I had a great experience at Johnny Clean Car Wash. To compare, it's one of the best express car wash I've been to. The staff is friendly and the express wash is fast. They provide extra towels for you to clean off your car after the wash. They even have window cleaner and fragrance bottles available. These are just of the extra things I've noticed that's not commonly provided at other car wash express places. Oh, each bay even has a hand sanitizer dispenser...ala Covid precautions and safety. Sometimes I ponder, "How often should a person wash there car?" A few birds decided it was wash day for my car. This was also the perfect time to visit the new kids on the block, Johnny Clean. For a $9 single wash, I received an awesome tire shine, weather shield, hot air dry, my wheels renewed, and free vacuum usage. The vacuum suction was powerful. I love how they've created a section on dirty and clean towels at the vacuum stations. There was also window cleaner and car freshener at each station. FYI: In between each car station, there's a vacuum hose on each side of your car: one of the left side of your car and the other for the right side of your car. Furthermore, I thought it was nice of how the crew member at the wash entrance suggested a membership for unlimited washes but, I normally bring out the soap and bucket to wash my own car. Nice car was. Cleaned my vehicle very well. If you have a truck with racks the recommend not going through and may refuse to send you through because it may damage the racks and their equipment. It is important to note they do not vacuum the car for you , you do it at the end. They have plenty of stations to take your time. They also have a mat cleaning station but it states no rubber mats so there was no good way to clean mine. They also have fragrance spray and window cleaner with fresh clean cloth towels. read more

Thanks going out to Johnny and his crew. They just recently opened. I really did not think they would be a good fit for Arlington, but I've had a change of mind. I always like to be supportive and welcoming to all new businesses in our area, but I had reservations about this "high end" car wash. But, after today-I will go there often to get my car washed. I wanted to sign up for the unlimited, pay plan-but decided to wait. I went through for my "Free Car wash"! The car came out very clean and the tires too. Then while I wash vacuuming, a young man brought me some window cleaner and a clean rag to wipe down my windows. Then I was able to meet, Cherie-one of the managers. She was very nice and I welcomed her to Arlington. She thanked me for coming by. I also noticed they had a "Concierge Section". I am thinking that might be included in an extra price maybe, or work off of tips for doing the detail work for you. Not real sure. I'll have to find out. The Con:it is on a pretty busy corner-I can see heavier traffic now. I also see when you go through the gate, you have to turn a hard left turn. I know my truck would not make this turn. But, the car did okay. There are some barriers there and I noticed a lot of black tire tread. So, I do see a small problem that might be remedied. Hopefully. This right here is the truth! one of the newest car washes around and they're building one in river city too. only paid $20 and i can get unlimited premium car washes for the whole month. as many as i want. had to run through twice, but it looked brand new after even with the ceramic coat! their detailing station is cook too, they have normal stations for cleaning and a side for unlimited members that has even more to help clean from window cleaner to leather shine, and fragrances that smell like lemon and give it that true new car smell. BEWARE!!! If I could I would give 0 stars. My passenger side mirror in my Suburban was torn off and door all scratched. They told me to take car to Caliber Collision to get an estimate which came to $485. The Company refuses to pay for the repairs. The first excuse manager gave me was that they reviewed the video and that the equipment did not act with malicious intent and attacked my car???!!! Then the Operations Manager said my car is old, the adhesive is deteriorated, etc. etc. This is not something that can be resolved with applying new adhesive, the mirror including the bolt and plastic attachment pieces are broken!!! Not only was this an insult to his intelligence but it was complete negligence on their behalf. He has been going to this place since they opened and referred several people here thinking he was covered by their guarantee only to find out differently. This is very disheartening and bad business. Needless to say, they could have accepted responsibility and taken care of this but unfortunately, we are going to have to do this the hard way, which will cost them far more. I cancelled and got a confirmation from them on April 6th that my monthly membership had been cancelled, but as of July 25th, they are still billing my credit card every month. You cannot get hold of anyone if you call their number, no one ever answers. I dispute the charge with my credit card company every month but I finally had to cancel my current card and get a new one to keep them from charging my account. Now I have to change the 15 to 20 automatic payments I have set up with this card. A major pain, all because this company is so poorly run they simply cannot remove me from their auto billing. So I tried this wash today for the first time. Upon entering I had to get past a high pressure salesperson trying to sell me a monthly pass I didn't want. Then I think I scraped my car on an awkward left U turn into the tunnel entrance. My car had soap and was quite wet when I exited the tunnel. I was pressured again to buy a monthly pass. Then it took a while to exit this place. Not good ingress / egress. Also, the blowers were not very powerful. And no free air freshener and no air jets to clean those cracks and crevices. read more

Trash. Loved them when they first opened but now it's just a scam. The paper towels are a joke and even with getting extras it was still down to the wire because after Johnny washes your car YOU have to wash your car to get everything that was missed. Was told by an employee my car didn't get washed properly because it was "too small" and that only trucks and suvs get good washes because the brushes can't reach cars like mine (I drive a coupe), I was also told that they stopped the spray and microfiber cloths for cost efficiency. Cost efficiency doesn't doesn't matter if you drive away profits. Also I canceled my mom's membership for her (her car was coming out dirty as well and she drives a sedan) and even after receiving a confirmation email that the membership was indeed canceled for the past 2 months they have still been trying to debit her account and the bank had to put a stop to all future payments. This was my first time at Johnny Clean so I didn't know what to expect. Took the car here since some bIrds decided to use it for target practice. They definitely hit the mark several times. Anyway, as you pull up there is a very nice employee thaT greets you and explains all of the options. I selected the best option because I wanted the car to be clean and shiny. As you enter the wash area there is another employee that guides you in and sprays the front of the vehicle with what looks like a pressure washer. You place the vehicle in neutral and the car wash quickly moves along the wash and dry cycle. I thought the wash part was kind of short but the heated dryers definitely do there job so you don't have any streaks at all. As you exit there are plenty of free vacuums to use as well as window cleaner and a mat cleaner. So far it's great! Well I am happy with the shine of the car until I get to the hood where not all of the bird droppings were washed off. Not only were they not washed off but now the wax has sealed them in even better. Guess I will have to wash it again myself. So if your car is not too dirty this quick wash works. I just had hoped for more from an $18 wash. read more
