Zube park is located right off the Katy Hockley/Roberts Rd exit. It is located on Roberts Road. My alumni had a picnic there and we were able to rent this area with a refundable deposit as long as we kept it clean. It's great for kids. There's a water splash area as well as operational steam and diesel model trains. Other amenities include exercise station, picnic areas, a playground and two reservable pavilions. It is as an excellent choice. The kids enjoyed it and the pavilions provided more than adequate shelter. One thing tho just need to make a reservation. It's not first come first serve. They also allowed us to provide and serve our own food. read more

Nice park very clean it has beautiful views and nice trails to walk on leading to other parts of the part such as a little water fall nice for pictures I had fun at the swings definitely recommend for a fun family time here. read more

This spray park (aka splash pad) is amazing for kids to play on during hot, sunny days. There are so many different water sources and features, that even though it was a busy Saturday morning when we went, it didn't feel too crowded or too unsafe in terms of covid risk. There are covered picnic benches along 3 sides of the spray park -- yes, you may get wet! Downside-- the restrooms next to the adjacent playground had NO soap. Boo. Like they don't even have soap dispensers. Period. Plenty of parking available. read more

This splash pad is awesome!!! Highly recommend it. Our almost-4-year-old had a blast! There are so many different water spraying features, varying sizes and water jet types. On the sides of the park there are several picnic tables with coverings/awnings to provide shade. The facility seems well maintained -- no mildew or mold. It's a nice park but the playground off Becker road is constantly overcrowded. The nearby neighborhood Ranch Country has a high count of s** offenders that live there. Less than a mile from such a popular kids playground. read more

A splash pad during the summer is always a good thing. Park gets very busy. Wish the playground was covered. It has a nice long walking/biking path that goes to the other side of the park, which also has another older playground. That side is nicely shaded. read more

So this is a small park, with basic amenities. But this review is more of the Northwest cycling club that meets here every saturday morning at 730 am for rides. The rides vary from 8 miles up to 60+ miles. They have designated paths and they depart by speed groups. There is even a beginner's group that is no drop, meaning they will have someone in the front and the back to make sure you don't get lost and help you if you have a flat. These people are awesome! And what's better is they are FREE! It's a long drive but you must leave the city to find roads you can ride on. Would be 5 stars but the people who live around here aren't always the nicest. read more

I love this park and splash pad! We came before lunch on a Friday and it was not busy at all. We played on the playground first then went into the water area and there were a few tables still available. Everything is clean and well kept. There is plenty of parking and the playground is huge! This place is amazing. Huge playgrounds for the kids one side of the park has a train ride the other side of the park has a huge Splash Pad it's amazing my son asks me everyday if we can go back to the splash pad. They also have a workout center outside which is pretty awesome ! read more

Super fun park! You can spend an entire day here! The splash pad is huge and even my 11 year olds have fun for hours. The playground has so many options for play it is hard to decide where to start. The water fountains are cold and there is even a water fountain for your dog! I do wish there were more NO SMOKING signs posted because it is in Harris county and a lot of people smoke. I have no problem letting them know you can't smoke there but it gets tiring having to do that. You would think that a place for kids would be a hint to the smokers. We love it at this park and have so much fun every time we come! The walking trails are nice and have the distance marked on the sign posts. Lots of covered picnic areas and even places you can reserve for parties and events. read more

Great park and splash pad! My only concern is the slippery surface of the splash pad! I've been to many splash pads and have never seen so many kids slipping and falling! It needs to be resurfaced or something before there's a serious injury. Make sure your kids do not run or they will fall! read more

Used Zube Park 2016 for Our Reunion the park is is a quite location,the space was more then enough for us ,the Kids had fun as some of the adults enjoyed the water park area, the restroom are very nice, play area is nice.The experience at the park was a good ideal everybody love the park.Will be using it in 2019 read more

I am new to the Houston area from Florida. This has to be the coolest park I have ever been to!!! They have 1:7.5 scale train that children and adults can ride on for FREE. From what I have gathered, the trains only run on the 3rd Saturday at 9am to 1pm, from March through November. My kiddo wants to go ride on the train every day. Can't blame him. Today I went to Zube Park to the ride the little steamers. The 3rd Saturday of every month is open to the public for free rides. The wait was not to bad. They had about 4 engines on the go at the same time. My husband said it was good for Free and my 2 year old son seemed to enjoy him self. Rides are free, and they sell hats, tshirts, etc., and take donations. Have you checked out the Little Steamers yet?! It's the 3rd Saturday of every month and it's free, well donations are appreciated. Really one of the coolest things to do in Houston. I was so excited when I found out about this and we took our 3 year old here. Things to know: yes, it does get very busy and you're in the hot son so make sure to bring plenty of water and a snack. I recommend getting here right at 9:00am when they open to avoid the long lines and that way you could try to sneak in two train rides. A very well thought out train track and the trains (which you sit on) are so cute. Couldn't be more excited to have discovered this place. read more
