**Updated 8/30/26**…read more The Cosmopolitan has definitely made some improvements since our previous stays, and I'm happy to see things moving in a better direction. The integration with MGM has made certain aspects of the stay much more convenient. You can now use the mobile app to check in and out, get your room keys without having to wait in the check-in line, make reservations directly through the app, and charge purchases to your room across multiple MGM properties. That part of the MGM integration is extremely convenient and a definite improvement. However, the MGM Rewards program is still seriously lacking compared to what The Cosmopolitan offered before. It simply doesn't feel anywhere near as rewarding as the old Cosmo program did. One of my biggest issues is that Las Vegas isn't just about gambling. There are plenty of people who come to Vegas specifically for the incredible restaurants, bars, cocktails, entertainment, hotels, and overall experience without having any interest in gambling. Those guests are still spending a significant amount of money throughout MGM properties, and there should be a better rewards structure that recognizes that spending. Overall, The Cosmopolitan itself seems to be improving, and we still absolutely love the property. The added convenience of the MGM app and being able to use benefits across multiple MGM hotels is great. Now MGM just needs to improve the rewards program and find a better way to reward loyal guests who spend their money on dining, drinking, rooms, and experiences rather than at the tables or slot machines.

I was extremely impressed with the price of the package and the quality of hotel we got. The hotel was gorgeous. We got our room right away, before the checked in time. We were happy about that because we were able to freshen up before we explored the city. The room was clean. Our stay at the hotel was great. I felt safe as to go to the rooms, they had security where you had to scan your room key in order to head to the rooms. I also loved how close it was to the main attractions, especially the sphere. The Backstreet Boys terminal was also close. The shoppes and restaurant nearby were amazing, including the Gondola ride. We visited the other hotels but I honestly think this was the best one. I could be biased because I love Venice. The only thing is that we were not able to get a late check out because it was fully booked and when asked the staffed from the check in line for floss, we were directed to the gift shop. We then asked for floss at concierge and they offered to send a dental kit. The dental kit did not have floss but I loved how it was offered. I absolutely loved my stay here and I would stay here if I come to Vegas again.

The only reason we even booked the hotel was because we knew it would be 110 degrees outside in the middle of the day and we didn't want to subject ourselves to that horrific walk to the Sphere. When I asked why it was closed and if there was a shuttle instead, I got no clear explanation and was categorically told we could use a rideshare service (at our own cost). Disappointing customer service.

( I'm a fan....so ) but wait!... the scent as you walk in, very slightly there, and I can't even name it, but it's PERFECT. We got a room facing the strip for the night lights, however the sunrise was the real show stopper. There are some really comfy chairs to sit right at the floor to ceiling window to take it all in ... or you can see it from the comfort of your bed. What was missing was a coffee maker and robes in the room. I like to have a cup when I wake up. We are not big gamblers, more people watchers, so we walked through the casino. I did not notice one cocktail waitress on the floor. Is this a new thing? A few ( and only a few) people had drinks. The bathroom is spacious and has all the things!!! I love a tub in a hotel and this tub is the perfect size and angle to lay your head back for the ultimate soak. There is a tv screen in the mirror for your morning news or music videos.... Or a window shade that can go up or down for privacy or to look directly through the room out to that view I mentioned. Ahhh. If you come, be sure to visit baby cakes ( they're in house sweets shop- conveniently located on your way to the elevators ) for gelato or ultimate baked deliciousness or coffee drinks omg it's dangerous.... Overall, a lovely hotel off the strip ( but close enough) at a great price. We will return!

I went to M for a concert and was greatly disappointed in the whole experience…read more I understand that M is not entirely responsible for every aspect of the concert experience but there are a few things worth mentioning. I'll start with the parking and the way traffic was directed. For this specific concert it was very confusing, and the lack of signage did not help. Getting out of the parking garage was the most difficult and it took about 30 minutes. Also, when the concert was announced online, there was no mention that it would be held at the pool. So this concert was held by the pool in 107° weather and it was not fun at all. I could be wrong about this, but the band only played 1 hour 20 minutes and I think it's because it was so darn hot. And I was not happy about this at all. If I was overheating being in the audience, I can't even imagine how much hotter it was up on stage with the lights, smoke, leather pants... lol. So in the future, if there is a concert held at the M I would make sure to research and make sure that it's not at the pool in summer. So basically, I paid $175 per ticket to go see a band at the pool totally not worth it especially since they only played less than two hours. For those who wanna know I saw Stone Temple Pilots and unfortunately it was not worth my time or money. After this experience, not only will I probably never go to the M resort to see a concert, but I also will never again go and see Stone Temple Pilots. If you're gonna pay almost $200 per ticket and spend three hours of your time preparing and driving there you gotta at least give me two hours of your time for it to be worth what you're charging. The other thing I want to mention is the security guards and customer service staff weren't very efficient in crowd control. People were just gathering right in front of us who paid $175 for their tickets and it took about 30 minutes to get all these clowns out of the way so the rest of us could enjoy the concert. In my personal opinion this might've been one of the worst concerts I've ever been to and it really left a bad taste in my mouth concerning STP. Sadly I believe STP died the day the original front man died. RIP Scott Weiland. You are greatly missed.

The only knock I have is the location, the north end of the strip is pretty dull so there isn't much to do outside of the property that you could walk to.

We didn't wait long for most things. Water, help with directions or reservations were made very easy to obtain which is a plus when you've had a long hot day on the strip. There's a separate check-in area for The Reserve which I really liked. It was not crowded at all. Upon checkin, they gave me a coconut macaroon which was amazing! I did like that special touch. There are separate elevators going to the Reserve Rooms. However, it is still shared with some of the upper floors from Park MGM. I know that other hotels on the strip have separate elevators exclusively for separate parts of the hotel. I really enjoyed my Atelier room. It was a little bit larger than the standard room. The distinguishing factor about this room is really the bathtub in the room. However, the bathtub itself seems to be a liability for the hotel. I have to say that someone can easily slip and fall in the bathtub. Use extreme caution when using the bathtub. I loved the European french decor. The toilet was a little far away from the bed, but I suppose that is good if you are traveling with somone so when they went to the restroom, it would be less noticable (more privacy, less noise). Since they are hardwood floors, I can hear chairs being moved around from the rooms above me during my stay. I was a little bit irked. Other than that, my stay was quite enjoyable at The Reserve.

A nice stay. I…read morestayed at The Reserve at Park MGM for two nights and had a pretty good time. I was not wowed by anything in particular, but I still enjoyed my stay. The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

The most unassuming quaint hotel I've ever witnessed…read more It's easy to think that going to Vegas means you have to stay on The Strip--ease of transportation, proximity to the shows, and the ambiance of "the Las Vegas" experience. However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

Darnisha, the security guard, yelled at and grabbed my girlfriend by the arm because she went behind the rope to give a tip to the dancer. She genuinely didn't know she wasn't allowed to, and I feel she could have shown some compassion before yelling and grabbing her. Shortly after, my mom also went under the rope because she didn't know, and Darnisha yelled at her as well. Later in the night, someone in our group stood on the stool--not on the chair--and Darnisha came over yelling at him to sit down. She pointed at my girlfriend and mom and said, "I already told them to behave, and now him. That's how you get kicked out." Understandably, we were frustrated and started venting among ourselves about how we were being treated. Darnisha then kicked our entire group out. We were having a great time celebrating my mom's birthday, and unfortunately, Darnisha completely ruined the experience for us. Her approach felt unnecessarily aggressive and like she was on a power trip. We will not be returning because of this experience.
