Ambiance: Very nice bar area and a great selection of bourbon and various other liquors. I was there for a business meeting, but will definitely have a drink next time. Service: Great service, waitress was very attentive. Pizza was pipping hot when she brought it to our table. Food: Tried the brussel sprouts with hummus and had the client I was with wanted cauliflower pita. It was actually a good alternative for those wanting GF option. They do have cauliflower crust for pizza too. I got a pepperoni and spicy Italian sausage with onions and bell peppers. Pizza was fantastic! I live in BR and very picky about pizza spots. When one thinks of Maurepaus, one may not think of a thriving food scene but this place is giving that a run for its money. While it's pizza and more, it's pizza done right which makes a difference. The place expanded into the old Saritas Asian building and they stay busy. We had a little wait and then more of a wait to get a server but when they got to us everything was fine. Both of the pizzas we got were fresh and the ingredients were not slacking. I do wish they had more options for wing sauces. Also, the drink list and the liquor offers are massive so you will find something to match your pizza of choosing. read more

Just happened to be passing through and stopped here. It's really good, service is spectacular and they even have gelato. We just got pizza. If you're a pizza snob, ask for a little extra bake. We went on a Saturday night and they were pretty packed but except for the noise you wouldn't know. Our waitress was very friendly and happy to help us decide what to eat. We ordered cheese sticks and calzones. All was very good. Next we ordered pizza and was better than what you get most anywhere else. I ordered the one with all the meat and to take home a BBQ chicken. Dessert was also good. Our kids had ice cream and I had the bread pudding. Not as traditional as I am used to but still good. Overall it's worth trying and maybe even a once a month for us if we lived closer. read more

A good friend of mine visited this restaurant a little while back and the service was not at all up to par to his standards. He believes in tipping what the service is worth, another server had to get the drinks since the first one messed up several things. He ended up tipping $1, after tipping the OWNER asked if he was broke. This is very unprofessional especially in the customer service industry. Today we tried to walk in and enjoy some nice pizza for lunch on a wonderful Monday. I called in my order of 2 pizzas. Generally it's ready when you walk in the door. I received a text saying my order was ready. When I got to the counter the one was ready but the other pizza was never sent to the kitchen. I waited 20 minutes for the other pizza while the first pizza sat on the shelf. The menu had lots of options for a pizza restaurant. We started off with the cheese bread appetizer - the butter sauce is to die for! For dinner, we split the Greek salad and the Spinach Salad and a couple of male-your-own pizza combinations. The ingredients were super fresh and the pizza sauce was excellent. Excellent Pizza, Pasta, great appetizers, and a very impressive bar and liquor selection. they recently added a few new items as well and we were impressed. Went there last night for dinner after a day of being on the water and drinking. This was exactly what we needed. Started with a top shelf margarita and the piper special. We had both the garlic butter and marinara not sure what was better. Then we split the supreme pizza sub spicy sausage for the regular one. It was so good. Service was great and prices were awesome. Wednesday is Wine Night! OMG! Fantastic. 1 bottle of wine, 1 very generous sized salad, and 1 12" pizza... plenty enough food to satisfy two people all for one unbeatable price. The Joyful Salad is absolutely delicious and is beautifully presented. The pizza is amazing and almost euphoric as your senses see, taste, and smell the freshness and quality of the ingredients. To all those Idiots who kept telling me how good Diversion Pizza was...... I was wrong and you were Correct. It's the best Pizza I've found in Louisiana. The restaurant is nicely lit and very, very clean. The Food was Great. The Service was Great. I have one comment and one question. We were seated on a 2 top right and I mean Right On Top of another table. Thankfully the neighboring people were great, but, if the restaurant isn't completely full - I'd like a 4 top with a little space between other tables. I almost refused the table and would have refused the table except it would have looked like we didn't want to sit by the people beside us. Sliding into the booth side included having to momentarily put my behind in their space while getting seated. It was too close. Question...... we got a 1/2 Supreme 1/2 Meatlovers. As I was watching the pizzzas arrive around us I noted that they were all a very thin crust. I was surprised when our pizza arrived with a more traditional crust. It was the only one I saw all night with that crust. It was good, great even. Being a Columbus pizza guy I would have preferred the Tavern Style thin crust. How do we get a thin crust? read more
