Sometimes it wouldn't even restart. Anyhow, I had made up my mind to get it repaired when I was in Elkhart, IN after finishing up with my MorRyde maintenance visit. I googled Onan generator repair shops near me and these guys showed up. They were highly rated! I contacted Luis Arias and they were able to look at my unit on 7/17/26. He diagnosed the problem immediately, repairs were completed and I was gone within one hour and 20 minutes at the most. My controller board was bad and had to be replaced. He also installed a relay which would allow my generator to work with an aftermarket fuel pump in case I couldn't find an OEM pump. The repair costs was more than fair. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and know just what to look for! Now my generator runs like a champ! It's runs much smoother and quieter. I would highly recommend this company if you're in the Elkhart area and having issues with your on-board generator. They stay busy but he worked me in since I was so far from home. Top notch company! I was unaware of this until a month later I noticed hydraulic fluid seeping from the edge onto the frame. I checked fluid tank which was a quart low. I finally got it in for service July 15th in Dewey, AZ where they found the screw into the hydraulic line. After hydraulic line replacement and degreasing it cost me $1000.00. You simply cannot get better knowledgeable service at a reasonable price than at ESS. I just had a very long punch list done at ESS including new carpet throughout, replace a roof AC/Heat pump (along with ductwork butchered by a prior shop), new TVs/DVDs/Sound system in front and BR, replacement dash radio, Aladdin system resurrected from the dead, paint work needed from surface corrosion on the frames of all the slideouts, 4 new slide toppers, new generator exhaust, entry door window restoration, new CB/antenna and a host of service items including engine, generator, autoleveling and AquaHot systems, and more. Tom Bumpus and PJ McGann were simply awesome. The paintwork is a work of art ... you simply cannot tell it from the original and my paint is metallic gold which is extraordinarily difficult to match up. ALL of the work was awesome. After so many failed attempts locally to get quality work done near my home, it was worth the 2400 mile round trip to Elkhart. I easily spent more time and money locally over a year to get repeatedly disappointed in the quality of workmanship and the pricing, so the trip was well worth it. Tom and PJ have the knowledge, the experience and, most of all, the proper motivation to get it done right the first time.

I had a very frustrating experience with Elkhart RV Parts, totaling $372.99. I requested cancellation before the order shipped on September 1, 2026 and was later told in writing that the order was still paid but unfulfilled, with no tracking information or verified physical allocation. Their representative stated that my request for an immediate cancellation and full refund had been documented and sent for urgent review. Despite that communication, the order was shipped afterward. I was then told that my cancellation request was outside a one-hour window, that no refund would be issued, and that I would need to pursue a return after delivery. The issue was not simply the cancellation policy--it was the conflicting information and the lack of a clear, customer-focused resolution after I had been told my cancellation and refund were under review. Also keep in mind, an order was placed with them knowing the product wasn't available and that appears to be the case with most of their products. I am still seeking a full refund. Based on my experience, I would encourage other customers to confirm product availability, cancellation terms, and refund status in writing before placing an order. Keep in mind that will be difficult due to Elkhart RV Parts utilizing AI, doesn't have anyone to talk to, and will display products online that's not available.

I asked to be credited for the return shipping and to waive the 20% (you heard me right, 20%) restocking fee. I STILL never got that call back. Week 1- they delivered our 5th wheel to us with no power cord so we couldn't even use it for the first 3 days. Also window trim popping off on a lot of the Windows. I fixed it myself Week 2- led light over awning stops working - wasn't to worried about that figured I'd take it in for service at the end of the season. Week 3- water line to fridge was hooked up wrong flooding our 5th wheel and causing major trim damage- pulled the fridge and repaired it myself and figured I would have the interior repaired at the end of the season Week - 4 converter burns up /no power to unit -2 days before our 1st trip. Since the beginning we made a lot of calls to tiara before we even received our 5th wheel. Reason is because they would never communicate back and left you in the dark the whole time . There is no leadership in this company. From the parts Dept to Chris the finance manager and all the way to the so called owner Todd . They were all horrible to deal with. They do not care after the sale. They will put all blame back on the manufacturer . And take no responsibility for the lack of service they provide.

Incompetence and indifference a bad combo. Bought a used unit they had taken on trade. Unit well…read morecared for with low miles. Ensured multiple times how unit had been winterized, oil changed, and that unit was ready to roll. Asked twice if a pre-delivery inspection checklist was utilized. Ensured they did so, and that it was completely ready to go. Took unit straight to outdoor storage for 3 weeks and had several days of freezing temps. Weather warmed for a short time, so we used the RV. Discovered unit had not been winterized, grey tank was ~2/3 full, black tank ~1/3, no anti-freeze in pipes, oil not changed, generator exhaust pipe was hanging loose below unit, all tires low air pressure. Brought unit back expecting nothing more than an explanation of how this happened, an apology and a quick fix of these items. No apology, empathy or taking of responsibility. Reluctantly agreed to fix the items but made us leave it without a clear return date, which ruined our planned Thanksgiving trip. Upon pickup, thought we would get a better explanation and some kind of apology, maybe a wash of the RV to make us feel a bit better... but instead, more excuses, double talk, indifference and attitude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place... we are certain, the same stuff is happening with their own Phoenix products. Quality assurance and customer service would be evident throughout the company if they were important to them! Like Share
