The staff are very nice, and the doctors too, but obviously they are being trained by corporate to not accept "no" and I do not feel comfortable going there any longer. The dentists and hygienists are constantly new so you never get the same person. I have been going to this office since I moved here about 13 years ago and Dr. Valencia was amazing but things have not been the same since she left. I walked out after my appointment with total anxiety from the new high pressure tactics and I will not go back.

I was stressed and dealing with a series of other personal things and feeling overwhelmed. From the moment I called I was greeted by Jamie who was so kind, non judgmental about my dental concerns and able to get me in within a couple of hours, even though I had never been there before. Lamar was the dental assistant who helped me when I arrived and really brought my worries and anxiety down with his friendly and engaging personality. Dr. Nav was kind and spotted the issue right away and set me up to come back 2 days later to get a root canal and crown. He let me know everything could be done in only 1 visit as he makes the crowns right there in his office. He made sure I was taking antibiotics leading up to the appointment and I left there feeling like I had made the right choice calling them. I'll admit I was so anxious for the days leading up to the appointment and not feeling great from the infection & some back issues but I was met again by Lamar who once again made the whole ordeal less stressful by really paying attention to what he could do to make me more comfortable and at ease & even offered a pillow for my back that was hurting. I was booked for a 3 hour appointment and expecting the root canal to take at least 1.5-2 hours of that time & dreading every minute but Dr Nav and Lamar were so efficient and worked so well together that it was completed in just an hour! They have all the latest technology & Dr Nav is an excellent dentist. After the procedure I relaxed in the chair while the tooth was made in about 25-30 mins and the fitting took an additional 5-10 mins. I have really bad TMJ and I've never left a dentist chair without a migraine but this time there was only minimal jaw discomfort and no headache whatsoever which is unheard of for me and my dental work history. I was so pleased with the results and the kindness of the staff. If you're looking for a friendly and efficient and skilled dentist I highly recommend Dr Nav & his team at Cameron Park Family Dentistry.

It had been a while and I didn't have a dentist because I had recently ( at the time) moved here. The staff was great, made me feel welcome and Dr. Catron cleaned my teeth while chit chatting and never once made me feel bad or uncomfortable. In fact he complimented my teeth and overall it was a great experience. Once I finally got dental insurance, I decided to come back a few years later-since I had already been here. The hygienist, made me feel absolutely awful. She was friendly at first, but while cleaning my teeth, she seemed very uncomfortable and nervous. She used the word Tenacious about 4 times. I hadn't had a cleaning in a few years and I get that, but Dr. Catron never made me feel like this. I wish I could remember her name, but I hope she remembers the word Tenacious if she ever reads this. A different dentist popped in, took a look cause she was obviously nervous or overwhelmed, and he was almost so non chalant that it turned into such a strange experience. I got outta there with no cavities and heavily considering a deep cleaning but certainly won't be getting it there. I felt so bad after I left, I was super bummed the rest of the day and was shocked at the day vs night two experiences. Took me a few months to write this review, but I want them to know that it takes a lot for me to write a negative review and a thought out review like this but it was totally uncalled for the way she treated me.
