Fries (Left) & Cheese Tots (Right)
Tammy V.

Came in for a quick snack, and our server was the SWEETEST! We just ordered fries and cheese tots (which of course were good because you can't mess that up), but we were treated so well that it elevated the experience. I haven't been to a Johnny Rockets before, so this was a fun first experience.

The service was amazing. Abby was our server this morning for lunch. She was so attentive and kind. The food was delicious and the building and dining area were all very clean. Hamburgers were flavorful. Onion rings on point. The malt SOOOOOO GOOOD.

Stopped in for a quick burger after hitting some of my favorite stores ( old navy, Columbia, Nike, bath and body works, etc). As always burgers consistent, fries hot, and service friendly. Only downfall was that the service was a bit slow and soda was flat. My server did fix that when I mentioned it.

Pretzel Tots. Boom. Done. What else is there to say. Well, yes. The burgers are good also. Enjoyed the Honey Mustard Pretzel Burger. Pushed the limits on what I can eat with the Bacon Cheese Fries. Gonna pay for that. But overall, if you want a burger this is a good place to go.

Well that was definitely nothing to write home about. I am willing to say, I have never eat at Johnny Rockets and now I know why. We ordered the chili cheese fries and I could have made the dish from a can of chili off a shelf from Walmart and would have come out way ahead. There was hardly any cheese at least not to constitute the cheese portion of the dish, and the plate was cold. The kitchen couldn't even have the decency to nuke the fries for 30 seconds to melt the bits and pieces that was sprinkled over the top. The milkshake was legit vanilla ice cream and Hershey's syrup. Nothing to rave about there, it was okay. The chicken was dry from the salad, I mean...I don't know what I was expecting. I guess this is just a glorified fast food joint. The waiter was sweet, bless his heart. I took forever to order cause it all just looked awful. Bottom line, my 5 year old said it was the best food ever. So there ya go. He gives it 5, I can't be quite so generous. Hard pass next time.

Quick service and a yummy burger and fries! Our server, Mariann was one the best we've had in a long time! Very friendly and attentive. Brought us sauces, refilled drinks before we even realized we needed them! Really amazing service! Food was good. Definitely will come back!

Like In-N-Out but better food and ambiance. The smiling ketchup in particular was a plus. Really makes you feel like you're in BioShock with all the posters and stuff. Basically, it's the above-ground Rapture experience, except without the Objectivist dictatorship. And that's a plus in my book.

The meal took longer than expected to get and we were on a little time crunch so ended up getting it to go but love the old timey diner vibes in their restaurant and just a very classic all american menu to choose from. Professional and friendly staff, good food, and fun environment

I have been to Johny Rockets a dozen times and this particular location more than half of those. I find the service at this location to be far friendly and better than the one at City Creek, where I am often placed back by the restrooms due to being a mom with a young child (can I just say how much I hate that!). The food is consistent, nothing spectacular, but consistently good. And let's be honest, you don't go to a burger joint such as this for "spectacular" but rather greasy yummy burgers, thick shakes, and better than average fries - all of which you get at this particular Johnny Rockets. And for a family environment with my young toddler/baby in tow, I find this is one of those places that doesn't make me feel bad for bringing my child, unlike so many other restaurants. Definitely a good place that I will continue to visit regularly.

The service was fantastic and the food was good ol' American diner food. It was inexpensive and comforting. Our kids loved the atmosphere.

