This place is the way to go if you have money you don't care about. Very expensive. They tried to charge my 85 yr old grandma $150 to fix her headlight bulb that was just loose. If they have expensive vehicles in their driveway be weary. read more

Went and got my purge valve replaced. Both Adrianna and Mitchell were great.they were very kind and knowledgeable.

I took my 2012 Infinity M37 to this repair facility for a drivers side mirror, drivers side AC not blowing and Fog lamp covers that were broken from rocks when driving. When I picked up my vehicle 4 days later I was charged 99.99 for an AC dianostics that states " A/C Tier 1 Diagnostics - A/C will not blow all the time. When it does it is cold" I asked what was done for 99.99 they said we checked it out and it worked. REALLY when i picked it up yes the AC was working because we never said it didnt by thier own admission stated in the first line of their diagnostics. I have since took my vehicle to Infinity and for $185.00 diagnostic fee I am told my Actualtor Arm is worn out and the vent is not opening allowing cool air into the drivers area. So BARSH did nothing for $99.99 but tell me it blows how can it blow if the vent will not open. Now being repaired by Infinity. As for the mirror and the fog lamps BARSH called the dealer and quoted me brand new parts for a 10 year old vehicle REALLY! $1800.00 for the mirror plus labor and paint. $500.00 for the fog lamps plus labor. My husband told them he would get back to them on the mirror and the fog lamps. My husband called a salvage lot here in HOUSTON and was told $500.00 for the mirror and $250.00 for the fog lamps. either way the mirror new or used would have to be painted. When I picked up the vehicle on Monday it is now Thursday the Service advisor Ben told me he would call his used supplier in Ft Worth and get back to me. So far no call back about obtaining used parts. Why was this not an option for a 10 year old vehicle. Heck insurance will not even put new parts on a 10 year old vehicle. This is a SCAM. In thier defense they say they changed the fluids in my radiator and rear differentual did they or did they not who knows but I paid a total invoice$ of 662.93 for an oil change, radiator flush and rear diff. Still no AC, no mirror and no fog lamps just a missed diagnoses. I called Barsh today spoke with Ben and yes I was upset to say the least because I feel I was taken advantage of in the amount of 99.99 a charge for a diagnostic fee of 99.99 that didnt diagnose the problem. All Ben could say is you are yelling at me and I dont have to listen to it. Well let me tell you it is your job to listen to customers and give a vaild explination to the customer because without us you have no business. This is really sad! As i am not asking for something for nothing. I am asking you to do the right thing. But not at this facility. I will never return to this facility nor refer anyone to them. My son and I were traveling through New Waverly from Dallas to Houston when I hit a tire tread from an 18-wheeler on I-45 yesterday. It tore up the underbelly tray of my front fender and it immediately started making a terrible sound. I pulled off the road and noticed it was not only dragging on the road but it was shredded on the passenger's side and rubbing against the tire. I readjusted my GPS to avoid the highway and started driving no more than 45mph with my flashers on using frontage and back roads all the while looking for an auto shop that was open. The first one we came to was Barsh in New Waverly. They looked really busy. I parked in the last spot available. When I went inside the man at the counter said it would be 45 minutes to an hour before they would get to it. We were already running late to our destination. He saw my dilemma and said that he was the general manager filling in for the site manager and a master technician. He could look at it himself in 10 minutes. He thought he probably just needed to take off the underbelly altogether. And that's what he did. We were out of there within an hour. I am so grateful to Mark, the General Manager. I wish there was a Barsh Auto Service in my area. I would definitely recommend them. They are friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Super good people. I called ahead to see how long it would take and they made sure to have a service bay available upon my arrival. When I arrived, they had all of the paperwork ready to go and offered me a bottle of water. The lobby/front office area of the shop are very clean and welcoming, and the owner, Buster, is a super good guy who cares about his customers and people in general. I had my car towed in since it broke down near by, and I like doing business with local companies. What a huge mistake, the quote of over $2500.00 was over twice what I will pay with the company I took in to and have done business with for years, but it is in Houston. I took my car in to repair a/c. Paid $150 diagnostic fee for them to diagnose the problem which they determined to be the hose. They replaced it. Realized they had "misdiagnosed" my problem and quoted me $1900 to repair the real problem. I said no that was way too high and to obviously just put my original part back on since that obviously wasn't the problem to begin with and I would pick up the car. When I went to pick up the car they wanted to charge me $432 extra dollars in labor to change out the hose and would not release my car. So I am supposed to pay $582 (diagnostic fee already paid + new labor charge) to get my car back in the original condition I brought it in? Still broken. They are supposed to be experts. If they misdiagnose the problem how is their labor my concern when I already paid the diagnostic fee to begin with? Their response to me was "it isn't our fault you can't afford to fix the real problem." So insulting. Do not trust these people. I will be filing this in claims court. It is the principle of the matter. The incompetence of these "professionals" is highly disappointing. read more
