The swings are also good with special features for children that may need special needs. The bathrooms are pretty clean for being a public bathroom in the area and the few times I've been to this bathroom (for my children) the bathrooms have had toilet paper and a working faucet! The only downside at any park in this area is the homeless that are set up in the parking lot off of Grove and the tree closer to Grove. I haven't experienced anything bad and they are pretty to themselves. This is my family's go to park!

Plenty of benches all around to have food and they have a kids playground if you have a child. Also noticed a walking path and some tennis courts. I haven't used the courts here, but used the walking path today and it was a decent size, but simple enough to do. Big field of grass in the middle and people bring their pets. They do have doggy bags which is very convenient as well as bathrooms. Only cons are, it's next to a school so that can get a little loud and because it's next to a school if you're coming from the East there's no turning in here between 11am and I believe 3 or 4pm and no u turns at all on the street, so you do have to drive out of your way down the street and loop around to enter. Once you do get to this park though there's plenty of parking.

Ideally, A1 stringing works on tennis rackets but also does badminton too. Nathan answered all my questions and gave me recommendations for what I wanted. Overall I needed new under, over grip and strings. Best part is that Nathan can pick up and drop off your racket so his service is very convenient. Highly recommend for any of your stringing needs.

This park isn't far from my house, and I decided to walk over there Sunday and let my daughter play…read more& work off some energy. The park itself is just meh. I mean I think it has great potential but needs some up keep. There was graffiti on the big ship structure, and trash and cobwebs beneath the structure. Paint is chipping off as well. The swings were in good condition, and the rocking type rides appeared to be in good condition. My daughter liked the sand table even though the entire playground is filled with sand, lol. There are sun shades over the play area, which I'm sure recalls helps on hot days. The tennis courts were pretty busy in the time I was there and seemed pretty decent. What I DO NOT like, is the shady people who hang out in the parking lot just sitting in their vehicles facing the play area. It's beyond creepy! In addition, two teenagers showed up to smoke pot by their car which luckily was not blowing into the play area. But the whole vibe left me feeling creepy. I've never felt that way at other local parks I frequent. I also heard fighting coming from on of the houses on a street that borders the park on the west side. Kinda nerve wracking not knowing if something bigger was going to come out of that. I only stayed about 30 minutes and I was over it. Not sure I'll be visiting again anytime soon.
