I went for the yearly required NC State Inspection. My expectation, when I drove in, was that I would have to set an appointment for this service but to my surprise, they went ahead and signed me in for the inspection. The clerk at the counter was professional and polite, and not just towards me. I heard the same as he was dealing with other customers. The waiting area was roomy and clean, and as anyone that has ever waited for auto service at some garages, can be a rare thing to find. My car inspection was done with a minimal wait. I took my 2008 jeep to get serviced and I am amazed by the customer service. They were very up front and were very reason with their prices. I am especially amazed with their assistant manager Jeff Sutton. Jeff Sutton was very very kind and made me feel very comfortable. He also reassured me that my jeep was just fine. Went in for an oil change as a walk in. They got me in and out fast. Friendly service. Reasonable prices

I was having car trouble miles from home and was lucky enough to find Pugh's. My oil gauge was fluctuating and my VSC lights were on so I was pretty stressed. Justin asked one of his mechanics to check my oil, which he did, and then he added some. Justin talked to me about the lights and which parts might need to be replaced by my local mechanic. I wasn't charged for the oil, which I was very grateful for. I walked in a bundle of nerves about my vehicle, and because I was meeting an online connection for the first time. I told Justin about my meeting and he was very supportive, even saying he'd keep an eye on me when I was picked up, in case I felt negative vibes. He couldn't have been kinder! Pugh's is far from my home but if my vehicle isn't in dire straights, I'd go back because this is the kind of place that deserves my business. (I'm actually Sandra Lee from Raleigh. I limped into this place with a flat tire. I had seen the one review so figured I would give it a shot instead of Walmart across the street. They got my truck in within 10 minutes and evaluated my tire. They showed me and explained to me several options. They could put the spare on or sell me a tire but they advised against me buying a tire. I have a full sized spare and they thought that would be the better option. They changed in within 10 minutes and didn't even charge me. Honesty, customer service and caring are the reason I will be driving 70 miles out of my way when I do need to replace all four tires. I took my car to this place twice and both times I was unsatisfied with their service. The first time they was supposed to have fixed my horn and cruise control on my car, although it did start working again, they did not place the parts back together properly, it was a very unprofessional looking job and when I went back to them to fix the issue they tried but still didn't put it back together like it was when I brought it to them. On the second go around I sent my car in by a friend to have an oil change done. I called first to see what the price would be so that I would know what to write the check for and was told $39.95 plus tax and the tax depended on what brand the car was, whether it had to have synthetic oil or not. At that time I felt like it was all about a money gimmick but anyways I sent my car in to have it done and they charged $67 for an oil change and did not mention the full price until after the work was done. I will never go to them again because I feel like they will try to get over every time, especially if you are a female. read more

It's great having a local and honest tire dealership with service technicians that are friendly and knowledgeable. I was treated with respect and all my questions were answered.
