dr Juile Douglas is not a very good Dr. She is Always rushing to get through the visit an I understand she has other patients but when your a Dr you are suppose to listen to what health problems the patients are having and refer them to the right Dr to address those problems without trying to take care of the issue with words of what to eat and do. Besides the Dr Rushing through your visit it just seems like a money scam for insurance for her to tell you you have to see her to get a referral to a specialist. The problem is we have seen Dr Juile twice about the same problem my daughter is having and each time she just gives words of encouragement... well that has Not worked out an it's to the point now that my daughter is in Severe pain because of what Dr Juile lacks in that area of need. So now she wants us to make another appt to see her again about what we have already been telling her about the ongoing issue. This just seems Wrong to me that we have to see her again for the 3rd time to get a referral for the specialist to take care of this problem that Dr Juile does Not handle in her office. So this to me just seems like an abuse of the insurance system to gain more money at the patients health expense. read more
