I've been here a couple of times now, and want to share my secret. This place is one of the best places to take a date on a dinner and movie night! As you step inside, you can immediately tell that the establishment is well managed. Everything is beautiful and the staff and quick to welcome you with a smile and seat you. They welcome you a cold glass bottle of filtered water. Make sure you sit outside at shaded table near the fountain. Even in 90-degree-weather days, the coolness from the fountains splashing and numerous nearby trees and bushes make the experience very pleasant with even a slight breeze. The entrees are reasonably priced and very tempting, it's a challenge to choose what to eat. My suggestion? Give the wait staff an idea of your favorites and ask them to make a suggestion. Both times I've been here, I ordered what they suggested and it was amazing. The seafood, sauces and flavors are elegant and well executed. They have lots of options for seafood lovers and those who love it less. On my latest trip, I got the Prawn Scampi. The spaghettini noodles were cooked al dente, the butter garlic sauce was delicious, and when you combined them with a grape tomato, a part of the asparagus heart, and one of the prawns it was a taste symphony! A tip! Sometimes they have special where if you show them a ticket to a movie at the nearby Cinemark theater, they'll give you a free appetizer. I got the Seafood Chowder. It was rich, thick and savory with small chunks of scallops and fish with corn, onion, and bacon. Delicious! read more

Miso Cod on Shitaki Risotto and a Lemon Drop drink. The food was insanely delicious!! The bartender Dakota did double duty tonight and was our server too. He was funny, came by several times to tend to our needs and made a mean Lemon Drop drink! Dinner, my miso cod was moist, flaked apart beautifully, the fish was marinated in the miso so it had what looked like a smoke ring. The miso sauce was slightly sweet in a very good way and went well with the fish. The risotto was thick, moist still and had a nicely mild Shitaki flavor with chunks of mushrooms in it. The spinach was mildly sweet to me but I liked it. The whole dish had the perfect miso balance. My hubby got the fish and chips. It came with a purple slaw. The fish was a healthy serving and the fries looked like they had a sprinkling of herbs on them. We ordered peach cobblers each to go. I'd definitely order my dinner again...it's that good. From the very first conversation, WildFin set the bar incredibly high and then exceeded it at every single turn. I reached out to the manager about hosting our daughter's birthday dinner, and what followed was flawless execution. We pre planned everything including named seating, small decor, and pre ordered courses, and the team came prepared with a spreadsheet and complete confidence. The service felt almost choreographed. Plates moved through the dining room effortlessly, every dish arrived hot, perfectly timed, and beautifully presented. There truly is not one thing at WildFin that is not delicious. Each course somehow outdid the last, and the pacing was impeccable. The staff was attentive without hovering, thoughtful, and more dialed in than anywhere else I could have chosen to celebrate her. I have celebrated my own birthday at WildFin before, when friends surprised me by calling ahead and having the bill comped, so I already knew this team handled special requests with care. This experience only confirmed it. We are originally from Las Vegas, where hospitality sets a different standard, and WildFin meets and exceeds those expectations. After hearing good things about Wildfin we were finally able to give them a try. The good things I've heard were spot on. Nice to have a little nicer restaurant to choose from in Davis County. The prices are in line with a nicer restaurant, which will be on the higher end for Davis County, but you get what you pay for. The service was excellent, felt very taken care of. The only thing I'd add, is that they should box up your leftovers for you instead of bringing you a box. It's not so nice that it would be rude to take your food home but nice enough for them to box it for you. We started with the Harvest Seasonal salad that was very good. 5/5 I had a pasta garlic shrimp dish with diced peppers, artichoke hearts and more. The garlic sauce had a very nice taste but was soaked in butter. The shrimp was tail on, I prefer to just have them de-tail them. And the artichoke hearts were very good. A good dish but I felt I could get this same dish at a dozen different places. The server did recommend the shrimp and grits, I guess I'll have to come back for them. 4/5 My wife ordered the Pork Chop with Plum salsa and it was amazing. Plum salsa, chipotle lime honey, smoked Gouda over chipotle grits. A tiny bit of heat in the salsa, just enough to notice, but oh so good. Large portions with enough to take some home. 5/5 Lots more on the menu, we will be back. You should really give this place a try! read more

