We are houseless, stuff in storage until we find another home, living with family and the house we were supposed to move into sits empty, and was just re-listed for $150k MORE so she can cover the liens. Apparently they only care about selling houses and not managing properties. They have ignored pest…read morereports and requests for months now and even completed requests that were never acknowledged. This is beyond unacceptable to have your management company continue to ignore you and falsely "complete" maintenance requests that have not been fulfilled. ESPECIALLY WITH PESTS when there are children and a pregnant woman involved. It's been over 9 days since the previous request was submitted, continue to be ignored AGAIN. I have seen the property manager has been seen drive through the parking area but not getting out of her vehicle to walk though the property. They still poor manage the property and surroundings areas. Ground maintenance didn't finish the job the last time we complained about the area being unsanitary. I had to take the time to tell the children they hired to stop looking in my car. The response I was given, "It use to be my car." which isn't an excuse to lurk in someone's vehicle. They have yet to return to pull over grown weeds from rocky areas, or trim the trees and bushes. Even though there aren't suppose to be dogs living in the premise, everywhere you look there are dog feces making the area reek an unbearable odor in the heat. They don't care about managing these apartments to the lease bit. The slumlord attitude is unreliable and untrustworthy. We will soon begin looking for a house to purchase and by their poor job here, we will not consider them for any further services. None of the tenants are happy as to how the property is managed. We are simply the only ones who know how to speak up on matters as most tenants don't have the app connected to the management company for maintenance. Very low quality, there are other real estate companies. Choose the ladder.

In the end they were totally lacking in protecting us from sellers that cleared lied on the homes disclosure, which is illegal! We also let them sell 2 other properties too so they made over 100 grand in commissions. We found a perfect home and started the negotiations. Since I really wanted the home I had to pay top dollar for it...I can't blame them for this but I think their advice wasn't the best for us. We closed escrow on this home one year ago. The home had a pool and spa that were not inspected at all. They assured us that this wouldn't be a issue. When we were doing the final walkthrough I lifted the spa cover and it was half filled with filthy water and a few plastic bottles...I was appalled, JB said, " oh it's no big deal I see this all the time". I should have stopped the close right then and there. Hindsight is 20-20. We have bought and sold several properties over the decades and have always done very well. None of these properties had a pool so we were not aware of what to do as far as inspections went. This is where they failed us miserably! The pool and spa were destroyed, literally broken, leaks and serious damage all around. It was a nightmare for us. Especially after we paid the full asking price. Our family attorney advised us to sue and we started steps in that direction since the seller has clearly lied and used deceptive practices to hide damage. Literally everything In and out of the home was broken or damaged in some way! We decided not to take the legal route since it's so negative and stressful, even though we had a winning case. It's just money and we love the home. For my part I leave my home in pristine condition and give my buyers everything they ask for. From my art on the wall to furniture that fits, it's just the kind of woman I am. In retrospect I know what a smart agent would have done: They would have required 40 grand held in escrow until the pool was opened in the spring. I referred one of my girlfriends to them and thank god she wasn't impressed with them! I'm writing this to prevent any Yelp friends using these horrible agents. When buying a new home it should be a happy, blissful time in your life. I have recently purchased another property in Reno and found a excellent agent! If you need a good referral just PM me. I looked at a lot of average realtors, bad realtors, part timers (I would not use a part time realtor) and the top producers. We were after the top producers in our areas to market and sell our home. We boiled the list down to the top 4 and my wife and I interviewed them all. We selected Alan Hoffman and his team. Alan was by far the best prepared. His presentation, comparable, marketing data & analysis and knowledge of the market were the most detailed and accurate with regards to the property I wanted to sell. When he left I had a thorough understanding of the market value of my home, and a pretty good start at a marketing plan and time frame to sell my home. Alan also had an advantage over the other agents in that his approach to selling includes the use of his team. The HOMEGATE team is comprised of people who handle the marketing, home staging, title Co.'s, home repairs, moving, legal matters, associate Realtors and an Administrator who pull it all together. Due diligence when hiring real estate agents means asking the real estate agents lots of questions and getting lots of upfront written answers from real estate agents. We read every Open House publication by the Nevada Real Estate Division at https://red.nv.gov/Content/Real_Estate/Open_House/. We did our due diligence and Jon Hughes Realty One Group Eminence, "independent Realtor" failed to adequately respond. To me, One and Two-Star Ratings are for when a business fails to do what they are in the business to do. FIRST, this "independent Realtor" doesn't have a Veterans Discount to buyers and sellers of real estate. A publicly disclosed daily Veteran Discount provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream their sacrifices have made possible. SECOND, this "independent Realtor" spent a lot of time telling us about his "Knowledge, Speed, Convenience, Professionalism! Security, Honesty, Dedication!" and "Straight talk, no catch. True choice to do it how you want", yet a) he never provided us with three references, b) he never provided us with a copy of his required State of Nevada business license (severe fine and a NRS 598 Deceptive Trade Practice if he doesn't have), c) he never provided us with his required county business license, (a NRS 598 Deceptive Trade Practice if he doesn't have), d) he never provided us with his required county fictitious firm name filed certificate (a crime per NRS 602.090 and a NRS 598 Deceptive Trade Practice if he doesn't have), e) he never provided us his required city business license(s) (a crime and a NRS 598 Deceptive Trade Practice if he doesn't have), f) he never provided us with a copy of his personal or vehicle liability insurance in the event someone was injured while he was driving a buyer or showing a house, g) he never provided us a copy of his agreement with his real estate broker in the event someone was injured while he was driving a buyer or showing a house, h) he never provided us with a copy of his required State of Nevada real estate license, (a NRS 598 Deceptive Trade Practice if he doesn't have), and i) he immediately emailed us MLS-bot listings that bragged, "new hot water heater", "new roof", new addition", "new furnace", "new a/c", "new hot tub", "new electrical", "new plumbing", yet there is no record of these improvement boasts having the required city or county permit(s) which is a clear safety, health and habitability issue to any buyer. (All permits are a matter of public record and easily looked up.) I really dislike it when a business leaves me no choice but to leave a negative review. First, because I have to write this distasteful review instead of the glowing reviews I prefer and second, because this business put my family and I through such a distasteful experience. We don't recommend Jon Hughes Realty One Group Eminence, "independent Realtor".
