Deacon then told me this was all due to my neglect when the other tree I purchased was just fine. Now I am stuck with a dead tree and money out of my pocket. Awful customer service. Deacons last email to me was so rude I told him not to come out to my house to look at the dead tree. I would go with another company.

While my neighbors were waiting 6 - 8 weeks for the work to be done, TangleWood scheduled ours for 2 weeks out. Megan and another crew member efficiently took care of removing the old tree, grinding the stump, and planting the new tree. Root Tree Service completely screwed me over. The city informed me that I needed to have my 3 large…read moreSiberian Elms trimmed. I had the option to use the city's contractors, which at the time was Root Tree Service, or I could get quotes and hire any company I wanted. After a little hunting around I decided to go with Root Tree Service because they were cheaper and because they were contracted through the city which allowed me to pay in installments. It all sounds good, right? Wrong. The day they trimmed my trees I was at work. When I got home they had already left and here's the kicker, they only trimmed the half of each tree! They didn't touch anything over my yard or house and only trimmed branches over the street. When I called to ask what was going on they inform me that they were only doing a "Safety Prune". That was the first time anyone ever said anything to me about a safety prune or even used that term at all. Root Tree Service refused to come back and finish the job, they took zero responsibility. Who in their right mind would only trim half a tree?! I have huge dead branches over my home, over my powerline, over my garage and they completely ignored all of it. Now I have to hire a different company to come out, close the street and do it all over again. Quotes form other tree companies were only a little more and they were going to do the trees in their entirety. These guys charged almost as much and only did half the damn trees! Here's a quote directly from their website.... "At Root Tree Service, the customer comes first. We want you to have the best experience when dealing with us from first contact, to completion of the job. Too often, customers are left feeling taken advantage of, cheated and disappointed. We have set out to change that! If you aren't happy, the job isn't complete. But don't take our word for it, check out a few testimonials from our loyal customers" Well guess what guys? I'm really super unhappy, I feel cheated and disappointed, all of it. You didn't make it right and the job is incomplete. The above statement is a lie. Enjoy you negative review.
