I gave them my email address but got no receipt. I called to ask for a receipt. They told me first that they will send me a receipt in a week. I made an appointment with Safelite online later in the day and was so happy they were able to fit me in the next morning. When I arrived, the person who checked me in was very friendly and the technician I worked with walked my car with me and explained that the chips weren't actually deep enough to cause problems and I wouldn't need a true chip repair service, but he was happy to fill it in to help reduce the blemish. I truly appreciated the honestly and transparency. They had a busy day ahead of them, so for him to offer to help touch up the chips for me meant a lot. When I got the car back 15 minutes later, the imperfection was less visible and the technician told me there wouldn't be a charge, which completely made my whole day and was above and beyond on his part. She said she took photos to send to the quality team, but that the screen damage did not appear very well in the photos. I have been trying to get in touch with the location directly, but two different customer service reps have given me different numbers, and the third transferred me to a store location in Wisconsin. I am just wanting to send in my own photos to make sure the quality team has an accurate idea of what the screen looks like.
