I really like this office and loved my doctor but now I can't go because they no longer take my Delta dental insurance I'm so sad I have been going here for years, they say we can still go but we have to pay out of network and I have insurance I pay for every month so we don't have to pay so much at the dentist, so why do we want to pay on top of that? Jackson Creek Dentistry has state of the art equipment. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Gabbey, RDAEF2 began with the diagnostic x-rays. Dr. Kinzer came in and explained everything in detail. Once he came up with a treatment plan, Susan went over the financial arrangements, so there were no surprises. DELTA DENTAL PPO PATIENTS BEWARE: Just a warning to potential patients that have Delta Dental as their PPO. This Dental Office thinks it is OK to tell Delta Dental Patients that they take Delta Dental Insurance. This is partially true, but you do not get to know that until AFTER your initial exam. This Dental Office IS an "out-of-network provider " for Delta Dental, but why state this up front. I waited several months to get an exam and cleaning at this Dentist. I was obviously told they take Delta Dental Insurance. They took x rays, pics of my mouth, mapping of my teeth and gums etc. The Dentist looked at my teeth etc. and made numerous notes to a dental tech. He told me that all of my "silver fillings" are "leaking" and I should consider getting all of them replaced with some space age composite material this Dental Office offers. The Dentist went into what I would classify as a sales pitch. After a very thorough exam that took about an hour, I remarked that I had never had such a thorough exam. The Dentist replied, "This is what we are taught to do in Dental School and I do not know why other Dentists do not follow what we are taught." The entire process appeared very thorough but I thought about the silver fillings leaking diatribe and figured if my fillings were all "leaking" it would eventually have caused a lot of toothaches. ( I have had my fillings for decades with no problems....but now they are leaking and oh I almost forgot...one of them is "cracked." It all seemed "suspect" to me. I figured my cleaning was next. Oh no. I was finally told my cleaning was on a separate day. I was then taken to a woman named "Star" who told me the bill for today was $308.00. THIS is when I was told that this Dental Office "took" Delta Dental, but Delta Dental was an "out-of-network" dental plan, so how they do things is different than what I am likely used to. "Star" then unfolded that Delta Dental would mail me a check for the services today and I would then pay Jackson Creek Dental. All of this would have been nice to know before this dentist performed any services, but NO. I asked "Star" if Delta Dental was going to pay the full amount for the exam, because it seemed like a lot of money for an exam. "Star" told me she did not know what amount Delta Dental would pay and I would find out when they sent me a check. This again seemed suspect to me as "Star" clearly does billing every work day for this Dental Office. ( I began to get a bad feeling about how this outfit does business) ALL of this seemed "seedy" to me on several fronts. EVERY and I mean EVERY exam and cleaning I have had over the past 30 years has been fully covered by Delta Dental. NOW, Delta Dental is going to mail me a check etc. Again, I should have been told this BEFORE not AFTER the services. On 4/25/2023 I spoke to "Star" again. I explained to "Star" that I had not answered numerous calls from Jackson Creek Dental to come in for a "cleaning" because I was awaiting word from Delta Dental as to what amount they would pay for the "exam." "Star" quickly told me that Delta Dental sent me a check for $142.00 yesterday. She then asked if I preferred a bill to be sent to me. I inquired why the amount Delta was paying was so low and "Star" told me, "You have to ask Delta Dental." Star's tone rapidly shifted from cooperative to "hurried" after saying this to me. My out of pocket cost is $166.00 for an exam due to their business practices. "Star" does her job as a billing agent for Jackson Creek Dental 5 days a week. She knew that Delta Dental was not going to pay the entire "exam" bill when I asked her. Instead of being honest and upfront Star decided to lie to me and go into a diatribe which included "I don't know if Delta Dental will pay the entire "exam" bill or not. Bearing this in mind, Jackson Creek Dental rapidly turned around and attempted to have me come in for a "cleaning." I am positive that would have resulted in me incurring a larger out of pocket cost, but why tell a patient this information upfront and lose money. ( SLIMY!) This Dental Office is not upfront or honest. When anybody has work done on their vehicle or hires a contractor to do work, the entity doing the work is required by law to provide an estimate for the work that is going to be performed. It seems to me Jackson Creek has a "duty" to advise potential patients that they do not take Delta Dental Insurance and therefore they WILL BE required to pay out of pocket for their services. Instead this outfit waited until the end of my appointment, i,e "the exam" and then played stupid with their common response..."Oh, didn't they tell you we do not take Delta Dental?" "Leaking fillings" "Oh, didn't they tell you". " I don't know if Delta will pay in full". "Ask Delta Dental" BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! read more

