Total immaturity and embarrassing. The "manager" couldn't have represented this store any worse…read morethan what she did. Obviously frustrated that patrons were intervening the store 18 minutes before the posted closing time of 8:00 PM, she loudly and rudely proclaimed to those entering that We're closing at 8:00 PM sharp so if you want to order to go you can but we're closing the store. She instructed one of her workers to inform anyone entering the store beyond "right now" that Lit is closed. The time is currently 7:49 PM. She answered the ringing phone and was totally dismissive to the caller blowing in disgust into the phone in frustration. She verbally commented that she was short handed and was on her period! She turned away an entering patron at 7:51 PM, yelling across the store "Ah, we're closed!!!!" This is probably the most unprofessional behavior displayed by a "manager" I've ever seen. Someone that she obviously knew just entered the store and picked up a pizza. As he was leaving he stated "oh, I need to pay for this" she replies "don't worry about it baby" and he left the store with his free pizza. I'm almost amused at this point that the owner hired this young woman to manage the store. From what I've observed, the owner lost an estimated $50 in sales with the two groups of patrons the manager turned away before the posted closing and the FREE pizza the manager gave to her friend. In front of all of us who had just paid for our food. Crazy!!!!!!!

Very disappointing customer service and management. I placed an online order and forgot to select…read morelight sauce on my Detroit-Style pizza. I fully acknowledged that I made that mistake when ordering. However, when I received the pizza, it had far too much sauce for me to enjoy, so I politely asked if anything could be done. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do because I ordered it incorrectly online. The situation was then escalated to the district/general manager. The employee handed me her personal cell phone with the district manager on the line, and instead of the situation being handled professionally, I felt as though the district manager was trying to firmly "put me in my place" over what was simply an honest ordering mistake. The district/general manager made it a point to tell me that next time I need to order it correctly because remaking my $13.99 pizza would cut into their inventory and essentially turn it into another $13 loss. I'm sorry, but why is the company's inventory loss being presented as my problem as the paying customer? I wasn't asking for free food or trying to scam anyone. I paid for my food and simply wasn't satisfied with the pizza I received. Yes, I made a mistake when ordering, but mistakes happen. I acknowledged my mistake from the beginning. Good customer service should not turn into an argument or a lecture about how much money the company loses by accommodating a customer. The pizza was eventually remade, but the attitude throughout the entire situation was completely unnecessary. When I asked if my other food could be kept warm while waiting for the replacement pizza, the manager even told me that she could have had me removed from the store. I was not being disruptive or disrespectful. As someone who works in the pizza industry myself, I understand food costs and inventory. However, I also understand that customer satisfaction and professionalism matter. The way this situation was handled made me feel as though management was more interested in proving a point and putting a customer in her place than simply resolving an issue. I will be reporting my experience to corporate.
