Great service today on a Saturday from John the Plumber! Called around 11am after I had a backed up sanitary line on the second floor of my condo. My call was handled by Mike who told me that they could get 2 plumbers over to me in about an hour. I was glad considering 4 other plumbers either didn't pick up or didn't offer service on a Saturday. Within 1.5 hours Steve & (another) Mike were at my door and handled the clog in around 20 mins. They were very friendly and even offered to clean our tub afterwards. Total for the fix was $180 cash, others wanted $250 just to take a look. I would definitely call them again for plumbing fixes, they also do new construction work as well. read more

He was also very upfront about everything and let me know what was going on through the entire process, which is very much appreciated by someone who knew little to nothing about water heaters. Booking an appointment and even getting an estimate was smooth. The quote was thorough and broken down piece by piece so I would not be surprised about what the job could entail. They even took the time to break down the pricing between tank and tankless (other companies I called were not so forward and upfront about the pricing for a tankless). I Called John the Plumber on Thursday for an appointment on Friday they told me a time between 12 and 5. I said fine and gave them my information and explained that I lived in a mobile home park. They called Friday morning and verified the appointment. I canceled an appointment that I had that could have been Benifical to me to be able to keep the Plumbing appointment. They waited until 1 on Friday afternoon to call and say they could not come because I live in a mobile home. Very disappointing customer service and I would never recommend them due to the negligent way they handled my appointment from the beginning. Had some very bad water leaks with the valves under our sink. John Jr. Came out the next day. He went right to work and removed the disposal, and the bad valves, replacing them with new. He then replaced the sink, disposal, and faucet. Everything went well and he did a fine job. We will definitely use them again, when we connect our dishwasher. My tub wasn't draining so they sent over a guy who definitely was not a licensed plumber he was a tech /trainee he couldn't unclog the tub he made the mistake of taking out the old drain cap at the bottom of the tub and I learned from other plumbers is you have no reason to ever take that out so it stripped he had to call someone to help so now theres to guys working on it luckily he retreaded it if he couldn't I would have been on the hook for 3-4 thousand they would have had to dig outside the house to replace the pipe anyway my bill went from 250 to 400 $ all because the guy didn't have the experience why do I have to pay because he didn't know what he was doing? i would use again but No because they could have just stuck to the original price luckily i was in a good mood that day and just wanted them gone read more

Thank you bill from JTP for coming to my rescue in a half hour after my initial call to the company. Bill was able to snake the toilet and in seconds it was unclogged and flushing like new york..kidding ..flushing like a champ! Dad is able to re-clog it again at his leisure and i will call john the plumber again just like the last three times ive had them here to unclog the toilets. I had a lysol thing hanging on the rim of the toilet bowl my dad who has alzheimers must have let the whole piece including the plastic that holds the lysol thing on it all go down the toilet NEVER telling me and even trying to blame it on my friend billy who was here last night after we got back from the show. My Billy never even went into the spare bathroom he always uses my toilet in my room. In any case the toilet is fixed..im mentally a wreck because this has happened oh about 6 times since my father has been living here with me the past three years. Want to comes to buying a house and when it comes to having issues which we all know happen and sometimes more frequently than we want, but the hardest part is finding the right person to help you with your needs. I made an appt. a few days ago 4 a Master Plumber 2 show up today. I made it clear I wanted a master plumber - had a big job, plus 2 small jobs. They were supposed 2 come between 11 am - 1 pm. I waited home all day. They never showed up - no phone call, no text that they were running late or weren't coming. Finally at 4 pm I called & was told a technician would be there soon. I had 2 leave at 4:30 . I'm really upset they blew me off .. as if my time, my schedule doesn't matter to them!!! And - I did not request a technician! I requested a master plumber 2 discuss a big job. I did not like the work their guy did the last time they were here either. They got good reviews on Yelp but they sure didn't work 4 me.