I broke a tooth that is on the side of my upper teeth and when I smiled you could see it. I broke a large part of it off on the inside and the dentist I was seeing wanted to pull it and put a flipper type thing there and I did not want that. So I went to some different dentist and no one told me it was savable, but I found Dr. Ask on Google when I searched and I called to see if he would see me right away and he did and I love this man because he saved my tooth and got the infection out and is going to put a crown on it and I just need to tell you he is amazing. this is the only dentist group I have ever had that tells you that you must pay and then your insurance will pay you. This is not standard practice and if you have insurance go somewhere else. My wife went for her usual cleaning and was told she had to do this. The other dentists in town do not follow this unusual practice. I stopped going to Dr. Ron Ask at Jackson Creek Dentistry. My experience was always the same, a high pitch sales appointment. I agreed to some of it the work done but not all. I had teeth bonding for cosmetic reasons. I was not told that all the negative aspects of the bonding. All that aside my BIGGEST CONCERN...was the negative way in my opinion, Dr. Ask talked to his assistants. At one point he asked his assistant for a specific tool, she handed it to him and he made a comment to her. She said I did hand it to you. His response was yes...but you were 1.5 seconds too slow. Each time there was bickering going on with every assistant. This is very unprofessional. I do think he is a good Dentist , but I do not want to hear this in a professional business. I felt he was demanding of his staff in a demeaning manner at my appointments. This is my experience with this Dentist and why I discontinued to go to this office. read more

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Tschetter and Dr. Hoye and we see Kristin for recall appointments. We have always reviewed on their wonderful and professional treatment. But this time we would like to comment on the front desk staff! We recently had an estimate for treatment for my husband which turned out to be incorrect and we owed quite a bit more for this treatment. Minutes after we sent in the additional payment someone from the front staff called to let us know they were going to credit us this amount because it was their error. Some offices would have stated "sorry but this was just an estimate" but they reimbursed us this full amount. This review isn't going to be one about the staff or anything like that, rather than that of a wisdom tooth surgery I have gone through under the performance of Dr. Simpson many years ago... While it has been a very long time since the surgery has been done, I distinctly remember one moment where I felt the doctor press on my jaw a little too hard and feeling a pop I have never felt before in my life, it was a bit traumatic so I remember it quite vividly. I didn't know this pop would lead to me developing a pretty severe case of TMJ issues on the left side of my jaw following the surgery. During the time after, my jaw would start to lock in place in the morning and pop extremely painfully from time to time, so I would have to wear a mouthpiece every night to prevent overuse of my jaw to hopefully have it not lock in place. Fast forward to today, these problems have only gotten worse and worse, my jaw is restricted to nearly 60% of its original movement capabilities, I can barely open it wide enough to eat, brushing my teeth is extremely difficult, and because of these ongoing issues, I am in the process of seeking surgical measures in the efforts to fix these issues for good... Tldr: my dentist messed up my jaw during wisdom tooth surgery and now I need surgery to fix it. read more

