I cannot say enough good things about this office! Both my kids have braces now. One had surgery (through a different office) because the tooth was coming in through the middle of the roof of his mouth. They walked him through what his treatment plan would look like to get his mouth fixed and my 13 year old felt comfortable with all the changes that were going on in his mouth even though it was painful at times. The office staff are so kind. Enter Dr J... he caught me off guard the first time I met him I seriously thought he was the office clown and just some low paid "kid" they kept around because they enjoyed his humor. Nope! That was THE MAN. and my kids look forward to going in to soak up his humor and tell him their own jokes. Could not be more please from all angles of service and experiences we get walking in the doors. PS the new building is beautiful!! Dr. Johnson and his staff are great! We were scheduled quickly for a consultation and were treated very well. Every visit is pleasant and fun. The office is nice and also has a very fun vibe; basketball hoop on the wall, music instruments, Dr. Johnson often is singing. You can tell the staff all truly like each other and work as a team. Their prices are good too (even thought braces are expensive). We had a consult at another office as well that offered low monthly payments. After looking it over, we would have ended up paying way more in total costs doing it that way. We would have been paying on the braces long after they were off just to have a lower monthly payment. It would have been about $1000 more total. We are very happy we chose Dr. Johnson! read more

Hands down the BEST experience! Our consultation was held by Greta and Dr. Johnson- both have the most welcoming and uplifting attitudes! We laughed and laughed so much! But the greatness does not stop there! Literally everyone we met was so so kind and smiley! My daughter was nervous before getting there and then didn't want to leave when it was over! Dr. Johnson looked extensively at my child's mouth and took a conservative route (since she's 8 and has baby teeth still) and said to wait for braces but get some other procedures done to help with overcrowding. I bet you can go to pretty much any place in the Salem/Keizer area to get your child braces, and you will be happy with the smile your child walks out with. Many places in Salem will greet you with a smile, maybe crack a joke and keep you well informed on the treatment your son or daughter is receiving. All in all you would be well off going somewhere aside from JFO. If you truly want a great smile BRACE YOURSELF (pun intended) for what I'm about to say. At Johnson Family Orthodontics you get more far more than just a straight smile!!! You will be welcomed at JFO like you are family. All employees are caring but the exceptional part about them is the fact that they remember you and what's going on in your life. They all have genuinely kind hearts. You are not just another client at JFO, you are their friends. But what else is so great about JFO? Dr. Cole Johnson of course!! Dr. Johnson has the same spunk for his patients that his employees have. Don't take my word for it though. This is a great place. Totally kid friendly were little ones can play video games while older ones get their braces checked or adjusted. Has an awesome staff, Cole is outgoing and vibrant. What can I say?! No one is thrilled to go to the dentist, especially go through the challenging obstacles of finding the right Ortho Doc and paying thousands of dollars, there's nothing exciting about that right?! WRONG! JFO overall is full of amazing staff "full of bubbly personality and smiles" which can be overwhelming if you're not used to happy faces and joyful conversations...they warm your heart up and become family! Having sensitive teeth and professionally/well-educated staff really helps when you are trying to explain sensitivity or bleeding gums or are simply drooling at the moment and cannot talk! These guys are great and the Doc, ensures that your smile looks to perfection as every one of his customers is a representation of his quality work. He is also a perfectionist so I can assure you that you will receive amazing customer service at ALL times (if you ever question anything, tell him immediately so he can address any matter!). They ALL make it a great place and I always looked forward to my appointments and not dreading them. My Smile is so much better aligned and I am glad I chose Dr. Johnson (I went to 3 consults and made a decision to JFO about a year and a half ago!)
