I have family in Louisiana, so I've had Johnny's to go plenty of times, but this was my first time actually eating in the restaurant. The pizza is good, hands down, and it came out of the oven hot and fresh. The Sweep the Kitchen is amazing and it does exactly what the name promises. It has everything. If a topping exists in that building, it is on this pizza. We got a cheese pizza for the little ones and that was great too, and just as hot and fresh as ours. Then the dessert pizzas, peach and cinnamon, which are so good that I'm still thinking about them. The vibe was very busy. Maybe it was the after-church Sunday crowd, but this place was in overdrive. Most of the tables were full. The A/C was also in overdrive, in the sense that it was clearly trying its hardest and clearly losing. It was uncomfortably warm. Service was good. The restaurant was borderline dirty. I looked the other way and ate my pizza, because at some point you have to make a choice about what kind of person you're going to be, and I chose pizza. Definite recommend. Though next time, I may eat it in the hotel. read more

Food here is always 10/10 Regular breadsticks x cheese + large regular pepperoni pizza is my go to order! The muffaletta is pricey but you can get either a half/whole. There are many locations. Mr. Johnny was a sweet man! Kindly remembered. Service: Usually depends on how busy they are. Not the fastest but definitely not the slowest either. Ambiance: 8/10 Plenty of seating. Clean restrooms and nice amount of parking. Right across from the paper mill so you might catch a whiff... It's almost directly at the red light so yall use your blinker! lol read more

This is me - waiting for a delivery of a pizza I ordered at 6:26 PM. Note my time of photo is 8:30 PM. I was told upon calling 30-45 minutes. My second call at 7:36 PM. I was informed the pizza is out for delivery, but it usually takes 45-60!minutes .... okay.... I called again at 8:15 PM - asked if I should just cancel order and was told that they apologized, but a busy Friday night and the delivery should be there soon - the business is .09 miles away from our hotel. Negative numbers on Yelp PLEASE! Yep - just got off phone with Mgr- pizza ticket never printed and they never made them! This was Not a small order . Just got off of a 17 hour drive - 2 little ones should have already been sleeping and this disorganized mess tells me dinner will not be ready..... ever! We have always loved Johnny's...just plain pepperoni or sweep tha swamp it's good. Bring the kids you can't go wrong. We have been to this location several times and the staff is always great. In Louisiana there is not a better pizza place to go than Johnny's Pizza. I have grown up eating this pizza and I will continue to do so until the day I die! They have great specialty pizzas including the "sweep the kitchen(deluxe)," "hog heaven(heavy on the pork)," "sweep the swamp(deluxe Cajun style)," and Hawaiian(ham and pineapples)." They have great breadsticks. They have even better cheese sticks. There cinna-sticks are a nice sweet treat if you are in to desserts. You can get pizzas in 4 sizes 8", 10", 12", and 14". Trust me! It was 8:30 and we needed to eat somewhere quick. Jonnys was definitely the right choice for the night. Quick and easy, food was hot and fresh. I personally would not recommend the breadsticks for the lack of flavor but other then that the three pizza options we got where great! We also tried the peach pudding dessert and at first look it didn't look the best but definitely was a great way to end the night. read more

Not bad. Not the best ever. Didn't know it was thin crust and curious if there is other options that weren't offered. Also didn't know it was cut this way (in strips) and would have like to have the option there. Peoples minds get so adapt to things and even the way they cut the pizza can throw off the likability factor. Shoulda said "would you like that cut in dip strips or traditional"? (*coin the phrase too!) Also... I'm a BIG ranch guy, (as are a lot of millennials in my opinion) and this is just hidden valley squeeze ranch which is creamy and bla. It would be better if they made there own with the powder stuff, take a note from Jets Pizza. When I said "what do you recommend". The very nice lady (customer service was amazing and nice) she said "do you like shell fish"?... Even if I did I'm not calling a pizza place for them. And if I don't like them (or have an allergy) I will hang up because I'm envisioning everything touching sea food. This is a brand that has more potential than what they are reaching for in my opinion. But if growth is not the game plan than these need not apply! Johnny's Pizza House is a favorite for many locals. Growing up, my grandmother, a teacher, always had a discount card. My family ate at the Warren Drive location on a weekly basis. We order Johnny's for church events, office lunch + learns, family gatherings, and movie nights at home. When my friends come in from out of town, one of the first things they request is Johnny's pizza. It is more than just good food; we take pride in the tradition. The pizza has great flavor, and even though you save a few dollars on "party pizzas," it is well worth the money to order a specialty pizza. Johnny's sponsors and hosts many school events. West Monroe High School has football games every Friday night. I can still hear, "It's Friday night in Rebel Stadium." The student section always went to Johnny's Pizza House after a win AND after a loss. We can always rely on Johnny's and solid community. Johnny Huntsman was a great man who wanted to reach out to his community and provide the best food and service.
