I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy! Thier driver slammed my son's car repeatedly to get it off the tow bed and in turn it broke the axil and sent the struts through the hood of his car...now they are claiming that my son did this damage not them. ..there was witnesses to what their driver did. So my motorcycle's drive belt snapped last weekend. My insurance company gave me the runaround as I was trying to get a tow home from Henderson to Fort Collins, leaving me stranded literally all night. Other towing agencies didn't want to deal with it (I guess? I don't know. Over 20 other companies came up with excuses to not help), but John's put me on the schedule as soon as they were contacted. It took a bit for them to get a truck out to me, but that's no fault of theirs. I'm assuming it was because they were very busy that night (considering it took my insurance company 5 hours to even schedule something). John's was very communicative (texting me updates and not getting annoyed the couple of times that I called to double check the arrival time), and arrived right on schedule. David, the driver, walked me through everything he was doing and worked very quickly and thoroughly to secure my bike. No time was wasted getting my bike home, and the unloading process was just as seamless. I absolutely recommend this place. Give David a raise. read more

A second time! You people made me wait for two and a half hours again! And when I called you on it you said "our phones are ringing off the hook, I'm super busy." like that was an excuse! I've been sitting on the side of this road now thinking of ways that they could improve their business. But the list is so long that it would probably be easier for them to shut down and start over at something else that doesn't require customer service. I'm livid right now! read more

Broke down at Two Bears Tap and Grill late at night. Not close to anything. Geico contacted John's towing to take us to the dealership for repairs. They arrived very quickly considering our location. Driver was very professional and took us and our car to the dealership and made sure we had a plan to get home. read more

They made me pay $205 for a distance less than half a mile. I don't appreciate how they rate their service.

I was hit by a drunk driver on December 31st. The Aurora Police Department contacted Johns Towing to come get my vehicle because my husband and myself along with our 2 infants had to be transported to the hospital via ambulance. When my car was retrieved from Johns Towing I realized that they had completely gone through my entire car. They opened every box in my car which contained stuff for my job. They had even opened up Christmas gifts that were given to us that day. I still feel violated. I almost lost my life and my family and they took advantage. Don't trust your car to these people with property in it. They don't even deserve the 1 star. read more

On Saturday evening I was driving my Ford E-150 home and at the intersection of Yale and Chambers when the left rear axle broke off. Jeff one of the drivers arrived in about 30 minutes and despite having a flatbed tow truck, he was able to load my van and get it to my home. I was very impressed with the service and with Jeff's good work. I would totally recommend them to anyone!!! read more

DEFINITELY THE RIGHT TOWING COMPANY FOR THE JOB.in Aurora had to get a tow out of the middle of the road called them at 9:30 pm Dispatcher Timmy there was very informative on the pricing helping me find out exactly where i was not from around there, he gave me a very short wait the driver Bobby was there to me 15 minutes earlier than time given was very polite and courteous being we wasin bad spot he got out got my key and put me in his truck out of harms way and even got me a water out of his cooler got the car loaded got me home very nice people any time i need a tow i know where to go SO A BIG THANK YOU TO , TIM AND BOBBY WILL RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A TOW! read more

I had a great experience with John's Towing Service, for the third time. Steve came and got my car, about 30 minutes before scheduled. I rode with him to the tire shop, and he recommended a couple mechanics to get my car looked at for another issue. The car was towed with no trouble. I would definitely call John's Towing service again. I have used this service, through Geico, for the last 3 years. Every time I always get great service. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have never been so disappointed by lack of service and communication. Waited for over 3 hours from the time the tow was first supposed to arrive. Every time I called there was lack of options and lack of communication. Will never be using this tow company again and highly recommend no else either. read more

Aurora PD called this company after my car broke down on a busy street and another towing company quoted me an hour wait. John's Towing showed up in 20 minutes and the driver got everything hooked up really quickly. I was initially quoted about $165 for the hookup because it was called in by the PD as an accident, but after he dropped my car off at home a few miles away they lowered the hook up fee for me and saved me about $100 because there was actually no accident. The driver, Milo, was very friendly and tried offering advice about my car issues. If I ever need this service again I will be calling John's on my own. read more

This company deserves less than 1 Star. My wife had a minor accident and the Aurora PD called this service to tow her vehicle since it was leaking anti-freeze. The car arrived on their lot after 8pm on a Saturday. Monday morning I called at 0830 am and asked how much it would be to fix the vehicle. They told me it that they may not even look at it until the next day. After I asked about daily storage fees, they said they would try to look at it later that day. Late afternoon, I went to the lot and got the manager (James) to look at it (took him about 1 minute to say that it would be $3000 to fix). I told him that I wanted to either sell it to him for salvage or get it off the lot and sell it elsewhere. He stated that he would contact salvage and call me as soon as he had the quote. Thursday morning, still no word and went back to bet the car off the lot. They were sitting on the salvage quote... it was on the desk when I went in. I told him I wanted to take the car and they charged nearly $500 ---- This was for a 9 mile tow plus $150 for administrative fees and 2 days of storage because he was giving me a break so as not to cheat me . SHAME on this company and SHAME on James. I had the car fixed and totally repainted elsewhere for $1,100. read more