Every person I've encountered there has been warm, personable, and seems to truly care about your well being. The staff here is so friendly! They all have made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I have never had an ad version to the dentist and I enjoy coming and these guys are awesome! The office is clean and quiet and very comfortable. Under some construction and the only reason you know that is because there are trucks in the parking lot and some rooms blocked off but it hasn't been noisy or irritating at all, at least not for me maybe the staff would disagree. First ever root canal...yeewww. Now I am in the club. Asked around to family and friends, every one has had 1,2 even 5. Yikes... So here's my story....Broke a molar on vacation out of state. Called on route home July 17th, they got me in Friday, July 19th..quick exam..need root canal and crown... Earliest opening Aug 15th.. I was in so much pain, they got me moved to Aug 1st, then called July 25th and scheduled me for the next morning. All went great with Dr Simpson, Jessica and Linda...Britney in finance. The whole staff are very patient friendly, accommodating and take the time to make you feel comfortable and at ease....kudos to them all. I had a new patient exam with Dr. Simpson... he was very thorough... went through everything with me in great detail. He discussed things with me no other dentist had ever brought to my attention before. I had a couple of fillings done two days ago and what a great experience that was from start to finish! When I say there was no pain? I'm serious, there was absolutely no pain. I was completely relaxed the entire time. There is a TV on the ceiling with amazing photography to keep u preoccupied ... Dr. Simpson explains everything he's doing while he's doing it. Usually after a dental procedure there is some discomfort in the injection site or the area that was worked on... I have no pain or sensitivity . I can't tell I had anything done at all. Except of course that my teeth look great! I also had a great experience with my hygienist Tanjia... I would venture to say it was the best cleaning I ever had with a hygienist. She was quick yet very thorough and painless as well. Not to mention she was very sweet and super personable. We were referred by our dentist to get ortho treatment for our 8 year old daughter due to a cross-bite causing another tooth to become loose. After visiting a few different orthodontist for recommendations, Dr. Roda came in the lowest quote and the lowest time commitment by far. Dr. Roda is fantastic. The staff is respectful and yet friendly. Dr. Roda is knowledgeable and caring. For example, Monday afternoon on July 10, I called for an appointment because of an excruciating tooth. Tuesday afternoon I was seen. I needed a root canal for a cracked tooth and had an abscess. Antibiotics were called in to my pharmacy and by Tuesday night I had started them. By Wednesday afternoon, my root canal had been completed and I was so much more comfortable than I had expected. I've been going here since I was a kid. Last week I had a filling fall out and was in horrible pain. I didn't have insurance but I needed to get it filled immediately as I hadn't been able to eat or drink anything since it fell out. I tried to get in and the cost was completely unreasonable and they wouldn't even see me with out the money that day. Dr. J Ask is a sweetheart! Best dentist ever!!! I am phobic and haven't been to the dentist in more than 10 years and went to Dr. Ask with an infected impacted wisdom tooth. Not only was he sympathetic but he was gentle and I'm not afraid of dentists anymore. He even let my husband look at the scary mess in my mouth while he was extracting the tooth. Amazing!!! I was visiting family in the Jackson, Ca area for the Thanksgiving weekend. The crown on my implant came off at dinner. I called around looking for a dentist office that would be open on Friday but found none, so I called the Jackson Dental Creek group's emergency line. Dr. Ask answered the phone on Thanksgiving night, spent time asking me questions and giving me advice, and offered to come in to fix my tooth if it became too painful or uncomfortable. two days later he called to see how i was and if i needed anything. I have to share my joy in having being given a reason to smile again after neglecting my dental needs for so long. I thought i had left things too long and i was never going to smile again with confidence. Then i went to DR RON ASK where i was sure he would give me news that there was not much he could do to give me back my smile THAT SAME DAY. I was so wrong. Dr Ask was incredibly creative and did his "magic" in my mouth and Voila i walked, no..skipped out of his rooms with the biggest smile with teeth where there had been gaps just hours before. Let me just start by saying how much I love our community!! Called Jackson Creek Dental to schedule an appointment for my grandaughter Vanessa, when they were offering the Smiles For Kids program. Rebecca, mentioned that they would have to schedule the children that had no insurance first. And the she would call me back at a later date. AND SHE DID!! So we made an appointment. Best experience I've ever had with any dentist office. Jerhet R Ask, DDS had Vanessa at ease immediately. Through the whole exam, Doctor Jerhet was very professional and comforting.
