    Dinner service

From the very first conversation, WildFin set the bar incredibly high and then exceeded it at every single turn. I reached out to the manager about hosting our daughter's birthday dinner, and what followed was flawless execution. We pre planned everything including named seating, small decor, and pre ordered courses, and the team came prepared with a spreadsheet and complete confidence. The service felt almost choreographed. Plates moved through the dining room effortlessly, every dish arrived hot, perfectly timed, and beautifully presented. There truly is not one thing at WildFin that is not delicious. Each course somehow outdid the last, and the pacing was impeccable. The staff was attentive without hovering, thoughtful, and more dialed in than anywhere else I could have chosen to celebrate her. I have celebrated my own birthday at WildFin before, when friends surprised me by calling ahead and having the bill comped, so I already knew this team handled special requests with care. This experience only confirmed it. We are originally from Las Vegas, where hospitality sets a different standard, and WildFin meets and exceeds those expectations. Now that we live in Northern Utah, this is the only place we will bring friends and family when we want outstanding food and exceptional service. Thank you to Dan and the entire WildFin team. You gave our daughter a night she will remember forever.

After hearing good things about Wildfin we were finally able to give them a try. The good things I've heard were spot on. Nice to have a little nicer restaurant to choose from in Davis County. The prices are in line with a nicer restaurant, which will be on the higher end for Davis County, but you get what you pay for. The service was excellent, felt very taken care of. The only thing I'd add, is that they should box up your leftovers for you instead of bringing you a box. It's not so nice that it would be rude to take your food home but nice enough for them to box it for you. We started with the Harvest Seasonal salad that was very good. 5/5 I had a pasta garlic shrimp dish with diced peppers, artichoke hearts and more. The garlic sauce had a very nice taste but was soaked in butter. The shrimp was tail on, I prefer to just have them de-tail them. And the artichoke hearts were very good. A good dish but I felt I could get this same dish at a dozen different places. The server did recommend the shrimp and grits, I guess I'll have to come back for them. 4/5 My wife ordered the Pork Chop with Plum salsa and it was amazing. Plum salsa, chipotle lime honey, smoked Gouda over chipotle grits. A tiny bit of heat in the salsa, just enough to notice, but oh so good. Large portions with enough to take some home. 5/5 Lots more on the menu, we will be back. You should really give this place a try!

I'm going to write a negative review, then tell you why we'll be back. We went here for our family date night. If I were just reviewing the food, you would never see us here again. It was our first time dining here and we were pleasantly surprised that they have a three course menu for $33 a person with an appetizer, entree, and dessert (see image). We started our meal with the Rosemary Potato Bread and the Garlic Prawns. The bread was warm and fresh and the crust was crunchy, but the bread lacked flavor and was heavy and dense. The garlic prawns were probably my favorite part of the meal, super flavorful. We enjoyed most of the cocktails we ordered, which were beautifully composed and presented. Our waiter, who had just barely started, did an amazing job. Our only challenge was that the table wasn't cleared during our meal so we made a pile on the side. For entrees, I was excited to try the Parmesan Crusted Sole, which they were surprisingly out of at the start of dinner service. Flustered, I settled on the Salmon. It was super dry and didn't have enough avocado verde (my waiter did bring more, which helped). The fingerling potatoes were good, but the raw, unseasoned tomatoes on the plate didn't make any sense. My husband got the Seared Ahi Salad which looked beautiful but was overpowered with wasabi. The Butterscotch Pudding Brûlée had such an odd, gritty texture and flavor that neither of us finished it. My daughter got a kids meal and seemed to like it, although my husband had a bite of her chicken tenders and they had the odd chicken texture. So here's the reason we'll be back. A manager stopped at our table to pick up some dishes and overheard our dissatisfaction we were expressing to each other over the meal. We're not typically ones to complain, so we hesitantly explained how much we disliked the food. She ended up comping both our main meals. I wouldn't go back for the seafood, but I will be back to try some of their steaks and chops or specialties. This place is pretty pricey if you don't take advantage of the early dinner prices. Even with the special, our bill would've been about $140 before tip.

Wow!!! Absolutely amazing food and service. We stopped in for lunch and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was chill and music was great. Total chill vibe! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and are glad we stopped on a whim.

