7pm on a Thursday night, ordered a pick up via DoorDash. Ordering was a bit confusing but only because they had so many options to customize which I wound up appreciating. Upon entering the store I noticed it was mostly empty, but they had a large number of staff in the back fulfilling what I assume to be pick up and delivery orders. A couple different people asked if I've been taken care of, and I had and waited only a couple minutes for my food to be ready. Seems like a classic pizzeria experience, I could hear one group of people in a corner where I could not see that seemed to be enjoying themselves, and there was at least one person out front wiping tables keeping the place clean. So overall a good pizzeria ambience although almost empty at 7:30 on a Thursday night. My order was prepared and ready as ordered. They had a nice little topping station where I was able to dump Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes and black pepper on my pizza. First off I got the "sweep the kitchen" pizza 8 inch which was absolutely delicious & perfectly cooked. Ate the whole thing. Also got the small muffaletta, which was also good, but I was pretty full from the pizza I ate, but no complaints. Unlike me, I ordered the dessert pizza, a peach pie pizza, which I had very low expectations for, but was absolutely blown away. It was superb, the best dessert pizza I've ever had. It really was seriously delicious. So all this food for under 30 bucks was a very good deal. I hear that Johnnys is THE Louisiana pizza, I've never had it before, but believe it and I think they deserve their reputation. Will definitely return on a future trip to the area. read more

I've had much worse. Nothing special about it. Chain pizza, relatively thin crust, cut midwestern tavern style. Flavors were pretty good. I ordered the "veg out." Crust has a chain like taste but it wasn't soggy or over sauced. Overall pizza was well cooked and inexpensive. read more

While on a business trip to West Monroe, I ordered a 10" pepperoni and olive pizza and a 2 liter of coke. I did not want a 2 liter, but the store does not carry smaller sizes. My hotel is less than a mile from the store. I attempted to order online, but the site did not recognize the hotel address and would not let me order. I had to call to order which wasn't a big deal. The young lady I spoke with was very nice. The order arrived about an hour later and the driver was also very nice. The pizza was awesome. Great job on quality. I was really really hungry and had 2 flights to catch home to Miami so I had to eat prior. At first I was gonna go have sushi but I changed my mind. Came in, was politely greeted, and I said I wanted a whole muffuletta plus a medium soda (came out to a little over $19). I was impressed at the cleanliness of the location, ample parking for my truck, and in a few minute got the best muffuletta I've ever had. The Italian bread was buttery, soft, crispy, and hot, the Italian olive topping was ever delightful, and the gooey cheese and ham were on point. It's cut into 4 pieces, comes with 2 bags of chips, and I was really full and pleased after this. There's also a muffuletta pizza!!! I laughed when the local told me that this place is the best pizza around. This pizza is actually worse than Pizza Hut which I thought was an impossible task to achieve. Being from the east coast, I know good pizza and if this is the best you get here, I feel sorry for you. This is not pizza, stick with your crawfish and gumbo! read more

I ordered 2 pizza's a little while ago,3/7 my son picked them up, a sausage and a pepperoni. When he got there someone told him you had to remake them so he drove through 2 more times until he got them. By the time he got home, which is less than 3 miles away, the Pepperoni was cold and the sausage was so soggy you couldn't hold it. For 2 pizza's to have been remade, why were they so cold, and why was 1 so soggy. We order from Johnny's all the time and always get a different pizza but todays pizza was the worse to have to pay money for. What is going on why aren't your pizza's consistent anymore? To be told your pizza had to be remade, I was expecting a piping hot pizza. Really disappointed with this one. read more

If you're looking for a divey pizza place with early 80s decor, decent pizza at a fair price, and your choice of 2 American light/lite lagers on the cheap, then this is the place. I've been to this location a couple times and each time on approach I wonder if they are still open because I may be one of a few or the one car in the large customer parking area. Great non-traditional pizza that is crazy good. I was traveling through West Monroe, LA on a family trip and I make it a practice when traveling to let my foodie daughter pick where we eat a she just has a nose for really good places to eat. She picked Johnny's Pizza House in West Monroe, LA. We get there and supposedly ordered 2 pizzas, but only got one. The second one was on the house. So the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The pizza tasted amazing and the toppings were unique and different from any I have had at home in Fort Worth, TX or anywhere else for that matter. We had the Barbeque Blast and the Hog Heaven. Both were excellent and filled us up, all 5 of use. Service was great. They have the customer service part down right. They really are there to make a pizza for you and have you really enjoy it. So for great pizza in West Monroe, LA, got to Johnny's Pizza on Wallace Road. Awesome service, great tasting pizza, and great customer service. read more

Gosh, I would do anything right now for a slice of Johnny's. I've been living in Boston for nearly two years and still think about it allll the time. I have yet to find ANY pizza comparable to Johnny's in the Boston area...I'm actually starting to think I don't like any other pizza out there...Oh Johnny's, how i miss you, especially those at Wallace Rd. It's pizza on a conveyor belt, so it's automatically disqualified from being "the best pizza I ever ate", as another reviewer stated. Still, it's very good; definitely worth the price and a return visit. Maybe "best pizza in West Monroe" is more appropriate. You should eat here. read more

Were you guys high when you came here? Everything tastes better when you are high I guess. Not terrible pizza, but definitely not noteworthy or worthy of a 5 out of 5. A bit on the bland side, but I gotta say it is better then the current Pizza Hut type places. read more

Was told that the order would be ready in 20 min. Went through the drive through and was asked to make a loop after doing that twice order was still not ready. Drive through cashier was rude and very unprofessional. Will not return to this Johnny's again. read more

Ordered thin crust, meat lover. Pretty wimpy crust, taste was ok, certainly nothing extraordinary for what was charged.

We love local pizza places and Johnnys lived up to our hopes. Delish! Will eat here again when we are passing thru Monroe!

Love this place!!!! Definitely the best pizza around here. I like to either get there pepperoni pizza with black olives or the pepperoni flip (both are amazing). My parents get there sweep the kitchen which is also very good. I have never had a bad meal here. So if you are in Louisiana you should stop by and try it. read more
