For washing machines, there are several options: 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs, 60lbs, and 80lbs. The machines have 9 different modes with various temperatures. Washers and dryers all have card readers, which is nice . It is 24 hours a day, and there is a counter and people who work here, however it is not manned 24 hours. The lady I've interacted with has been very helpful. The first time I came I was trying to figure out how to set up the dryer and she came over and explained it to me. And I've seen her assist many others as well. There are two vending machines, one with snacks and one with drinks. There are two TVs with cable, one in each end of the facility. And the place is stocked with one public bathroom. The place isn't always super clean, especially the floors. Trash bins have been full or near full most of the time when I come here. But they do clean, they just can't keep up with the demands. It does get really busy and quite crowded on weekends, something to keep in mind. I would show up around 0700 or 08 at the latest to avoid the crowd. During the week it's much slower.

All sturdy and sterile looking, they've got big ones and bigger ones - all front loaders , my Maytag loaded from the top which still seems more logical than the middle - like R2D2 standing next to R2D3, similar but definitely different. I always liked the TIDE NASCAR car (2nd only to the M&Ms car) zip around the tracks in Houston Astros orange, so I dropped 4 quarters in that slot- thinking about the science of hampering. Although the internet here is fast enough, that stale fabric softener oderiferus emination is slight but unpleasant to my nose, so I tend not to stick around and watch my pants really roll. The quarters machine is always working -i hear that's an issue elsewhere, just hold the cup steady and pretend you hit Cherry Cherry Cherry on the one armed bandit as the avalanche of coins go "jingle jangle jingle" as they fall perfectly fitting your Dixie paper cup - if only they had a Missile Command or Robotron machine.. I'm also always consumed by the idea of pouring a excessive amount of detergent into the machine, set the controls to HOT and HIGH and let'er Rip. Fill the Lighthouse with bubbles to the ceiling, flicker the light switch (put the needle on the record) juggle the bubbles and spin within them like a spinny top.

So, I have checked out a handful of laundromats in the Lewiston/Auburn area and I've decided this is my favorite. (Disclaimer: I don't use the washers, only the dryers.) But, the nice lady who works there is very helpful and she recognized a new face when I walked in, so she gave me the run down of how to use the dryers. You can also leave your clothes for drop off and pick up. All the machines take cards or coins which is so handy. They are all pretty efficient, I've never waited more than 45 minutes for a huge load of clothes to dry. There's a couple folding tables, a handful of carts to roll around your clothes in and a TV playing your typical daytime shows. Most importantly, it's clean. The floors are clean, the machines are clean and even the parking lot is clean. I recommend.

Cost was reasonable for one semi-formal dress. I will definitely return to use their drying cleaning service.

Well, most everything thing is - at any given time a third of the laundry machines are out of order. They also eat socks. Their vending machine doesn't work and the limited seating they have is bent, causing one of the seats to slant towards the floor. The attendants are mostly nice and helpful when needed. There's one guy that's a little too friendly. The location is convenient. That's the only reason I come to this one anymore.