I remember this place when it was some other restaurant, but we won't go into that right now. This one is a winner! Not overly loud. We were there early so I can't say that they were not busy. Still, nice set up, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The server was absolutely helpful with selecting what we were going to eat. The French Onion Soup was excellent. Very different from what I have had in other local places. Definitely more flavorful. The Wicked Shrimp and Grits were pretty good. Yes, spicy. Enough to make me cry? No. The moment I thought was great was when my son has a conversation with the server about what wine would be best with a meal. His discussion on flavors and textures threw me since I remember when all he would eat was chicken nuggets and Mac & Cheese. They grow up so fast.

As a foodie and a pescatarian, I highly recommend. Salmon was cooked perfectly to my specifications. Server was happy to get me more info about source of the oysters and salmon. One of the best seafood meals I've had in Utah

So excited to finally have an incredible place to eat in this space!!!! Date night checking out this new place. The decor was clean, nice and modern. Went with the seafood chowder to start, it was very comforting, thick and had lots of salmon, I loved the corn addition to it. I am doing dry January so I opted for the dry French 76 and to my surprise, it was lovely. Hubby had a draft beer and went with the shrimp, scallops and artichokes. It had a lovely sauce and wasn't too heavy but was a very nice portion. I went with the black cod with miso. Their risotto was done with a quinoa mix of shiitake, edamame, and was superb!!!. The cod was cooked perfectly. It is a big size portion and I couldn't even finish it. I really wanted to try the butterscotch pudding crème brûlée but was too full. We had Mario as our waiter and we had amazing service. Looking forward to many more dinners here.

Yes. Go in! I've heard it was good and it is! Highest yelp rating in Station Park; I'm contributing to that. Fish and chips were very good. Bathrooms are immaculate ( which is really important to me) and the whole place has a good vibe. Another plus is they're open on Sundays!

Everything was really quite nice. The tuna was delicious. Miso cod was great, but very rich. The burger was very good too. Desserts are massive so be prepared to share! Drinks were decent. Our server was very nice and attentive. I'd come back!

My husband and I both wanted fish so I'm glad I found this place. It's beautiful inside and where it's located. I wish the shops were open so I can go shopping ha ha. I ordered the king salmon and he ordered the sockeye salmon. We were going to see what the difference was and taste. They were out of the sockeye, so my husband got king salmon for the price of the sockeye. Came with fingerling potatoes and some vegetables. We ordered this bread that was so good that I ate two pieces. I had a bourbon jam. It's a different drink and I wanted to try it. I think I'll stick to my oldfashion. Our server was Mario and he was attentive Made sure we had water, etc. wish this place was in California.

Great lunch. Fresh. Perfectly cooked. Happy service. Really clean. Kinda surprised by the price of the halibut special ~ recommend asking price prior to ordering

Revisited during Sunday brunch. The French onion soup was perfectly balanced with the perfect amount of cheese. The beet and burrata is my new favorite thing on the menu. The staff was very nice and welcoming! Will be revisiting!

We were looking for a sit-down restaurant at the mall and chose this one. On a Sunday afternoon it was pretty empty, which was nice. I wanted to order the seared ahi salad, but they were out. I chose the simply grilled seasonal salmon instead. It was alright. The salmon itself was good, but the overall dish was a little odd to me. Probably the balsamic vinegar that was drizzled on everything. I'm not the biggest fan of balsamic vinegar and it wasn't listed on the menu item. My friend ordered the fish & chips and said they were good. To drink I ordered the blackberry basil lemonade, which was really good! I don't remember which drink my friend ordered, but her straw didn't reach the bottom of her glass. She said the drink was good though! They do have a large drink menu and offer quite a few cocktails. Overall, this was a fun place to meet for lunch and spend a couple hours. I would go back and try something else on the menu.

Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.

They were ready for us when we arrived and sat us downstairs, which was really cool! The vibe and esthetic of the entire restaurant was pretty unique. The booth chairs were very soft, and a little uncomfortable compared to the table height as you sink into them. Our waitress was kind, but had a weird attitude. Someone ordered an Americano (from the menu) to which she said they didn't have espresso... she ended up bringing the Americano to him without any explanation. It was just a little odd. Someone ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and they were good, but I wouldn't order them again. A lot of people ordered the burger, which was overcooked for almost every person and definitely didn't seem like wagyu beef. The steak sandwich I got (pictured) was good, but it came with lettuce that had really long stems. I don't particularly enjoy eating stems, so that's as annoying. The rest of my food was delicious. ESPECIALLY the garlic aioli. I could drink that stuff! The cost did seem fair for the quality of food, but a few adjustments could be made to the cook and such. We enjoyed our time and I will definitely go back! Hopefully for some drinks next time!