I'm going to write a negative review, then tell you why we'll be back. We went here for our family date night. If I were just reviewing the food, you would never see us here again. It was our first time dining here and we were pleasantly surprised that they have a three course menu for $33 a person with an appetizer, entree, and dessert (see image). We started our meal with the Rosemary Potato Bread and the Garlic Prawns. The bread was warm and fresh and the crust was crunchy, but the bread lacked flavor and was heavy and dense. The garlic prawns were probably my favorite part of the meal, super flavorful. We enjoyed most of the cocktails we ordered, which were beautifully composed and presented. Our waiter, who had just barely started, did an amazing job. Our only challenge was that the table wasn't cleared during our meal so we made a pile on the side. For entrees, I was excited to try the Parmesan Crusted Sole, which they were surprisingly out of at the start of dinner service. Flustered, I settled on the Salmon. It was super dry and didn't have enough avocado verde (my waiter did bring more, which helped). The fingerling potatoes were good, but the raw, unseasoned tomatoes on the plate didn't make any sense. My husband got the Seared Ahi Salad which looked beautiful but was overpowered with wasabi. The Butterscotch Pudding Brûlée had such an odd, gritty texture and flavor that neither of us finished it. My daughter got a kids meal and seemed to like it, although my husband had a bite of her chicken tenders and they had the odd chicken texture. So here's the reason we'll be back. A manager stopped at our table to pick up some dishes and overheard our dissatisfaction we were expressing to each other over the meal. We're not typically ones to complain, so we hesitantly explained how much we disliked the food. She ended up comping both our main meals. I wouldn't go back for the seafood, but I will be back to try some of their steaks and chops or specialties. This place is pretty pricey if you don't take advantage of the early dinner prices. I used to really love WildFin -- it had this cozy, approachable charm that made it a go-to for a chill dinner with great seafood and an atmosphere that didn't try too hard. But ever since the makeover, it feels like the soul of the place got a little lost in translation. The new aesthetic is definitely more upscale, but it doesn't quite match the relaxed vibe I used to come here for. And the menu prices? Oof. They've jumped to a level that doesn't quite match the portion sizes or the overall experience anymore. I don't mind paying more for quality, but I do want it to feel like it makes sense. It also makes me a little sad to see it so quiet whenever I'm at Station Park -- it used to have more energy. I can't help but wonder if other people are feeling the same disconnect with the recent changes. I hope they find their way back to what made them special in the first place. read more

Very modern feel inside the restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately upon walking into the reception area. I am a non- seafood eater. I came only because the birthday girl chose this place. I was pleasantly surprised on how many non- seafood offerings were on the menu, and there was no fishy smell whatsoever! Well done Wildfin staff. The food was served in a timely manner, and everyone commented on how delicious their entrees were. I remember this place when it was some other restaurant, but we won't go into that right now. This one is a winner! Not overly loud. We were there early so I can't say that they were not busy. Still, nice set up, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The server was absolutely helpful with selecting what we were going to eat. The French Onion Soup was excellent. Very different from what I have had in other local places. Definitely more flavorful. The Wicked Shrimp and Grits were pretty good. Yes, spicy. Enough to make me cry? No. The moment I thought was great was when my son has a conversation with the server about what wine would be best with a meal. So excited to finally have an incredible place to eat in this space!!!! Date night checking out this new place. The decor was clean, nice and modern. Went with the seafood chowder to start, it was very comforting, thick and had lots of salmon, I loved the corn addition to it. I am doing dry January so I opted for the dry French 76 and to my surprise, it was lovely. Hubby had a draft beer and went with the shrimp, scallops and artichokes. It had a lovely sauce and wasn't too heavy but was a very nice portion. I