Met up with an old friend that I hadn't seen in years. I was having way too much fun at the…read moreamusement park...whereas they clearly weren't. After about 6 hours of non-stop rides and waiting, we decided to get off the walk and grab a bite to eat. Due to more extreme rides planned for the rest of the day; we opted for sharing a plate and not indulging in much more. The Pork Carnitas Nachos honestly were a good 10/10 for me because I was starving. Friend said more a 8/10 for them. The service here sucks! Unless it's the teenager where you pick up your order up from; forget it otherwise. You order at the counter. They give you a buzzer thing that will buzz after your order is ready to pickup from their window. Seat yourself if you can find any room. They also do have an outside patio area which is nice but unfortunately it was all packed. At the counter when you order everything for your party, you get your beverages. The cashier (I'm thinking she was either German or European ... which actually would have been lovely had she actually cared to be there). No manners. Very rude even. I didn't understand the "buzzer" system and in my party there was one Coke and one Diet Coke. Now, which one is which b/c she just shoved them towards us. I wouldn't have cared but my friend might have. Anyways, what ever happened to pushing the one little button on the plastic lid like we did back in the 80s-90s. Nevermind.. I'm getting old;+) So we found a table for two right by the bar with two little barstools. We had absolutely no issues with waiting (fyi, it was about 20 minutes). Engrossed in conversation, I feel something crawling underneath my feet. My friend did too. "WTF? Are there mice in here"? Nope, just an angry old lady sweeping underneath our feet (BTW, we hadn't received our order yet at 20 minutes) and I guess she thought we sat there for too long just drinking and not eating. FFS - When the nachos eventually were ready, the young 15 year old or so was friendly and gracious at the pick up window. If you want utensils here though, you have to ask the pick up window. When I asked for a fork they were plastic and ungloved bare-hand handed it to me with the actual fork in between his fingers. Plenty of napkin dispensers but not very hygienic if you want utensils. Side note- Whether you just go to the restaurant on it's own or are enjoying Lagoon Amusement Park, there is a bathroom located inside the restaurant that is actually clean (unlike all the restrooms circulated throughout the park). Store is clean but customer service and employees need big time customer service training! I'm giving this review a straight 4 for decent food and an amazing day. Sadly the restaurant itself is only worthy of a 3.

As you step inside, you can immediately tell that the establishment is well managed. Everything is beautiful and the staff and quick to welcome you with a smile and seat you. They welcome you a cold glass bottle of filtered water. Make sure you sit outside at shaded table near the fountain. Even in 90-degree-weather days, the coolness from the fountains splashing and numerous nearby trees and bushes make the experience very pleasant with even a slight breeze. The entrees are reasonably priced and very tempting, it's a challenge to choose what to eat. My suggestion? Give the wait staff an idea of your favorites and ask them to make a suggestion. Both times I've been here, I ordered what they suggested and it was amazing. The seafood, sauces and flavors are elegant and well executed. They have lots of options for seafood lovers and those who love it less. On my latest trip, I got the Prawn Scampi. The spaghettini noodles were cooked al dente, the butter garlic sauce was delicious, and when you combined them with a grape tomato, a part of the asparagus heart, and one of the prawns it was a taste symphony! A tip! Sometimes they have special where if you show them a ticket to a movie at the nearby Cinemark theater, they'll give you a free appetizer. I got the Seafood Chowder. It was rich, thick and savory with small chunks of scallops and fish with corn, onion, and bacon. Delicious!

He saw In n Out on our way to Target so of course we had to make our way in. He finally found something that sounded good to him. I really wish I can remember the gal's name who helped us. She was so sweet! She greeted us with the best smile. She helped my husband with his order. He's picky and didn't want all the extras on his double double, he's a simple kind of guy. We got all checked out and chilled in the dining area. It's so weird sitting inside this venue. It's so chill and cool. Our In n Outs back in Idaho are pure choas. It was nice to be able to find a clean table right away. We didn't have to stare awkwardly at guests to see if they are almost done eating. It was truly a refreshing experience. My husband polished off his double double. It was perfectly made. The fries were a little cold but he didn't mind. He enjoyed the main attraction. I asked him if Utah's In n Out tasted different from Idaho's. "It tasted the same". I think that's a great thing! Gotta love consistency. My husband had one last great lunch in Utah before we hit the highway to head home. Thank you to the sweet gal for helping us. I don't know if we will be back to this specific In n Out again but if we are by chance in the area, I'm sure my husband will want to make his way in again.
