I would compare this pizza to a papa johns or pizza hut. We ordered two small pizzas and two drinks. So we did delivery which took about an hour but the guy brought it to our room - how awesome. The delivery driver was also very nice. I did hit thr button multiple times for some ranch but it didn't seem to want to add it (I thought it did). The website takes a bit to figure out. I am not sure if i would order again will have to check out the other options in town. The thick crust is more of just a regular crust and their regular crust is closer to a thin. The pizzas were not bad and the seafood one had a nice little kick. I personally would order the thick crust. The website does give you many options of how you like your crust cooked and cut once you figure it out (probably easier on a computer vs phone). read more

Solid spot! My family of four goes here more than I like to admit. My two sons and I get the lunch buffet after Church on Sunday and my wife usually gets the muffuletta flip. The food is consistent, so you know what you're getting every time you go. Thats important for me, nothing worse than never knowing if a place is going to have "good food" or "not so good" depending on who's cooking that day. Lastly, they have super friendly staff! Morris is always so kind and takes the time to recognize us and say hi. He helps make Johnny's a delightful place to be, he really makes people feel welcomed. Johnnys is a Monroe staple..... and our native roots crave each and every time we come in town for a visit! Same great taste and options. Memories flood our thoughts as soon as we enter. Fun fact.... They really are home to the sweep the kitchen. Be warned that when you move out of the NWL area and try to order a sweep the kitchen say...... Fayetteville, AR the peeps will look at you and bit crazy and point to their broom! (Speaking from experience). Johnny's Pizza has always been a staple of what pizza should be in this area. As of lately it just doesn't taste the same as it used to. Pricing has gotten very expensive to what it used to be. I understand that inflation and basic costs have increased, but it's getting a bit too expensive. Service is off and on but more on than off. I could not imagine it being the place that my friend enjoyed so much. However, I'm always down to try new things, regardless of how it looked. It did not disappoint. The staff greeted us when we got in, and I just felt at home. It seemed like I was just about to bake and eat a pizza at my house. The staff was friendly and attended to us. The wait time was relatively short as well. We got our food and sat down and ate in less than an hour. The pizza was very good. I got a meat lovers equivalent pizza there. Everything just felt like it belonged. The toppings didn't overshadow one another. The sauce had a hint of spice with the sourness of tomato. The pizza crust was also flavorful. I think it had a hint of garlic in it. This pizza had one of the better crusts to it, and it was thin. I think that's a win in my book, but I definitely did not have had the whole experience as I hear that the buffet is where it is at. I suggest people try it out and see if they like it. Absolutely horrible. Unable to take an order by phone. The person on the phone claimed it was to noisy. We had to drive to the 18th Street location to place an order. After waiting 45 minutes our order still was not correct. The workers and manager did not seem to care at all. The place was full of fighting teenagers and squalling babies. Johnny's used to be very good both in product and service. After this experience we will simply go elsewhere. If I could give them negative stars I would. Johnny Huntsman would not be pleased. While driving home we decided to eat elsewhere and return these two pizzas. With the uncaring staff attitude we could not feel comfortable that our food was sanitary and safe to eat. We enjoyed trying Louisiana's chain pizza restaurant and we all enjoyed it. The wait time was a bit before somebody took our order- they were all talking, it's understandable with young staff. We shared a cheese pizza, veggie pizza, bread sticks and cheese sticks. When the pizza was brought to the table the server told us it was made with love- that's cute. There was no buffet and it can be a bit pricey for a chain pizza place. We enjoyed everything and it tastes better than Cicis does. I would go back if we drove through again. read more

Went to Johnny's on 18th in Monroe for lunch today with our extended family. We all got the buffet and everyone enjoyed the food. Our group ran in age from 5 to 93, and everyone found things they liked on the buffet. They kept the buffet filled with fresh food, and there was never a wait for hot pizza. read more

As a native of Monroe, Johnny's Pizza is simply a staple food. Even when moving out of town, Johnnys was always on the list of places you had to eat while you were home. I tried Johnny's on a recent visit to Monroe, when I was looking for a local place to eat. My coworker and I agreed that their pizza was one of the best we've ever had. We had the "sweep of the kitchen," and the name says it all (although we asked them to hold the anchovies). Crispy crust, great balance of ingredients, not too oily, and the service was courteous and friendly. If I could give less I would. I am not a hard person to please and my reviews generated have been good. Nothing in the dirt or even close. But that has changed today. I think Johnny's Pizza is great pizza!!!! Never been disappointed. Usually I order from the old Sterlington site. Today I found myself closer to the new place on 18th street. Only 3 minutes away. Placed my online pickup order at 5:26pm. Told pickup would be ready at 5:56. No problem. Show up at 5:55pm and it wasn't ready, not a problem. Would be a few more minutes. THAT'S where the problem started. 10 minutes go by, nothing. The sweet girls behind the counter checked again. Not ready yet. Another ten minutes, they check, not ready yet. Another ten minutes go by, nothing. I am almost livid by this time. Not hollering or making a spectacle of my self, just PISSED! Talk to the manager, apparently my order ticket got lost. It was in the system. SO!!!! One hour and 15 minutes later I get the pizza. Do yourself a favor and save time, order from another Johnny's location. read more

You just can't beat Johnnys. I'm a typically very healthy eater, but when I want a good "cheat" meal that won't disappoint, I go for Johnnys sweep the kitchen. Their cheesy bread is also to die for! Pizza is ALWAYS hot and fresh, made to order. Spend about 3 extra bucks than the other pizza chains and you won't regret it. Their cookie pizza is also heavenly, my daughter had one recently and I had a bite. Like a huge warm chocolate chip cookie! I placed an order on 8/3/2017 @ 12:17 pm @ the McKeen location. Went to pick up the order and paid @ 12:44 pm. I ordered 2 meat flips with cheese and pizza sauce. After I paid only one flip was ready. The lady at the front went to check and she had to place the uncooked flip in the oven. Didn't say anything just kept ringing up customers. Then the lady in the back pulled the flip out of the oven undercooked and was ready to slice and serve until the lady at the front told her that wasn't done. I asked for a refund. This is a wonderful pizza place. They are a bit expensive as pizza goes, but if you are visiting, you best not pass up the experience. The lunch buffet is great, but nothing beats a sweep the kitchen (large) to have all to yourself. If you are here during crawfish season, you best have a sweep the swamp.
