Rescheduled the first time I had already driven 30 miles round-trip. I got there and they rescheduled me too busy. The third time going there they tried to charge me $61 for a diagnosis and said that they couldn't work on the car because it wasn't leaking when they looked at it. Come on I the photo and the written statement from the other business. I griped about the $61 so finally there was no charge.. The mechanic was a sour push. The owner was a stoic . Guy named Bruce who has a walking machine set up in his office, acts full of himself and frankly just odd, tries to upsell me on a number of services for my car that my car doesn't need, while he's perched behind his computer. Car is a Mercedes, I own several and I know what the costs are for services. He sends me a beefed up bogus estimate for a transmission service, saying the car needs new spark plugs, must be in the shop several days, although the guy NEVER even looked at my car. When I tell him that I don't want this or that based on the stupid high costs he quoted me, he becomes indignant and tells me he won't do anything with the car. Guy is an oddball, don't know if he is one of the owners or what he is, but if you have a nice well maintained European car, you don't want to go to this oddball place.

It was a great experience: convenience of a loaner, on-time service, honest review of service needed and what should be done soon. The difference being that the dealer seemed to upcharge on what is needed and what coud be done. Their overhead charges and labor costs were extreme as well. That said, Autowerks charges a fair amount on labor and additional "Phantom" time did not appear on my bill. Give them a try.
