I stressed during my interview the importance of health care for both myself and my husband, and was fortunate enough that my prospective employers took me seriously and got right on it. And by getting right on it, I mean that they recruited this man. Eivind and my (now) new employers co-ordinated a meeting where both myself and existing staff members were educated and assisted in setting up the best health care options for our specific needs. I can't say that I now fully understand the complexities of health care in the United States - many aspects will always be way over my head - but from square one I felt completely assured that my best interests were Eivind's best interests. He is a satellite who is representative of several health care providers, and his main focus is working out which option best benefits the client (that's me/you), both in the design of the plan, and financially. He basically takes something that is staggeringly unfathomable for someone like me, considers your life situation and circumstances, and assists you in a custom-build health care plan - all without a hint of condescension, and in a way that is clear, comprehensive, and free of company bias.
