Placed my order with Door Dash last night, but called Door Dash to cancel the order because we needed to add more to the order. I spoke with Door Dash and Mr Gati's about the canceled order. Both Door Dash and Mr Gati's confirmed the cancelation. Went back on Door Dash and placed another order, 3 times the $ amount from the first time. Later I received a text from Door Dash that the food was delivered. What was delivered was the canceled order. I called Door Dash about this problem. Door Dash customer service person called Mr Gati's on my behalf to see what he could work out. The Door Dash customer service person came back on the phone and said he was so sorry. Since Mr Gati's gave the Door Dash driver the canceled order, Door Dash was not able to send another driver out since the order was confirmed delivered. I called Mr Gati's and was told that I needed to pick it up, there was nothing they could do. He was not very supportive just a matter of fact. Door Dash is for the convenience of people plus other reasons. I was not able to drive. Some of us went to bed hungry!! This was not good!. read more

Me and Kenn really enjoyed having lunch her today. It was our first time being here so it was cool, laid back and the staff was nice. The prices were very reasonable for an all you can eat buffet. They had a variety of pizzas, desserts and salad toppings. Everything was made fresh and to order. The restroom was clean, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was good. Around the pandemic this location closed and was remodeled. It reopened in 2021 I think. Yesterday was the 2nd I ate here since the remodel. Yesyerday around lunch it was perhaps 75%---85% full yet the tables were cleared if they were open, there was plenty of pizza on the buffet and it was clean- All good and positive things. Cost for buffet and drink is around $13---if you are over 61 years of age or under 18 years old, the cost is discounted. The cashier was polite and engaging. The buffet has 3 stations meaning a spaghetti/pasta station, a salad station and a pizza station. As far as I am aware, desserts here are in the form of pizza toppings/crust so dessert items are located with the pizza station. I was there for the pizza only and in my 2 trips there pizza offerings were plentiful---oh yeah, it should be noted when you pay at the beginning the cashier asks you if you have any pizza requests. In my opinion the pizzas choices were varied and many although there were more "pan pizza" type offerings than "thin crust" offerings but perhaps no one asked for thin crust. I was a Gatti's pizza fan before the pandemic and I remain a Gattis pizza fan so I give 5 stars based on that and my 2 dine in experiences over the last 14 months. read more

When you hit up a place like Mr. Gatti's, you know it's time make use of those stretchy pants. With Mr. Gatti's fresh off of a renovation, I had a feeling they were ready to step their game up. The customer service is good as soon as you walk in the door. When you pay for a buffet, they even ask you if there's a specific pizza you want made. The lunch buffet is okay. I cannot say that the pizza is high-quality. It is great that they make them fresh for the buffet, but the ingredients are pretty low quality. If you want pizza, salad and pasta for lunch though and do not have much time for lunch, I highly suggest this place for that! This is the worst Mr. Gatti's I have seen. It's very small, the salad bar was not well stocked. The salad bar is so high up, my adult daughter had to ask for assistance. It is not disability friendly at all. The game room is very small and not really suited for the toddlers. I chose this place over Chucky e Cheese because of my experience with other Mr. Gatti's. I've been eating at Mr. Gatti's all my life. When I was a kid we used to come here after football/soccer/basketball/baseball season and we would all have contests to see who could eat the most pizza slice. We also used to go to the old LSU location after a night of drinking to get our hangover pizza fix. These days I tend to avoid buffet pizza places due to my not wanting to increase my already ample waistline, that being said, this is as good a place as any to do it. They fill the buffet often and will make any pizza you request. The only place comparable to Mr. Gatti's is Johnny's Pizza, and as I said in my review for Johnny's, it's really personal preference to which you will prefer. It's definitely better than CiCi's though as the quality is much higher. read more

The pizza really wasn't that good and their selection ran out fast! I went up to grab another piece and there was nothing at the bar. I asked if there was more pizza coming out soon gesturing towards the empty buffet and I was asked if I ordered a specialty pizza because the girl didn't hear/understand me. There were not a lot of people there for them to have no pizza available. The spaghetti was over cooked. I couldn't finish it. The cinnamon sticks were pretty good though. Probably won't go back.
