Excellent deal for pumpkin picking. Kids are free and adults are only $5 for the hayride to the pumpkin patch. This year's hayride was Harry Potter themed. The pumpkin patch was sparse but big enough for the obligatory photos. They had a fairly large selection of pumpkins to buy including pink pumpkins and Australian pumpkins. They also have a produce stand with peppers, apples, squash, and other fruits and vegetables.

Recently did a DIY farm stand tour of South Jersey. Got a weird vibe from the staff here. Tried tomatoes and peaches in August (the season), and neither tasted ripe nor good. This was highly rated among NJ farm stands so I expect at least what I can get at home in PA when I buy Jersey produce that's made the trip closer to me. Toms were not quite hydroponic in taste, but definitely lacking in flavor, especially compared to the succulent beauties I'd gotten at other NJ farm stands a week earlier. Several tough spots, like when a tomato has a tumor, just a glob of mutant cells in the middle of the tommy meat. I love getting discounted ripe produce, but the peaches on offer here were so bruised, they were half garbage. So I bought firsts. Let them ripen over a couple days. They were only a smidge soft when I attempted to eat one, but upon cutting into it, the flesh was brown, like alllll of it, not bruised spots, just brown flesh. I would expect this from some wild peach tree in the middle of a hike among forests of others random species, and it's like, "I dare you to eat that," but come on. You are a prevalent NJ farm stand, your peach flesh should be golden-azz yellow, or "peach," not brown. And as for the flavor? Peaches are always a sweet and sour taste, and can vary on that spectrum. These were on the sour side, in an unintentional, unartful way. Again, like what I'd expect from stumbling upon an old wild meonpausal peach tree in the middle of nowhere, after being dared to try it. Sad. It made me sad. I like the pink tractor, but I don't want to go back.

Everyone is…read moreso nice :) There is always some sort of live music as the market promotes local artists! This year 2023 it's located in a courtyard between other shops, and on the main street. There's a lot of local produce to choose from, as well as handmade crafts, Jim's dog cookies, skin, care, products, etc. but, the food and the organic flowers are the stars for me! I seriously can't choose what to eat on Saturdays when I go there. Today I had breakfast burritos, street tacos and a to die for smoked beef sandwich! It's only open on Saturdays in Haddonfield, South New Jersey 8am-1:30pm, from May through mid October.

Haddonfield farmers market is only a few miles away and I go there to pick up a few veggies, fruit as well as maybe a baked good or two. This market is located in the center of Haddonfield in closed circular pedestrian area which is surrounded by boutiques, tailoring ship and an ice cream parlor. On Saturday they transform the area with vendors selling fresh vegetables and fruits, pizza, flowers, cookies, cakes and pastries. The selections are much smaller than other area markets but it gathers a crowd and they are appreciative of your business. Haddonfield is a small enclave only a few miles from Philadelphia. So, the small town feel is humbling yet knowing a major city is a train ride away is the best of both worlds if you want to visit a larger Farmers Market for more selections. Otherwise, this market will get you through with the enjoyable delectable it offers.

SO much to love about this market: some Philly favorites like Kismet Bagels and Milk Jawn ice cream, and then a number of local farmers selling everything from peas to kale to strawberries to chicken - depending on the season. You'll also find Revolution Coffee right at the entrance selling cold brew for $4. Happiness to me is wandering a market with a full cold brew, so mission accomplished here. I grabbed sic apple cider donuts, blueberries, chicken thighs, mushrooms (would stop by her booth EVERY time - delicious mushroom combos that made my risotto that night totally out of this world), and left only like $30 poorer. This is the best way to buy produce, and everything truly was delicious. I am still working through the blueberries and feel totally ruined since these are by far the best I've ever had. Big shoutout to all of the farmers bringing this to life and the many Collingswood families using this service to it's fullest extent. I cannot wait for my next trip!
