Lit is one of my favorite pizza places! For some reason it just feels healthier than other pizza places in my brain. Maybe it isn't but I'm not going to do the research last time I went I was very excited bc it's been a while since I'd been. The guy making my pizza was kind of rushing us. I asked for ricotta on my pizza (try it it'll change your life for the better) and he put it on there and before he put it down I asked if he could put a little more. The man ROLLED HIS EYES at me and then acted like he was mad at me the rest of the time I was ordering. It was super uncomfortable. I don't need to be coddled or treated like I'm special just for existing but like don't make me feel bad for asking for an ingredient on my pizza?? lol. long review so tldr: very good price & value, never disappoints, customizable, inexpensive, usually good service i'm telling you, this is one of my favorite places of all time, and arguably one of the best pizza places in baton rouge (and gonzales). I'm not the biggest fan of thin crust pizza until I come here. When this place first opened, we came here a lot. Nice and clean, very polite workers and very convenient. As they became more popular, we noticed that the crust was coming out barely cooked on the inside. The outside looked toasted, but the inside was always gooey. We ordered calzones a few times and they were very gooey on the inside. It seems they sped up the processing time in order to service more people. We didn't realize how bad this was until we went to a lit pizza in Zachary and were surprised at how delicious it was. Upon inspection, we saw that the crust was completely cooked through and through. We get out pizza elsewhere now, but just this morning my wife decided to give this place another try and sure enough when she gets home takes a piece. The inside dough is all gooey yet again. I love LIT. I do not know why LIT is capitalized. Maybe it is because I am always so happy when I get it, I yell "let's go to LIT" to my co-workers. LIT is a quick service, make your own, or order off the menu type of pizza place. They have numerous menu items but can make pretty much whatever you want. It is then thrown in the oven and ready in a very short time. Here are a few things that set LIT, particularly this location, apart: Cauliflower crust - Unlike many pizza places, this is an actual low carb crust. Other pizza stores claim to have a cauliflower crust but they are as high carb as regular dough crusts. LIT's is legit. The employees - The employees of this location are amazing. They often remember my order before I place it. They are friendly, knowledgable, and fun to be around. Next time I will try and get their names so I can properly thank them in this review. The pizza - Buffalo chicken pizza, add ham, and when you think you have added enough jalapenos, add more. Trust me on this. This is a damn good pizza. In addition to this one, they also offer monthly specialty pizzas. I have tried several but April's Pancho and Lefty (Brisket) is delicious. Lit Pizza is Lit!!!!!!! For real! Lit pizza is like Subway but for pizza. So when you walk in there is a menu on the board with options or you can build your own I opted to build my own. I had white crust, marinara sauce (I asked for extra sauce) mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon. I had a cookie too and a pomegranate lemonade. Everything I had was Lit! The service is quick! The ingredients look fresh and it's delicious! I literally may go back tomorrow because it's just that good!!!!! I don't see how there is anyway you can be disappointed! I just got home after dining-in at the Bluebonnet location of Lit Pizza. It was the worst pizza I've actually ever had - although it might be due to my experience and who was taking care of me. I got a pepperoni, italian sausage, bacon, and green bell pepper pizza, that's all. It was floppy and it didn't taste like any of the ingredients were fresh - in fact, it tasted like they, the ingredients, had just been defrosted from the freezer. The ingredients tasted old. Not to mention, whoever made my pizza, needs an attitude and reality check - I believe her name was Leah. She was so rude to me and had a smart mouth (she was being snarky and passive aggressive with her words). I've never in my life disrespected a food-service worker because I understand what it's like - I used to be in food industry.. but she really took the hate out of me. I mean all I did was walk in and I was getting attitude like I had just spit on her shoes. I wasn't even the only one she was giving attitude to. The way she treated her peers around her was disgusting. To disrespect your manager and the people around you HELPING you, is diabolical to me. By the time I even got to expo, I barely wanted my pizza - much less wanted to sit and eat it. She took my appetite along with my happy mood. You need to clear that up because you aren't only going to lose tips, but business. Why tip when someone is shoving THEIR bad attitude in your face? Especially when I've been cordial and are clearly not the reason you're agitated. If you're aggravated, don't bring that to work. Highly unprofessional, I don't care how old she is - she needs to learn her actions have consequences because clearly she doesn't know that yet. She's going to give attitude to the wrong person one day and REALLY regret it. So clean her up or fire her, her behavior was nothing like how an adult should act. Just childish. read more

We ordered to go and when we arrived at pick up, there was still a bit of a wait. Not a big deal! My biggest issue was the saddest little plop of arugula that was on top of my pizza. I tell you what---I am not sure if I am getting bang for my buck but here is a pizza joint---thin crust, personal pizzas---or calzones--where you receive your order quickly with freshly prepared pizzas with fresh ingredients in an open style restaurant/dining area. Over the last several months I have dined at this location 5 or so times and each time I have left satisfied with the food and visit. The staff has always been polite and courteous and food was ready in a very short period of time. What more can you ask? As for the menu, they have 8-10 offerings all described in the modern way of trying to provide a descriptive and distinctive offering when it's just a pizza with mostly familiar toppings like all pizzas have had through the years. In the alternative, you can build your own pizzas which is just as easy. I expect to be back here again and on a regular basis. read more

I just discovered bbq sauce on pizza and it's amazing! You walk in and the menu board is on the side. Then you choose from the different sauces they have. Then it's cheese time. Then a second worker takes you through meats and veggies. Then they fire up your pizza while you check out. Everyone has always been really nice. The place is clean. Tbh I underestimated LIT. I can eat almost an entire extra large pizza by myself on my hungriest nights. So my initial thought was, "Will this fill me up? Or am I going to feel like I just had a snack?" Long story short, I couldn't even finish it! I love the idea of building your own pizza. I'm the person that asks for everything on sandwiches, pitas, burritos, I want it all! And being able to customize my own pizza, with however much sauce, and however little of anything else, is great. It was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be back. My toppings were Italian sausage, ham, & pepperoni with banana peppers, pineapple (yes pineapple belongs on pizza ), mushrooms, red onions, cilantro, & balsamic vinegar drizzle. I was actually impressed with how everything blended in so well! I was afraid the balsamic vinegar was going to overpower everything, but it worked out well! The crust is always undercooked even when we ask for extra cooking time. The flavor of the crust is no longer good. Over all the ingredients seem to be lower quality. read more

Lit pizza used to be really good, but the last 3 times I've had it, not so much. It's just gone down over time. So inconsistent on toppings, crust and cook time. Dough has been soggy, even when asking for extra crispy. I've even tried asking for light cheese, but still soggy. It's just been meh.