went with the black cod with miso. Their risotto was done with a quinoa mix of shiitake, edamame, and was superb!!!. The cod was cooked perfectly. It is a big size portion and I couldn't even finish it. I really wanted to try the butterscotch pudding crème brûlée but was too full. My husband and I both wanted fish so I'm glad I found this place. It's beautiful inside and where it's located. I wish the shops were open so I can go shopping ha ha. I ordered the king salmon and he ordered the sockeye salmon. We were going to see what the difference was and taste. They were out of the sockeye, so my husband got king salmon for the price of the sockeye. Came with fingerling potatoes and some vegetables. We ordered this bread that was so good that I ate two pieces. I had a bourbon jam. It's a different drink and I wanted to try it. I think I'll stick to my oldfashion. Great service and really great seafood. The quality of the fish really makes this experience stand out. My husband and I have been here twice now and we are hooked! The calamari is steak calamari (not the rings) which was tender and delicious. Great wine list, our server recommended one of the Sauvignon Blanc wines and it was delicious (I can't recall the name). The clam chowder was classic yet updated and really delicious. Our entrees included scallops for me and shrimp and grits for him, both left us satisfied and impressed. This is not cheap seafood. We were looking for a sit-down restaurant at the mall and chose this one. On a Sunday afternoon it was pretty empty, which was nice. I wanted to order the seared ahi salad, but they were out. I chose the simply grilled seasonal salmon instead. It was alright. The salmon itself was good, but the overall dish was a little odd to me. Probably the balsamic vinegar that was drizzled on everything. I'm not the biggest fan of balsamic vinegar and it wasn't listed on the menu item. My friend ordered the fish & chips and said they were good. To drink I ordered the blackberry basil lemonade, which was really good! I don't remember which drink my friend ordered, but her straw didn't reach the bottom of her glass. She said the drink was good though! They do have a large drink menu and offer quite a few cocktails. Overall, this was a fun place to meet for lunch and spend a couple hours. We went here for first time today and tried their brunch. All the food was delicious. We started with the fondue and enjoyed it. I wish there had been a different item besides the apples but everything else was so good especially the andouille! We also did the Cajun fish tacos and the fried chicken and biscuits with gravy. both dishes were perfect! The tacos were a little spicy but had such great flavor. The biscuit and the gravy on the fried chicken was so good. The only downside was our cocktails. I had a pistachio daiquiri that was a little sour. The Gustavo cocktail needed more mango. We also got the non alcoholic mango sparkler which was delicious! Tons of fresh mango in that drink. We will definitely be back for more food and will give other drinks a shot too! read more

Though the food was really good for me, my whole party was not super impressed with our experience at Wild Fin. The seafood chowder tasted a bit floral and some of the entrees were very salty. We went to this restaurant to celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary, but were disappointed to see that our server never offered a discount or dessert for the 4 celebrating people of our party. The food was decent with quality ingredients, and portions were good- though notably expensive. But sitting outside by the fountain was super nice! We tried out the new restaurant at Station Park, Wildfin. The mango sparkler drink was FANTASTIC!!! We got fresh halibut and sol that was delicious as well. Their staff was super friendly and the manager came and talked food and flavors with us, which Josh can do all day. They support local producers as well (cheese, bread, meat, etc) which I love. This place was amazing!! We had our annual girls secret Santa dinner here and it was great! We had 8 of us gals and when I was trying to make reservations on Open Table it wouldn't allow me to make it for 8 as it was too large for the online. I was able to send a message and got a response and they updated it for me. Then today for our dinner reservation, I messaged again to see if we could get a round table and they were able to accommodate and they had an oval table for us! The hospitality was great! From the moment you walk in until you leave! When we first got there it wasn't too busy. It got busy a little later. Our Waiter Mario was great! He was attentive and always came back to our table to make sure we were still doing fine and if we needed anything! The drinks were delicious! The food was outstanding!
