I have now been using Johnny Bangs Bang and Bumps Shop for over 4 years as when I moved to Spring I was looking for an auto body shop that does quality work for a reasonable price and a former pro racer recommended me to Johnny's and I am glad he did. They have done repair work on my 2019 Mustang GT and now on my 2021 Camry Hybrid. In both instances they did great work at a reasonable price. On my Camry I was quoted over $1200 by the dealer for this small body work, and Johnny did the work for about half the price . They take great pride in their work , are very easy to communicate with, and are old school and believe that doing a job well is the norm. These are people that I trust as they offer a quality service for a fair price. In my opinion you'll be very pleased to use these fine gentleman for any service that they offer. I got multiple quotes for the repairs around Houston and Tomball, but ended up back at Johnny Bang's because of how they did business like my dad did business--small town care, highest quality work, but fair and honest pricing. My car was done in less than a week, and done to perfection. I am a 'car girl', and not just anyone touches any of my vehicles, but after seeing the amazing attention to detail Johnny took on his work, I won't take any of my cars anywhere else for body and paint. Had a great experience here. I needed to get my front bumper replaced and paint matched after a truck tire scratched and pulled part of it off in a parking garage. I did not use insurance for the work and paid cash, which likely helped expedite the process. Insurance can slow things down and in my case the damage was done on "private property" and the information of driver at fault was not something I had. I went in for an estimate and was given a very thorough and detailed print out. I needed to wait about a month and half so I could have the funds and this did not affect the quote I was given. Great experience! While our job was small, Johnny Bangs was BIG on service! From the initial detailed estimate, to the call that it was ready earlier than expected, can't say how refreshing it was doing business here - good old fashioned service. Very reasonable, excellent communication, professional and quality work. I can see why they've been in business so long. Oh could it possibly get any better. You will never experience a more complete and thorough job done by a body shop. They've been in business over 35 years and they *know* what they are doing. They will complete the repair with as little cost to the customer as possible. They are always busy and sometimes this can delay repairs especially if it's something being done privately but it's always worth the wait. They usually call with updates as to what they are doing to your car at what stage and how much longer they believe they will have it. And if they don't call you can call them and they have no problems explaining all of it over the phone. This is a business that knows they have no business without the customer and you don't get referrals or repeat business without pleasing your customers. read more

Unfortunately, my car seems to be have an open invitation for other drivers to hit me. The first time I made the mistake of going with a repair shop that my insurance recommended as I was new to the area and the entire experience was disastrous. So when I got hit again, I decided to try Johnny Bangs and what a difference it was! The customer service was incredible, they got my car repaired and back on the road in a matter of days and their work made my car look like new again. I've never had any issues with them and they handled all the back and forth with insurance. I've been there 3 times now and every time it is the same result. I recently brought my vehicle into get inspected for some damage. I was quoted a price outrageously high for a part that didn't even need to be replaced. Each of our 3 experiences with this body shop has been so positive, we felt we had to write a review. Our 4th child is now a 'new' driver, and we have frequented many a body shop over the years, but have never been as satisfied as we are now- we just wish we would've found JBB's sooner! We cannot say enough good things about Johnny, his employees and the quality of work they do. Is he, or his business, perfect? No! But, he is a man of integrity who runs an honest business, and who will do what he needs to do, to satisfy his customers. I have never experienced as much disrespect at this establishment. There were so many red flags over my experience that I chose to ignore but continued to be treated like trash. Other people may have different experiences at Johnny Bang's, but I feel like I need to share that my experience that was less than ideal. From the beginning, I felt like they are so busy that they could care less how they treat their customers. To better understand my experience, I waited 3 weeks before they would even work on my car and then when I went to pick up my vehicle, the work that was on the one and only estimate that I received was not completed, because "that's not what they had on their estimate" and "it's ok, you don't need it anyways." After being called "sweetie" and "honey" by Allan and after speaking with Johnny, I NEVER was given apology for the work not being done. Johnny and I spoke on the phone and he was willing to "make things better" and said he would be contacting me on a certain day. I am not surprised and after that day I haven't heard from him again. I actually happy that I will never have to walk into that place again and deal with men that think they are too good for anyone. I won't ever allow them to touch my vehicle that carries my family again. No thank you! I did give them one star for the work that they did was done well. read more
