The inept, incompetent customer service phone reps in the Mortgage Department here will cost you hours of your time on the phone correcting their mistakes and driving to the nearest branch to make mortgage payments that are mishandled over the phone. You also get emails threatening late payment penalties & fees after their employees mishandle your checking account number. Bank here if you want your finances messed with and time wasted.

If I could give this outfit NO STARS I would. I have been a member in good standing with Navy…read moreFederal Credit Union since 2020. Six weeks ago I tried to add my 96-year-old mother as a member, and she was denied membership. NFCU's based their denial on the Patriot Act (terrorism). I filed an appeal and re-applied for my mother to become a member and she was denied a second time. Every time I call NFCU they refuse to talk to me about it. This has been going on for the past six weeks. I wrote a letter to the CEO of NFCU, the National Credit Union Association, and the Department of Housing with regard to the denial was unjustified, discriminatory, and violated the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. My mother was trying to become a member so she could apply for a Home Equity Line of Credit on her home. My mother's home is worth two million dollars, she owes nothing to her home, and she has excellent credit. Yet despite my attempts to reach out to everyone, I have heard nothing. I even tried reaching out to broadcast news to see if they would be interested in airing my story, and so far nothing but crickets. What is ironic is despite their website inviting family members to become members they refused my 96-year-old mother. This is proof we live in one of the most dysfunctional societies of our time with absolutely no accountability to obeying the laws of the land. The next step in this process is Chaos.

2020 has been such an unprecedented year - full of uncertainty and disappointment for all of us…read more When I heard about rates declining I started to inquire with banks, credit unions and small shops like Woodbridge about what I could possibly do to refinance my mortgage. After hearing the fees that would have been stuck to me had I gone with banks and my credit union not really offering up much incentive I did ask around my network to see who could help me take advantage. I believe 4 out of the 8 people I asked recommend JR and his son James at Woodbridge. The remaining 4 suggestions were all random so is decided to give Woodbridge a call. I hadn't heard of them before this since I'm in San Francisco but I was pleasantly surprised! I spoke with James first and not only was he incredibly kind (Admittedly I don't know enough about refinancing to hold a solid conversation) by answering my many, many questions but he also provided me scenarios/options I could go down. No one else provided me that. When I decided to go with this firm I worked with both him and JR. The speed in which they were able to lock down the (shockingly) low rate and then complete the process was truly mind blowing!!!! I'm saving so much extra money a month thanks to them. From the start to close of the process took about 3 weeks tops and they were always available to answer questions from both the market perspective but also dumb ones I had! Truly top notch and painless. I can see why they are held in such high regard by my network and I will also be someone who refers them to my friends and family. If you need an alternative to the institution or group you've used before this could be a great option.

I DO NOT RECOMMENDED these hustlers. Oh, and by the way, 2 of the positive Google reviews are from the owners/employees. Biased? Yes! Unethical? FOR SURE! If you have to write your own positive reviews and get none from REAL customers, you know you SUCK!
