This place is gross. I have picked up orders on two different occasions, and both times there was multiple pieces of hair on top and bottom of the pizza. Ok....was throughly impressed with this pizza joint. We ordered 5 large pizzas for our big group at a nearby air BNB. Although the quoted time was incorrect and it was 20 minutes behind what they quoted, the taste and deliciousness made up for it. The gal working the window was very sweet and thanked us for our patience. We tried sausage, pepperoni, extra cheese, the meaty and cheddar and mozz. This location doesn't taste as good as the others. Also, I've been here several times and my order is wrong or they've charged me wrong. I'd personally choose another location to avoid the annoyance, but it's not terrible. read more

This review is purely for something in life called 'PEACH PUDDING'. We ordered in from here when we were dead tired and my sister I don't think wanted to move after almost drowning in the river. The pizza is really nothing to write home about. It tastes like dominoes as does most pizza in suburbia in the rest of the country I tend to find. For our pizza we just went with ham and pineapple. I've finally found someone else in life (my sister) that will share in my sick sick delights in life. Oh, there was also a muffaletta sandwich somewhere in there. I was drunk off of a white russian slurpee so my memory of that is somewhat faded. Moving on. PEACH PUDDING PIE. When I was asked if I ever had it and that I needed to try it before leaving, folks weren't kidding. This is like crack. Desert pizza crack. I have no idea what goes in this. Are there real peaches in it? It tastes cream cheesy, but warm, with cinnamon, there's some kind of fruit I want to believe but macerated up with the cream cheese onto the fluffy dough strips. Where does the word pudding come from? Is there pudding in this? I don't care. I'll have 4 more slices of peach pudding, please. Forget the pizza. Pizza who? Had a great visit for an affordable birthday dinner. The manager working the cash register was very friendly, as well as the other staff member who got us a to-go box. While the food is fairly decent as I usually get a classic cheese pizza their staff especially the one that runs the cash register is complete garbage. I thought a staff member shows respect to his or her customers well clearly I was lied to when people say that because as I was playing air hockey with a friend of mine the cash register and said "you suck" which is very unprofessional behavior. Not only that but the entire place just looks terrible not how it's built but keeping it clean. If you had an idea of a good pizza place to visit or celebrate a birthday pick another location of Johnny's for as this one next to ULM is the worst service I have ever seen in my life!! I am reluctant to admit that the first time I tried Johnny's, I was mystified by everyone's obsession with this pizza. My entire set of Louisiana in-laws along with the whole population of Monroe raves about this place. In fact, I was a little afraid to to tell anyone that I thought it was just "ok". When I did, I was met with cold stares and not a little hostility, and I daresay the husband was rethinking his choice of wifey. So I joined the Pizza Squad, received the email for a Free Personal Pan Pizza of your choice. After placing the order online, the code wouldn't go through. I called the restaurant and was advised I would have to come in and place the order then show the manager the coupon to get the free pizza since the coupon code says it's expired. I received the code at 3:47pm, tried ordering pizza online @4:01pm called it in at 4:07pm. Needless to say I don't think this Pizza Squad is going to be useful. Johnny's Pizza has been a staple in my family's life for last 40 plus years. Today, I stopped by this location for lunch because I was in that area. It is not my normal Johnny's. Customer service was nonexistent. I placed my order handed the counter person my debit card to pay. She stopped in the middle of taking my order and went to the other cashiers station and started helping her correct an order. All the while, I am still waiting and my debit card is in her hand. I wanted a salad. Lettuce bowl on salad bar was basically empty except for the scraps, that no one really wants. Ice empty. Then turn around and no where to sit. Dirty tables every where. This place is disgusting. There wasn't a single clean table in the place, and they weren't even busy. The floors look like they haven't been swept or mopped in a week. Most of the napkin dispensers on the table were empty. There were dirty rags under the drink table. I noticed that our cheese sticks were ready. I went to the counter to get them and the guy at the front who took our order refused to give them to us. He said he would bring them out if they were ours. What the..? I've been coming to this Johnny's for quite some time but it seems here lately it has gotten out of hand. A member of the staff hung up on me in the middle of me ordering for pick up. Then when we got there we told the girl at checkout and the guy that hung up on us started laughing with his coworker. The girl at checkout apologized but the guy was still very rude. As we were waiting for our pizza there was a group of people at a table yelling and having absolutely no respect for anyone else there. 30 minutes later when our food came, I had a migraine from the uncontrollable noise that was coming from that one table. Also every time I have been there has been someone asking me for money. In my opinion any place of business should have a certain standard of respect and obedience. Johnny's pizza is wonderful but at the Desiard location the store is FILTHY!!!!! My family and I will never go to this location again!!!!!!!! The workers there never greeted us after waiting to be seated for about ten minutes. There were 10 people in our party and we just left. We went to another establishment and service was great! The food is okay; my children likes to hang out with their friends at Johnny's"s pizza. My last experience was horrible. The cashier was rude and the manager was no better. We arrived a few minutes before 1:00 and requested to eat on the buffet. The cashier told me that the buffet was getting ready to end and that she couldn't let us buy the buffet meals. I asked why, and she stated because I might complain about not getting enough to eat. I told her their were plenty of food on the buffet. Still was ref fused. ..About ten minutes after we order our food another family came in and requested buffet think the reason they ask was because their were plenty of food on the bar. Cashier told them no as well.. Well, the men got a little loud and upset and requested to see the manager. The men and their family ended up purchasing meals. About four or five other family walked in and they too were granted to eat from the buffet. I spoke with the manager about this and she denied this happened. Of course I suggested she look at the orders made between 1:00 and 2:00 as well as look around and see all these people eating from the buffet. Her memory came back. Of course she then lied and stated, "no pizzas were put on the bar passed 1:oo pm". The more she lied the more upset I became. My children were highly upset because they had to settled for ordering 2 pizzas and salads versus the buffet. The manager (Billy) is extremely rude here. While the food is good, you usually have an extremely long wait. It doesn't matter how long you order ahead. If your order online, you are given one price. Once you get there, you are charged another price. Wow, I know this location is making Johnny Huntsman proud! The manager just argues with you over the price, and then asks you to leave. I guess after the customers quit coming, perhaps their headquarters will address the system's error and the customer service issues. read more
