A little over a week ago my driver spun a piston crank and limped into their establishment. They call me and tell me no metal in the oil so we should be able to fix it. We are all happy and a huge weight is lifted off of our chests. Next morning it is slammed back on it. Well no sir, the very sweet lady calls to say, we only checked on the dipstick and not the oil pan. You have plenty of shavings in your oil. Talk about bursting your bubble. So we are - Ok what are options? Well you can get a REBUILT motor for $30k or a new one from Dodge dealer for $40k. WHAT? let me give you a little background on me, I created and admin the largest Hotshot Trucking social media and internet Network in the USA, over 600k members, 30 groups, 5 websites, blah, - and I own a Hotshot Trucking Carrier of a few trucks. Point is we do this much more than we would like to admit, deal with shops, mobile mechanics, repair shops and know when we are dealing with a good one. Now don't get me wrong, nice ppl but Monticello residents, your being robbed. So I had one of my other drivers come pick up the truck, bring it back to Texas, get a new motor, Install it, with better components and design than original for under 13k in 4 days. Oh Monticello told me the motor gaskets were on a 45 day back order. Here in Texas they are easily available. BTW they charge over $600 just to take the oil pan off and tell us it had metal shavings in it. WTH? less than an hour of work. This is really shameful. So lets get to the nail in the coffin. So I had to send my driver all the way back from Houston Texas in my spare Ford F350 Super Duty, my personal favorite. On the way he said that the ac was not working right, blowing hot and cold. So I call the previous owner, a mechanical genius and he tells me what to tell the shop, to just add the correct amount of Freon and check compressor, etc. (SEE TEXTS ATTACHED). They respond ok. Please understand my driver is a large man, and has diabetic health problems, Him and his brother suffered greatly coming there and I wanted to repair that ac at whatever it cost to get it right. So he took it to them and told them it is not blowing COLD air and check it out. He told them that I had sent instructions too. One of the MAIN REASONS we trusted them, LISTEN TO THEIR HOLD MUSIC ADVERTISEMENT- THEY SAY THEY RUN A FULL DIAGNOSTIC, ARE VERY EXPEIENCED AND WARRANTY THEIR WORK ANYWHERE, so we THOUGHT we were in good hands. So they hastily install a $40 blower, charge us $551, tell us it is repaired and blowing cold air, WRONG- My driver calls me an hour and a half down the road, Boss the AC is NOT working at all, the people say that it isn't their fault, should I go back? I am having health issues and my Doctors appt is Wednesday. I really need to get home but I don't know if I can stand the heat w/o air, We would have to get another day at hotel. I text, call and the head mechanic with all of these years experience tells me that he didn't check, diagnose, run gauges, check Freon , nor did anyone give him my instructions. He admits he should of and that he knew better. Oh boy, I am between a rock and a hard place, My driver needs to drive over 1000 miles still, the fuel, the hotel, the lost time. Yes in my business each day down is about $1200 revenue. I weigh the options, I have top level REAL mechanics in Texas that KNOW what they are doing, do not take advantage or overcharge us. I tell my driver to come on I text the owner WHO NEVER RESPONDS after this. I would of at least gotten an apology or warranty they brag about. I am not someone to yell, cuss, blame others but I will do what I do best as a SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER of 600k followers and GOOGLE REVIEW TOP National LOCAL GUIDES with millions of views, TRUSTPILOT reviewer and a business man that will let the world know when they need to know the truth. My insurance tried providing me their approved shop list, but lo and behold, the list was out of date after calling around and I found out AFTER I had made the appointment. Well, I got a little tired of the run around and decided to go with a shop I knew did quality work. I started out at LaMettry's Inver Grove by my house for an estimate, and I was so happy that they would reach out within their network of shops to see if they could get me an earlier appointment. Now, Chanhassen isn't particularly close to where I live, but I figured it was worth getting the work done sooner. It was so nice to have them call and set up my rental car with my insurance and have it waiting for me when I dropped my car off! Everyone was so friendly, and even when my insurance was being difficult, Chad, the manager, helped me out and sent the paperwork in. I also really like that despite their parking lot being super full, my car was ready and done when they said it would be. Overall, super professional and great customer service!

There was a Tesla collision repair shop in the area, but I chose LaMettry's because they are a Tesla Approved Collision Center, they could start on the repair sooner, and I was able to make initial arrangements with a person rather than on-line. The car required structural repairs so it was transported to their Chanhassen shop and required three months to complete because of the double damage and parts availability. During that time Allen called me twice a week with updates. He also handled all contacts with both insurance companies. He handled coordination with the towing company insurance when I needed a rental car for a week. When I got the car back it was perfect. The new body panel gaps were uniform and symmetrical on both sides. The newly painted panels matched perfectly. Everything worked and the car was beautifully cleaned, detailed and delivered to my local LaMattry's shop for pickup. Thank you Allen. Highly recommended.

The disaster began when I took it to their repair shop were they clearly were not qualified, and painted it, stripped it and repainted it again. They gave me the car back 3 times being multiple colors. It took 6 weeks for them to give me a garbage paint job. It literally opened and cracked all over the side panels, hood, door panels. I spent months trying to work with John O'Sullivan, who owns the gas station, who just stopped answering, his friend Curt the owner of Collison would not take my calls, after promising to fix it for months. Curts front desk lady told me stop calling he is not going to bother calling you back nor will he fix it.I have pictures taken before, during and after from the Lexus dealership. I also have emails and photos of all the errors Collison Corners made. It is over $8,000 to repair at the dealership that actually knows what they are doing, and neither business will fix my car.
