I was on a payment plan, but when the policy renewed after six months, I received a bill for the full next six months. Thinking it was a mistake, I called the office and was told not to worry -- they said they would take care of it. They didn't. The policy ended up getting canceled, yet they still took the first payment for the new term. Then I received a notice from the DMV about a lapse in coverage for June. I called again and was told once more that they'd handle it. Two weeks later, I got another letter from the DMV -- this time stating that my plates had been revoked. When I called again, the story changed completely. Now they claimed I never had a payment plan in place and started blaming me for the entire issue. The level of frustration and incompetence I've experienced with this office is unbelievable. Because of their mistakes, I now have to pay a $50 fee, another $60 for a DMV hearing, and I'm still driving with canceled plates -- all due to their complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

So why do you feel you need to punish someone or an agency for being human? Have you no mercy for people making mistakes? Does it really make you that bitter and angry to have to hurt them for not doing anything intentionally wrong? We dont make money unless we write policies, so obviously we do whatever we can to write as many as we can. It does us no good to quote someone and not write a policy. That being said, if we dropped the ball then thats on us and we lose a customer,it's ok, we can't write everyone and we will drop the ball from time to time. Losing them is on us. What if it were your business and you had an employee make an honest mistake and the client bashed your business on the internet? How would you feel. The customer service for this location has always been pleasant. Juanita was my latest service representative for this office and did a splendid job of communicating the details of swapping renter's insurance for a homeowner's insurance policy. I've been a member with State Farm for nearly 10 years and it's been the best deal I've been offered among the major insurance carriers I've researched. I'll likely continue using this agency and office while I live in this area. If I ever need to file a claim I will review again based upon my experience.
