They charged me $100 for a diagnostic service, said I need a distributor and installed a used part that was defective. When I returned in a couple days and said the vehicle wasn't running right they said it would be $100 for another diagnostic. I told them it was the same problem and they were rude to me and wouldn't help. They even accused me of trying to get a freebie! I took my vehicle to another shop where I discovered that the part they installed was old and defective. They charged me $650, and as a person on disability, I can't afford to be ripped off!

Ronnie, the owner, is the most honest mechanic I've come across. He would never ever do anything to intentionally screw people over, unlike some mechanics in the area. If something goes wrong, I promise on everything I love he was not trying to scam you or do it on purpose. If your car has been to 5 shops and can't get fixed, it's probably not the 6th shop's fault. Sounds scary apparently - it's the easiest oil change in the world, you don't even need to jack it up. I just have a broken back and can't get down on my knees without great effort. First they will tell you they are just a tech and they don't give prices over the phone. It's a 5 minute oil change, you have a price. Just tell me $100 due to the luxury tax and I would have gladly driven down. Then they will tell you that they won't let you provide your own parts... I'm not going to wait for you to order a filter and oil from overseas when I have the oil and filter here, preordered! Once you tell them that they say they are afraid to scratch it. This isn't an expensive car, and that's what insurance is for. If you're afraid you're going to scratch this, I assume I can't take any of my other cars to you either? Who would have thought a competent shop would be so hard to find? Luckily a guy down the street was the exact opposite. Said he would love the chance to wrench on an oldie and he charges $20 bucks if I bring the supplies. Problem solved.
