Really was surprised, I have never been and I knew they had teen nights because my son would often go and I guess in my mind I never thought it would be a happening country bar with damn good music, dancing, not overcrowded, clean, good crowd of people! My husband and I had a good time on Saturday and said we will be back for sure! We paid $4cash only entry fee each on Saturday night. Not bad- just make sure u have cash. The reason for reduced stars- Wait time at the bar and on floor for drinks! One round/oval bar when when u walk in, they have 3 separate parts u can order from - HOWEVER... If u open a tab with one person u cannot order drinks with another person serving in this round bar- all three are separate so I went back to the most popular loc( where everyone seems to order from) to get drinks then by the honest to god 30 min wait in line I just closed out bc I lost my buzz and was annoyed and over it. Beyond annoying and asinine that each barmaid at the same bar is treated like its own when they could clearly work together to get the line moving quicker and the bar. Idk I just know there has is so many solutions, I wonder why management hasn't addressed this, on top of hiring more floor waitresses and bar help. Still annoyed by this experience. However, we will try again, pay in cash or not leave tab open ( they keep ur card) so we can get a drink at any spot at the bar. Had a great time dancing to live music by Kevin Robinson and band. They have a great big dance floor and nice nightclub atmosphere. It is not crowded. Not sure why more people don't come dancing. read more

If you go with a large group you can have fun. This place was empty, smelled like ash trays and looks like it hasn't been updated since 1995. But they have great music and DJ which is why we were there. Well, that and the drinks. They do not skimp on the alcohol, for sure! We had fun but you need to bring your people with you. Don't go thinking you will meet people to hang out with. With a makeover, and air freshener, Johnny B's could be fun and more people would probably go. read more

This place is the smokiest bar I've ever been too. It's absolutely disgusting. You can barely see inside due to the amount of smoke, and you leave smelling like packs of cigarettes. They allow people to get completely wasted until they can't walk. Both times I went to the bathroom (before 11pm) there were people in their puking their brains out. There were girls stumbling all over the bar, obviously too wasted too continue to be served. I would have left immediately had it not been a friends birthday party. I would never return here, birthday or not. If you like smoky bars that allow you to smoke and drink until you can't walk, this is the place for you. Bar is actually decent, service at the bar is very good although drinks are weak, I drink once a month and felt like the 70$ didn't go very far. 3 stars because the genius who makes the decisions decided writing your full credit card number on everyone's receipt was a good idea. Did I also mention that this is a bar full of drunk people? Absolute recipe for dIsaster and a gold mine for anyone who doesn't mind digging through trash, Screw a 9-5 quit your job and start stealing from dalton's customers. I'm going to send a complaint into visa, almost positive this violates their terms of service. We had a very good time here! The service was okay, the music was good, but they need an update. They are still using outdated billing processes. You stand at the bar for the last 45 minutes to get your tab closed. People want to stay until closing, but they stop the music 30 minutes early because it takes them sooo long to close out all the tabs. They seriously need an update. Been here a couple of times. I always enjoy the music, they do a mix like most country bars of some country and a little "booty shaking" music. Most of the country they play is older or Texas country, which I love. The overall atmosphere is nice, as the crowd is more late 20s to early 40s, so there's not nearly as many fights or drama that you see at other dance places. The drinks are reasonably priced, about the same as other bars. I will say their credit card system is outdated as they still use the carbon paper to swipe copies of the card info and it appears taxes arent included on the initial price of the drink, as they always seem to be added in after I tip, which I don't like and to me feels dishonest that i'm not getting the true amount my card will be charged. Other than that it's a nice place to go and enjoy a fun night out. read more

Seeing as it's one of the only options in Conroe to go dancing, its pretty ok. Theres a decent sized dance floor, and 3 big bars. The DJ takes requests and is pretty nice. There aren't really any young people who go here, so don't expect to really meet anyone here, bring a group! It's mostly old townies! And you will leave reeking of cigarettes, but it is usually pretty fun! read more

I recently went to "Johnny B Daltons on a Saturday night after the catfish Festival in Conroe. It was clean, well lit, and full by 11PM. The DJ played a mix of Country, Line dance, and "Pop" Music. The woman dressed good, bad, and ugly however most were really cute ranging in age from 21 to 50+ The Guys for the most part were well dressed cowboys aged 21 to 50. Everyone seemed in a great upbeat happy mood and were really nice and polite (especially since I am new to town and didn't know anybody). They bartenders were all nice (especially the one named Misty). Although they allow smoking inside it wasn't too bad. I will defiantly go back to this place more often. read more

Watch out if you use a debit card they charged $.65 per transaction WITHOUT telling you and think it's ok. I even called and their too bad so sad attitude was very unprofessional. read more
